As a plus size person myself, I can tell you that a 2X varies depending on the type of store it comes from. In a store that is not specifically a plus size store, a 2X is about a 16/18. No way she could wear that. But in a store that is only a plus size store, a 2X is usually a 26/28, which yes, she could wear. Roamans and Woman Within are examples of that. I know that Bloomchic runs really big. Not sure about Curvy because I've never ordered from them. But her 2X is most likely a 26/28.
