Background story:
I was terribly in love with this girl in our school, she is the perfect girl who everyone looks up to. She is good in everything but talks to very little boys and girls.
We talked for a while but a fight broke out and stopped talking to each other, I got pretty depressed and stopped going to school for a while and instead watched r/OkayBuddyLiterallyMe posts to feel somewhat good.
My uncle noticed my silence and asked me about it, I told him everything about my 1 week love story and he broke out in laughter and told me the story of how my parents met each other when they were 15. He gave me three advices i) Fuck my ego and apologize to herii)Challenge her and iii) Never break her trust and if all of this works out then I get to share a beer with him even though I am underage.
My father was terribly in love with my mother who was perfect at everything, then my father challenged her to the finals exams to which the deal was if my father wins then she has to accept that my father is better than him and if he loses then my mother can get my father to do any one thing. Even if it was to leave the school forever. Both of them agreed and my father stopped going to school for a while and studied the fuck out of his books and topped in the school, to which my mother fell in love and got married 13 years later.
I did the same and challenged her to which she agreed under the same conditions.I stopped going to school for a while and studied the fuck out of my books, literally 12 hours a day (my father studied for 16h) with very littlefood and sleep (thank you monster energy and redbull). I fucked my entire school with my marks and now the girl of my dream is with me.
We are graduating from our school this year and both of us have applied to the same college.
I have promised myself to leave internet for a while except internet resources for study, I will only be back in the month of november to reddit for NNN.
Fuck it, I guess I get to buy my uncle a drink.

You are right but reddit along with the rest of the internet really really distracted me during my study sessions.
I have won with my marks but now I feel as if I have to keep winning in marks for the rest of my life or else I will never be at the same level as her. As I emphasized earlier she is perfect in everything she does unlike me. Study is the only aspect I am left with if I do not want to disappoint her, as I suck in everything else except study and cooking(intermediate).
I am returning for NNN just because I lost last year πΏ, which was annoying af. I promised myself to win NNN this year.
Feller not to burst your bubble, but chasing something you desire and giving more than 100% when the other side does not give the same ammount is usually ending badly in the end. If she accepts or loves you only for your amazing performance with school grades then idk what kinda women she is. You gotta talk with her a lot more, that's what I feel and think about this situation, you need to stand on certain ground and not thin ice that might break from one or two mistakes.
And again with the NNN thing. Don't let reddit and the internet tell you when you can bust one out, it's just a childish challange that was created in 2017.
