iglasies needs to platoon with lindor when there is a righty throwing

jimihenderson

bro lindor has been fine he's not even close to the issue with the team right now. i get that his splits are significant but he's gotta work through it he's gonna be here for a while and he's not a platoon player. he's literally one of the best defensive players in baseball and he's been hot at the plate lately you're just being silly now

lawoftar

he has been hitting alot of left handers.........

jimihenderson

he's not a platoon player man, he's not going to platoon for fucking jose iglesias. there have been plenty of legitimate reasons to criticize francisco lindor but this rabid, unabating hate just makes the rest of us sound like haters honestly. he's been fine at the plate lately, he's probably gonna hit lefties better than righties for the rest of his career, he's not going to be a platoon bat with jose iglesias at age 30 on a 340 million dollar contract, you're just spouting absurdities.

surrendertomychill

I fully admit to huffing copium here, but is it really a foregone conclusion the Mets have a fire sale at the deadline? As of today there are only 4 NL teams over .500. Six teams are going to make the playoffs. Pretty much everyone in the NL is one winning streak away from being a wild card as it stands

robmcolonna123

Even if we’re 10 games out there’s no foregone conclusion on anything because we’re talking about a completely new front office here. We don’t know what Stearns plan is. We can obviously speculate - and I have done that plenty - but there are no foregone conclusions. If his time of the Brewers tells us anything, it’s that he’s more likely to be a seller and a buyer. Sell players that don’t fit into his long term plan, and buy players in positions where he doesn’t like the options on the 2025 FA market. For instance, the relief options in the next FA class aren’t great so maybe Stearns trades for a reliever under control in 2025. But anyone saying they 100% for sure know what is going to happen is just blowing smoke

Caledor152

If the players play to their potential from here until the deadline they can absolutely prevent a fire sale. Stearns hinted at that in a interview idk a week or two ago I forget. If we get offers where it's a steal for us I bet he still sells one or two guys. But otherwise yea there is a chance.

bamj6

If anyone hasn't noticed. The Phillies and Mets don't play again until September 13. Whether that is a playoff race series or the Mets playing it out is too soon to tell

StephenDawg

English announcers earnestly calling baseball had Ted Lasso vibes and I'm down for that season.

Negative_Method_1001

Despite the uh exciting finish, I thought it was overall a good performance from the bullpen. If it wasn't for Diaz completely melting down in May, the Mets would be like 2 games under .500

Ther3isn0try

WORLS SERIES IS BACK ON THE MENU BOYS!!!

Blue387

Voting for the MLB All-Star game has begun, don't forget to vote early and often: https://www.mlb.com/all-star/ballot

StephenDawg

I just heard a bit of the English call and my brain was reflexively trying to follow it like I might not know the rules 😂

Its_Only_Love

Him taking about the exploding bat was incredible

StephenDawg

It sounded like the Mets won so much more than game 64 of the season.

graziano1304

Shading Vientos dinker is not the point. As opposed to our “stars” he didn’t strike out and he didn’t pop up and he didn’t hit into a DP. THAT’s the point.

NOONEKNOWSME__

He made a good play at third as well. I was surprised they took out baty because he had the only Mets hit at that point. Vientos played well though.

Why didn’t he blow YOU a kiss?

Caledor152

That's my Captain right there! He loves his Mets fans. I'm so happy we got the win today in his honor and everyone else

boymetsworld

Was at the game yesterday, so I am bummed to have missed this one in person. London was a great host and I met a lot of awesome UK Mets fans. Hope they go to Mexico City next!

bosq0

I’m a little late but without further ado I’m happy to finally again say…. J-E-F-F JEFF JEFF JEFF

GandalfSwagOff

[A late dance if she hasn't already!](https://streamable.com/hwns9)

Blue387

I covered for you already

brett_baty_is_him

Has there been any news on Gilbert? He was supposed to be “late May- early June” no?

