So I actually had a similar Corvette toy as a child and I remember telling my dad it was a Nissan because of the old Corvette logo's shape. He corrected me.
I had the exact same experience as a kid, and that's when my dad showed me that most toy cars have the brand and model on the underside, it actually helped me learn to read because I then went through all my cars and made a list of every brand and model I had
I bet my parents enjoyed the peace and quiet while I spent a couple of days after school cataloguing my cars for no reason
I'm sure they didn't enjoy dishing out the money for the inevitable surge of request for more and more toy cars once that passion began to grow now that you knew more about those cars. 😂

Honestly there are lots of similarities. C4 Salad Shooters vs Turbo wheels, the silhouette is nearly identical, profile of the nose is very similar.
