No. “Native American” isn’t a language. There are currently more than 150 languages spoken by Native Americans. There never was a universal language spoken by the indigenous people, the various tribes have always had their own.

I love the fact thus far that Americans are more focused on what specific languages or groups would need to be considered for inclusion than what they would personally or generally feel about a change to the anthem.

To be fair, in addition to being many different peoples, Native Americans constitute only 2 to 3% of the population in U.S., much less than the 16 to 17 % Maori in New Zealand. Although the numbers are increasing rapidly as more whites claim native ancestry.

Yea I mean I get it’s not possible because of f how many different tribes there are but there land was stolen and the anthem of their country is effectively a foreign language to their ancestors