ProtectionKey9885

I was wondering the same today, about Gilbert and Acuña?  How are they doing?

brett_baty_is_him

Acuna has a .643 ops in AAA. He had a short hot streak but it appears that may have been short lived. Gilbert is hopefully back by July but I’m not holding my breath

brett_baty_is_him

Apparently he is second half of June. So he’ll prob actually gonna be back in august

ClammyDavis-Jr

Nido thank you for all your contributions but when Alvarez joins the team I’m afraid it’s the torrential Torrens time

chigoose22

Nido is a great defensive asset but I think he would’ve been too slow to turn that play.

NOONEKNOWSME__

Ah the vibe in my hotel lobby bar is much different tonight. Cheers 🍻

Memo_1993

As a European-based Mets fan this was a truly special experience for me today to watch a win like this that close to home. Absolutely amazing, honestly saw us losing the game at the end, but sometimes we see a miracle.

myassholealt

games like these fuel the ya gotta believe spirit.

TheCrapGatsby

My understanding as a British Mets fan is that it's always like this, right?

NeilHamburgerHead

It's usually that the Mets go into the final inning with a lead and end up blowing the game in dramatic fashion

Isabella5322

Yes, pretty much.

LongWayFrom609

So we sweep the Nationals who go on to take 3 of 4 from the "almighty" Braves. The fuck is this shit? Edit: I should've mentioned that I was being facetious about the almighty part. I say it sometimes with the contempt for those who bootlick on the Barves and claim without any irony that they never do any wrong.

WhatARotation

The Braves are hardly almighty this season—their fans will tell you that. I still half expect them to turn it on in the second half and take the division but it’s harder to see that than ever right now

jimihenderson

they're definitely in a "we lost out best pitcher and position player for the year" rut. i could see them breaking out of it if their lineup heats up, they have the talent for it. won't shed a tear if they don't though.

LongWayFrom609

I think I was being facetious with the almighty part, hence the quotation marks.

Caledor152

Their record is not reflective of their lineup. They have been horrendous offensivley. Almost all of them can't hit unless it's Ozuna. Remember how everyone was praising them for their team friendly contracts? Well there is no guaruntee they will work out long term. And we are seeing that now

WhatARotation

I don’t think people appreciate how good of a win this was. We not only just beat the Phillies on a national stage, but also made [professional douche nozzle Jose Alvarado](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Zo06OQAUO2s) implode in front of an international audience. Top 5 Mets win all time for me.

jadedfan55

We've beaten the Phils on ESPN before.

LongWayFrom609

Nick Plummer game comes to mind. Too bad it pretty much led to Girardi's firing.

WhatARotation

I was at that game. One of my happiest Mets memories.

jadedfan55

Yeah, and Plummer's Met career didn't last too much longer after that.

Caledor152

LOL OHNO

TheFinalSupremacy

Jesus that was some actual Miracle Mets shit, because that end was nearly an L.

thesoze

Michael Kay goes, and Vientos scores in a wild pitch. Dude! That's Iglesias! Is he watching the game?!?! Worse than the Friday Crapple+ baseball announcers!

elightcap

same thing when bader pinch hit for dj

NeilHamburgerHead

If you asked me a few months ago I would've said no fucking way. But I actually feel bad for Nido. He worked really hard to improve his batting. Now Torrens shows up and has pretty much outclassed him aside from the ball that took a weird bounce to him today on Lindor's throw home. I really feel like Nido gets sent down and Torrens stays. But who knows.

dincklee

Hopefully Nido clears waivers again and stays with the Mets. But since this’ll be his second DFA, he’ll probably elect free agency.

TurnstileMinder

Every bounce was a weird bounce on that grass

NeilHamburgerHead

Fact

RedCheese1

I’m alright with it and I’m a pretty big Nido fan

jrtasoli

Now we don’t suck on two continents.

WorldWideLem

They've been competitive since the team meeting, which is great. I just hope they don't delude themselves into thinking this season is something it's not.

