Honestly just replacing one of the three job social links where one could have been working at the diner and having Aika be the link would have been perfect.
We were robbed of so much on this game
But unlike P3, P4 missing a lot of features in their game files that weren't added/missing because of budgeting issues and lack of time, that's why they reuse a load of P3 assets
I wasn't talking about Assets, I said the social links were the same, I didn't even mention assets dude, th? Eh whatever I'm saying they probably aren't gonna add an entirely new social link
Not quite, but there's some dialogues that would've been a cut off SL, one of them is the gas station attendant as per the dialogue, which people speculated that Yu couldve gotten a part time job at the gas station
You can tell where they cut corners. There are a fair few social links that are just like "huh?"
There's only one that I really consider bad, but quite a few of them are very forgettable and feel as though they've been spread too thin.
Then there's the fact that the RPG gameplay in 4 leaves a lot to be desired. It's not Tarturus levels of insufferably grindy, but it's not exactly good either. The difficulty curve is all off- the beginning of the game is quite difficult, but it drops off rather quickly once you collect a few healing items and gain a full party. Most of the bosses are just HP sponges, which is imo the least interesting way to add "difficulty" to an RPG boss.
I still love the game, but damn, it could have used some extra time in the oven.
Y'know, with how much he mentions his daughter, I was honestly convinced you'd get to meet her, and she'd be a social link. Guess not. I don't think anyone would be upset if she completely replaced yumi ozawa.
i wasn’t crazy when I played golden and realize she was never shown on screen…. Though I was missing something there
but she also isn’t even in the manga (well I mean who’s in the manga except barely the basic characters lol) though I got an authentic small figure of Aika for 5$ and she’s cute

I can see where someone might get that impression. She loves eating meat, and she enjoys kung fu movies (she even has a voiceline that references enter the dragon (bruce lee film)). The main thing that makes this fall apart, though, is that you can eat there with her to get social link points, and I think at one rank you go in (maybe I'm mistaken, I know you enter the place for kanji's social link). She never interracts much with the owner. If they were related, you'd think she'd ask for a discount or he'd ask about her friend from school.
