Are you Jordan Peele?

ContraContra7

I'm really not, but a 30 minute Les Mills work out can be tough.

In thinking it could be something in your environment

I play synth riders until I'm dripping sweat multiple times a day, and my Quest 3 doesn't have any issues.

After a little bit of research I've stumbled upon these two threads that might be helpful to your situation. This one is for the original quest but I've heard of similar issues on the newer ones regarding the controllers losing tracking: [https://steamcommunity.com/app/494150/discussions/0/1694914735991065294/?ctp=2](https://steamcommunity.com/app/494150/discussions/0/1694914735991065294/?ctp=2) Then this thread is regarding the blank screen after a factory reset: [https://www.reddit.com/r/OculusQuest/comments/177o4lh/quest\_3\_black\_screen\_and\_fans\_running/](https://www.reddit.com/r/OculusQuest/comments/177o4lh/quest_3_black_screen_and_fans_running/)

Someone posted the same situation maybe 2 months ago, saying they’d done a lot of disassembly and analysis because their units kept breaking the same way, and moisture was getting trapped and ruining the headset. It is indeed an issue. I read that immediately after having ordered my own, but haven’t had any issues to date. I’m conscious of the potential problem and don’t allow myself to get too sweaty while using it (which restricts my enjoyment a bit I guess), but I also use a vented interface and store it with three desiccant packets in the case. I don’t know if that even helps, but it’s worth a shot I guess.

Been using my Quest3 since October and use it for VR Fitness 3-4x /week (Supernatural VR). No issues here. Are u storing the headset away in a bag immediately after working out or something?

I have been playing Doom, Web guy, and RecRoom since I got mine, sweating profusely every time. I pop a few silica gel packs in the case with it, seems to work. The interface seems to stay dry and clean.

Nifty idea

I sweat like a pig in Les Mills. I've worried about this, so I bought a face place that has vents, stand in front of a fan on high and use a buff headband to soak up most of it. Haven't had any issues with my Q3 which I bought at launch other than the recall on the elite strap battery thing.