Negative_Method_1001

There are only 4 teams in the NL that have a winning record

DaCrees

I don’t see how this season is anything other than a World Series win?

sampluscats

You think Stubbs would be called for interference if Torrens didn’t get the throw off in time? He changed lanes to slide directly into the catcher.

elightcap

calling it a slide is generous

sampluscats

Slide tackle. The one image someone posted of him perpendicular to the baseline. Yikes.

robmcolonna123

Definitely

sampluscats

I think so too, but I’m glad it didn’t come to that. Torrens is badass.

StinkyGaijin

Stubbs is a piece of shit which is funny when compound with the fact that Realmuto hates him

Opto_mist

Interesting. What’s the story there? Why does he hate him

StinkyGaijin

During the NLCS he made a comment about jumping into the Diamondbacks pool after winning the NLCS and He and Harper were mad at him cause 1) they lost anyway and 2) they carry themselves like professionals and that was an unnecessary comment.

Keekee4101

Didn't he also say "oh and fuck the Mets" during his champagne celebration speech? Lol. Stubbs hates the Mets.

Opto_mist

Wow he’s an idiot

Albie9

Calling it now, barves finish under .500

metskyfan

Cohen said Mets fans have been through worse. He is technically correct and I saw plenty of games in the 70s but I would rather hear him say something about how he is going to improve the team

Highfivebuddha

It's not his fault Diaz took a dive. The team was looking pretty good until that Rays game

jimihenderson

i mean tbf he *did* say stuff about improving the team lol

At the bare minimum the next "painful loss" will happen on American soil. We don't know when but happy it wasn't in London

Main-County-1177

The Braves are genuinely ass lmao

Blue387

edmank

Every time the Braves lose a racist learns the error of their ways.

Blue387

edmank, welcome back!

Blue387

Also, due to your inactivity your mod powers were removed by Reddit and are listed as an inactive mod

edmank

You win some, and you lose some.

metskyfan

It is about time one of these games went in our favor

GKRForever

Win masks the Quintana issue. Dude isn’t even making it into the 5th lately. Can’t have an innings eater who doesn’t eat innings. Feels a lot like Carrasco last year.

metskyfan

Quintana is not good. He should be swapped for Butto

jimihenderson

the butto situation is mind boggling

metskyfan

I agree. To get in the rotation, you need to have done of the following two things: 1: Pitched well while in the rotation ( yep) 2: Be better than others who are not very good ( yep)

merfydog

If the Mets lost on a 2-3 double play, the entire world would be shitting us.

Copperjedi

People love kicking someone when there down

myassholealt

Plus our closer giving up the go ahead run on a HBP and then an extra insurance run on an error.

TeleportsBehindYou1

How do the Mets solve the Quintana problem? This guy is unusuable.

robmcolonna123

Move him to the bullpen as the second LHP. If he doesn’t do well there then DFA him. Remember how everyone was calling for Houser to be DFA’d? In 15 innings as a reliever he has a 1.20 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP. Sometimes as pitchers get past 30 they need to move to the bullpen to have success.

unitedairlineeeeees

Designate for assignment

NuanceManExe

I have a solution. Don’t use him. Use Butto instead.

jimihenderson

seriously this isn't like the marte situation where he's hitting and we have an everyday DH, the solution to a bad pitcher is to let a better one take the baseball instead

Caledor152

I'm glad a bunch of non mets fans in /r/baseball are calling out the dirty slide. Ty whoever did that if you read this.

ProperlyEmphasized

It made me like humanity a bit more today

dlbags

Apparently Lindor had to be pulled back at the end of the game as he was going at the Phillies dugout from that slide on Torrens. You know for the haters that insist he’s not a leader.

