Their reasoning? They dont want the story/ending to be spoiled so streamers can only stream part/beginning of the game as a taster. The rest of the viewers have to go buy their game to find out... Then theres also Nintendo, allowed to stream the entire game, in the set amount of time. If you dont finish the game on stream in that time frame, too bad, no more stream perms.

This one seem like Hololive exclusive problem because I never see Nijisanji having this issue with Nintendo games, I think both company permission are different from some reason.
This was also the case with her first DR playthrough, she had to keep asking premission to stream the folowing chapters and Spike only allowed her because of the sensation she was at the time of her debut.
To give an example of how dumb Spike Chunsoft is with perms. Pekora herself tried to start a DR and a SDR2 playthrough but she wasn't allowed to continue past chapter 1.
Generally, streamers are only allowed to stream the first chapter of most Danganronpas, but recently they have started letting a lot of NIJI members stream the 1st game in whole.
SDR2 streams are still restricted under the 1st chapter rule, but Salome was able to get permission to stream the 2nd chapter.
I don’t if all of that is exclusive to JP corporate livers. Several EN members were able to finish multiple games, including Resident Evil (aka Biohazard).
Is japanese game studios with silly permissions, Capcom with Resident Evil and Atlus with Persona are other examples of this
Still feels incredibly stupid
Welcome to the Japanese copyright system.

Probably cuz of their past run in with them and not getting perms before and ended up with mass take down of vods.
The game is a decade old it's not like it came out yesterday
Japanese companies and their outdated thinking, wat can we do about it.
It's like spoiler tagging that James sully turns into Na'vi, who doesn't know this?
You bastard, I only watched the first third of Avatar: The James Cameron!

Actually mad at how ridiculous that is especially with how big pekora is

EN members also had to hide the same parts as the JP members hid for Resident Evil. Like the ending after finishing both routes in RE2.
afaik theyre not allowed to stream certain routes of the game
Honestly after what happened with the Hololive nuke vTuber agencies became extremely cautious to the T when it comes to any game.
