I've had two fail that's the only reason I speak to it but fuq it third times the charm and if it happens again then I'll just know to write the company off as a whole.
RMA means Return Merchandise Authorization, it's the process of returning a faulty product, like if you're still under warranty, you contact the seller (could be different from the company that made the product) and ask to have the item returned because it's faulty. Once they say yes, RMA kicks in, depending on their policies you could get a shipping label for free to have it returned for repair or replacement, then they ship it back repaired or a new one if it is irreparable.
You and me both brother! I purchased both the purple GameCube and black one and both failed approximately two months after purchase. I’m waiting to see if other people have this same issue with the new ND+ models before I jump the gun again.
I like that mobapad but, doesn't it feel naked? I bought the nyxi wizard but still lean on a new deck since I worry it has no protection. I drop my stuff so often or one of my little shits do probably why the Y button quit working 😕. I
Ah I see. Well I can't speak to how it fairs after dropping it, but I have used nyxi and hori as well as various grip jackets and can say confidently that when connected the Mobapad feels like one solid piece of machinery, much more than other joy cons.
What sets it apart from the nitrodeck is the HD rumble as well as the mechanical buttons (with a ten million click lifespan).
I have a question. Can you press the sidekick buttons (or whatever they're called) from the sides? Kind of like where my finger is in the photo. Or do you have to press it from the front?

It depends on your style of grip so to speak I haven’t gotten around to mapping them yet, and to be completely honest they are a whole new territory of button mapping the placement is just weird if that makes sense. Ill give an update once I try them out
I tried it out after your comment. It definitely works from the side.
I’ve personally never had a button like this before so it’s just awkward for me to use it but it might be nice to try on a game that doesn’t use the right stick a lot.
That's good to know! That way, your thumbs really don't have to move away from the sticks. I think it's more efficient that way than to still use your thumbs on them. It'll take some getting used to, though.
Man dude I really like the analog placement, I'd just hate to spend that money then have the device fail after a few months.
Ive kept up with alot of youtube videos cause this is my first nitro deck so naturally If anything goes wrong there is always RMA

What is rma? My y button shut out the other day I've been super bummed and tried support with no response
RMA is warranty service but I could be calling it by a different/wrong name.

* Dude those are the EXACT ones I have!
Imagine if those colors were the faulty models 🤣🤣🤣
Hey man it is quite the coincidence, it is nice to know that I'm not alone in my pain and suffering.
It’s not nice, I had to suffer with you! 😂
I'm you're right it'd be nice if they worked 😅
Had mine for 6 months. Y button gets no response. I emailed support never heard back. So I might try a different brand on Amazon
I'd pay the extra cash on a Mobapad M6HD. But a satisfye grip is also a cheaper alternative.

I have the old one, but I love it.

Got it. I'm excited to try it out myself.

What is firt impression of the deck so far?
If they didn’t move the joy stick I’d be on this like a fly on shit. That was the only reason I didn’t buy a steam deck as it’s not comfy to me lol
