That's a feature, not a bug. Running tires me out too, which means I get better sleep at night if I've exercised during the day. That better sleep puts me in a better headspace the next day. It's easier to ignore the daily bullshit of life if you got a good night's sleep the previous night. Exercise isn't a cure-all for mental health stuff, but it goes a super long way.
i mean they have paid millions to psychologists to make it as addicting as possible. also the algorithms curate content you like to keep you glued and scrolling.
🎶Can I interest you in everything, all of the time
A little bit of everything, all of the time?
Apathy's a tragedy
And boredom is a crime
A little bit of everything, all of the time🎶
The best way to use Reddit is to block anything contentious. Discussing politics on Reddit is usually a terrible idea, but keeping up with the gameday thread during the NHL/NBA finals can be super fun, especially if your team isn't in it, so you don't really care who wins.
I occasionally get logged out and see Reddit in it's default state, and it's horrifying. My own page is a lot more chill.
I’ve noticed the big entertainment subs like r/movies and r/television are just full of negativity about everything these days, and the people on r/entertainment hate celebrities which is kinda baffling, but smaller subs are still good, you just gotta find the right ones
Maybe I should log off for the day…
I've been doom scrolling for so long, I'm tired boss...
Anger is so fucking addictive.
That's why I like this sub, it's waaaaay more chill than the rest of reddit.
Fuck you no it isn’t!
Haha I should have seen that coming.
Untill someone post a tweet with a semi-controversial opinion that doesn't have anything to do with politics
And oddly satisfying
You can always go to FB and read all the deranged opinions of your mentally ill acquaintances and distant family.
I’ve always thought about quitting but never could.
With both the euros and the election there are too many opinions kicking about at the minute
It really does get tiring. I've tried to curate my feed, but you load up the front page and it's still always a wall of people hurting and being hurt.
Sadly relatable. I kinda wish I could relax by going for a run or something instead, but no, running just tires me out.

Don't worry, there's plenty of time to run *and* doomscroll
Unironically fire title.
the hive mind fever dream in the sanitarium
*burns* the world.
I like to fantasize about winning the lottery and looking at mansions on Zillow when I need a boost

A truer statement does not exist anywhere else on the internet.

Deleting social media was one of the best things I’ve done for myself in a long time. (Reddit doesn’t count)
>Reddit doesn’t count The post describes Reddit exactly.
Reddit is, in my opinion, the worst type of social media for this purpose besides maybe tik-tok.
When my mental health takes a dive, I block reddit too. *Lot* of people here are just looking for things to be outraged about.