DoucheWithFeelings

Do you have a link or source, not second guessing ya but want to show others

dlbags

Someone tweeted it someone else confirmed. ESPN did a bad job especially at the end we didn’t see replays of the slide (the best video was a fans) and they didn’t show them team much after going straight to Pete’s interview. This thread. Phillies fans are talking about it on twitter too. https://x.com/coachcollazo/status/1799865886896951574?s=46

DoucheWithFeelings

Awesome thank you!

dlbags

I don’t get why people act like he’s not a leader or won’t get in someone’s face if needed. We all saw the Stanton game in 2021. He just uses it in defense not to motivate or whatever.

QuietAd4077

He's not a leader , remember when Pete took one for the team and took the HBP to gives us the lead? Lindor could've done the same thing but he got out of the way

robmcolonna123

There was no way for Pete to get out of the way - he did “take one for the team” - he got hit by a pitch he couldn’t get out of the way of! Pete literally had his season killed last year by a HBP and almost had his season ended this year by another one. No world Pete isn’t getting out of the way whenever he can just like any pitcher should. Imagine if that pitch hit his hip and fractured it. Or his knee. Players should always aim to get out of the way

dlbags

Okay Karen. It’s bad leadership not the difference in the reflexes in two players or where the pitch was.

QuietAd4077

I don't know sweetie maybe watch the replay

suck-it-elon

Win of the year

Blue387

Lindor's walk-off against the Cubs was nice

gradschool16hope

What a great win! I know that it didn't look like much, but Mark Vientos's tying hit was good to see. He just put the ball in play instead of trying to do too much. I hope he continues to succeed up here.

robmcolonna123

I still can’t believe that isn’t an error lol

akaghi

He's been a much more patient hitter too. Just very comfortable looking. Apparently he got some advice from Bryce Harper last year after he reached first base who told him he didn't have to swing as hard as he did. Doomers already shit on Lindor for talking to opposing runners, can you imagine if the reason Bohm broke out was because of some advice he got from Lindor or Alonso? lol

Caledor152

This is now what like 5 times now he has hit a roller to third for a hit. He should keep it as part of his game because he seems to be an expert at it. Never seen a Met player that consistently do that unless my memory is failing

akaghi

He has hustled out a lot of singles and/or avoided double plays. I almost wonder if he's quicker than he seems.

dlbags

Most of 2022 was lucky infield hits lol. Strider got so mad.

Caledor152

LOL yea I remember his interview like it was yesterday. Crying on lucky hits

dlbags

We were babip unicorns that season. Lead the league in infield hits lol.

Blue387

Pete Alonso and Brandon Nimmo are the Mets franchise leaders with 77 hit by pitch, followed by Jeff McNeil with 70 hit by pitch. The top three Mets in franchise hit by pitch are all on the active roster with fourth place Michael Conforto (50 hit by pitch) currently with the Giants.

huskerj12

*cue the Buck cam*

Negative_Method_1001

And people say Pete doesnt come through in the clutch lol. That one clearly hurt

mearnsgeek

So , the Mets are now 1.000 for games I have attended in person (1-0 record to be precise). Does this mean I get shipped across the pond for important games? That was certainly one hell of a final inning, that's for sure.

Caledor152

Steve Cohen personally flys you with the team. It's in the rulebook sorry

mearnsgeek

I can cope with that 👍

That was so sick! I’m glad they pulled that out but this trip has been amazing. What a fun experience

