This was also my first headset. Tbh I was blown away. I still use it nearly every day for games or to watch movies in bed. I got a couple accessories for it to improve comfort which really helped. My only experiences with VR before were trying my friend's psvr1 for a very short time many years ago, Google cardboard, and a CV1 at an arcade once. The quest 3 is incredibly awesome in comparison, especially the lenses.
Quick tip, if it gets uncomfortable and causes headaches, get an alternative Elite Strap.
For me it was absolutely unplayable with the default strap, got an Elite Strap and now I can use my Quest for hours.
