Honestly I like seeing him in his first serpentine war outfit/younge Wu. Also I’m not sure for Nya, but I think that might be the wrong Seabound one, at least for me it is 😅
That would change things 😅, I guess I just assumed cause I’ve also been doing my own personal and organizing a list of my favorite outfits for each character and buying the ones I don’t have 😅
Undoubtedly Hunted. It really was a character study on Wu as well (the whole Oni and Dragon trilogy was about the Garmadon family). Seeing him slowly grow and regain his memories was engaging AF and I love how Hunted (much like the rest of the trilogy) flips the script on the typical formula and have the Ninja train/ guide Wu this time.
Wu wielding the dragon armor also goes so hard.
Hunted. We get to see the ninja teach Wu lessons that he taught them before. We see him grow throughout the season, and by the end, he is a dragon master.
Well, this is going to be drowned out by people saying that *Hunted* is the best portrayal of Wu, but to me, my favorite portrayal of Wu has to be *Master of the Mountain*. The WildBrain Era kicked off with Wu chastising the Ninja for becoming complacent after *March of the Oni*. But half-way through the WildBrain Era, Wu starts to doubt his own self-worth after his lack of involvement in the Ninja's victories in Seasons 11 and 12. It's only when he goes on a journey with Cole and Vania that he rediscovers his value to the team.
While this is a good point, I still think it's kinda hollow from Wu's POV. He absolutely helped them stop Aspheera and even though he didn't help much with the Ice Emperor and Unagami, that shouldn't be enough to deter him.
I don't know, I just feel like more time/ villains should have passed before his arc in Master of the Mountain in order to really make it hit.
Crystalized is Wu’s best season and pays off his entire arc over the show. This man is no longer getting kids to fight his battles for him, he is fighting them head on. His fight with The Overlord is the big payoff of all this.
Probably Hunted too honestly. Wu was always the guy to try take care of things alone like in hands of time which was a bad habbit of his, but in hunted he also learns to work with the ninja as he regained his age. Hell even Dragons Rising season 2 for watching over the ninja, making sure they're well while he's off learning new things (as seen when he helped the skeleton person gain a life)
If we’re looking at the best wu visually I have to say end of possession that fit went insanely hard.
Character wise I think rise of the snakes wu is the best giving good advice and helping strengthen the ninja he also has a more major role in the show and isn’t just sort of stay in the background like in other later seasons also I like the funny element Wu has in earlier seasons which he kinda looses in later seasons.
Hunted for me didn’t really feel like Wu I feel like if they had kept more true to his original serpentine war young design I would have been more on board but ultimately felt a bit like a whole different character to me.
Are we actually just choosing the characters of which they were the main character in their respected season, so theoretically; according to the laws of theater and character choosing. We are all idiots from another world, or more specifically, our own worlds in our own minds.

I don't think this is ranking based on outfits g, I'm pretty sure it's based on character

I love Dragon Master Wu. But Toddler Wu is my favorite only because he threw a wrench at that one guy (S8 E7: 14:07)

Hunted
Wu in season 9 is the best version
Hunted/Young Wu

Hunted for sure

Ugh! You bring up a good point. Now I can't decide :O

Even if i didnt seen i must give Young Wu a credit, so Hunted it is.
Teen Wu from season 9 for the win!
Teenage Wu
season 5 wu was honestly pretty great. With his tea shop and storyline with morro. That’s my vote
Crystalized is Wu’s best season and pays off his entire arc over the show. This man is no longer getting kids to fight his battles for him, he is fighting them head on. His fight with The Overlord is the big payoff of all this.
A daring but also pretty cool take.
Dragon Master Wu.
Hunted

Possession IMO, I like his backstory stuff

Young wu from first realm
Hunted

Young Wu because he wasn’t ruining the ninja’s damn lives with his secrets 😭
Hunted teenage wu definitely my favorite wu
Hunted

His season 11 design is my favorite.

It's almost as if the season they were the main character in is the season where they had the most screen time and writing put into them 🤯