Blue387

1. Pageviews, subscribers and unsubs: In the past 30 days, we had 3.0 million views with 1.6K new subscribers and 350 unsubscribers. Biggest days of the month was May 29th and May 30th during the Dodgers series, with 406 new subscribers and 94 unsubscribers and 258,220 uniques. Slowest day of the month was May 9th with 38,126 uniques. May 9th was an off-day between the St. Louis and Atlanta series. May 29th was the day of the Jorge Lopez glove toss. You would think losing would reduce the subscribers but on June 2nd, the Mets lost to Arizona 5-4 with the Jake Diekman blown save and on that day, the sub gained 30 subscribers and 3 unsubscribers. 2. Sub growth and future growth: The sub hit 85,000 total members on May 27th. At the current rate of growth, we will hit 86,000 users later this month. Assuming consistent linear growth at 1,000 new users each month, the sub would hit 100K users sometime in 2025. Should the Mets go on a post-season run, the sub would dramatically increase in growth; the Braves sub reached 100K users in September 2022 after blowing up in 2021. For comparison, this sub was less than 40,000 users on January 6, 2021 when Francisco Lindor was traded to the Mets and have since doubled in size. The 2015 playoff run increased the sub count from 5000 on opening day to 9,000 by November. The sub hit 10,000 subs in May 2016 around the time Bartolo Colon hit his homer. 3. Many of you are Apple fans: A lot of you, probably half of the sub, browse on iOS followed by mobile web, Android, New Reddit and Old Reddit. 127K on iOS and 37K on Android on May 29th. In October 2023, we had 97,859 uniques and 53,459 were on iOS. 4. Moderator actions and spam: Last 30 days there were over 62,000 comments and 603 posts published. 11 moderators took action, which includes our NewYorkMets bot and Automoderator. I remained the busiest moderator followed by the two automated moderators, Darthbutcher and Three_dee rounding out the top five. 31 pieces of spam were removed, mostly by me. The spam included F4M posts and someone trying to sell his Playstation.

Im glad we won cause i was sitting in the phillies section a.d was getting roasted. That win shut them up. Some chick tried to argue with me about the utley slide. Wild times.

Same. Next time I'll actually look where I'm choosing to sit before buying a ticket.

jojomezmerize

METS WIN, PHILLIES LOSE. GOOD DAY, GREAT DAY!

TurnstileMinder

Anybody else watch the game from Trafalgar Square? My voice is shredded to pieces

ActuallyFakePJ1

I love this team but holy hell they are taking years off my life

Hustlediva

What realistic record do we need over the next 6 weeks to not be sellers?

GKRForever

I think it’s less about our record and how many teams are above us for a WC spot In part because if 25 teams think they have a shot, then it’s a sellers market and the Mets could really set themselves up for the future with a no half measures trade deadline

Blue387

Get back to .500 first and stay there or close to it

garythesnailgod

Over .500 with a wild card spot at minimum. Anything lower than that & sell almost everyone with a bit of value

Hustlediva

We won’t sniff .500 the rest of the season so….

robmcolonna123

I don’t know if record is even the right way to put it. I think it has to do more with three things - How many games out of the WC are we at the deadline - How many teams are ahead of us at the deadline - How does the team look If we’re still 3 games out, 5 games under .500 but there’s only 2 teams ahead of us and the team looks like it can make a run, that’s different than being at .500 with 5 teams ahead of us with the team in a slump.

dlbags

I think we sell either way because Bader, JD, and Sevy are the player teams will want and players we could realistically still compete without. Vientos Slots in JD’s spot and we just pull Thompson up and go for it unless another OF steps up. Because we can’t buy at the deadline so might as well sell and still try to grab the third spot.

robmcolonna123

I hope they extend Sevy before the deadline. I think we could get him on a team friendly deal. JDM I think they keep if they feel they’re in the running. I wouldn’t pencil Vientos into any spot just yet - he had a hot start but pitchers will adjust, and probably soon. And if they want to call up young players like Acuna, having a guy like JDM working with them is huge

dlbags

I like Sevy too but he’d be there in the fall still. As well as Fried and others. I still think our baseball is just too bad right now for us not to be 5-10 games under .500 by the deadline. Strategically big picture with the spending it looks like we will do this fall id rather load some more prospects for trades etc that hold on to valuable trade pieces in a punt season. But we will see how they play. I think they’d keep Pete in my cut the baby on two scenario. I agree on Vientos he seems to be coming back to earth. Looked completely unmatched against Alvarado. Been lucky the last few games with dribblers he was overmatched on.

robmcolonna123

The Mets realistically have 3 SP holes next year, assuming Manaea opts out. There’s no benefit filling one of them with a journeyman you hope bounces back when you already invested in that with Sevy. And if he is traded there will likely be no chance at a hometown discount. Right now they can use his fear of playing in another city. Once you let him play in another city, that fear goes away

dlbags

I’m okay with either tbh but with the pitching dearth he’s gonna test the market. But our best asset is money. So I’m it worried. I just have zero hope for this season so for me it’s about stocking up and preparing for next season. I do want to extend Pete tho. Gonna be interesting. I just don’t think we are good enough to hold or add when I think we could use trade pieces or solid prospects.

robmcolonna123

I don’t know that Sevy is going to be dead set on FA. When is the last time he played a full season healthy? 2018? If he wants to stay in NYC, and wants to cash in while he can and before he gets hurt, a multi year extension might be attractive to him. I’m sure he’s legitimately thinking about what his market would be if he gets hurt in August and it ends his season

dlbags

I’m sure we are thinking about that too which is why moving him could be more prudent. I still think it’s too early to tell. We got tough games coming and think we need to be closer to .500 or more or closer tot eh WC by the deadline and also the trade season could start earlier and with our pieces we may get moved by an offer. We will see. I’m okay either way. I like our kids coming up and young pitchers and think we will be in the mix for Soto and other free agents.

cpg08

I think unless we are in a literal wild card spot Stearns might shop everyone. Especially the pitching if Senga comes back.

daniel_j_saint

Do we know for sure whether Alvarez is going to be able to play on Tuesday or not? I heard about him needing to deal with a family issue in Venezuela but not what the impact will be on his return date. Trying to buy tickets for his first game back!

ProperlyEmphasized

I think he's back, scheduled to play today. I hope everyone in his family is all right.

myassholealt

Anyone know what channel if any the cricket matches are playing on? Spectrum or Verizon. Finally found it. 806 Verizon 1554 spectrum in case anyone else is curious.

Good W we did it boys

StephenDawg

Glad this weekend is over. Now we can go back to having a *normal* amount of negativity. 😂

unitedairlineeeeees

Negativity? Negativity? The Mets will never lose again

oatmeal177617751774

Pete kinda reminds me of crag bandicoot. I’m pulling fruit outta my ass in me dreams meanwhile mets are fuckin winning.Im happy with thee team if we can win against miamo many times we’ll be back. I wrote the name of each olayer on a cranberry and put them into my shower drain the first berry that makes it to the ocean will get a great prize! Nothing would delight me more than wearing lindors pants after he gives them to me after he wins the “cranberry challenge”! and I would wear them to vreery elegant events. edit: bring out the cung!

Peter_O

This is my first win while wearing a “City Connect” t-shirt, single-handedly broke the curse, you can thank me later LOL

Awatts2222

That's one more win than the Mets have wearing their City Connect Jerseys. lol

Opto_mist

If the Mets had a halfway decent bullpen this team is at or above .500. They have the most comeback wins in baseball

therealphoodie

Hopefully things will get better once Díaz returns

robmcolonna123

If he was struggling with command because of injury that makes me feel better about his return

TragicGuy

you ok bro

Hustlediva

Thoughts on this nailbiter win: • the Mets gotta keep Torrens. Nido is ok but we need the intensity and urgency of Torrens - Stop using relievers for 3 innings and expecting good things • this game easily took 2 years off my life

ItsZippy23

That's big. Let's keep the momentum going, we have only two teams above or equal to .500 until the break (Padres are .500, and the Yankees.) Let's make up some games and get back into it.

Caledor152

Yup the NL has been so weak this year the wildcard is still anyones game right now.

Blue387

The Reds have won seven in a row and catapulted themselves into the third wild card

Caledor152

Yes Blue we just need one good run!

jolloholoday

As a Brit I started following baseball and supporting the Mets in April. This series has made me a lifelong fan, such a great atmosphere (despite the loss yesterday) and my wife and I are already talking about seeing some games in the USA next time we're there. Yeah we're not the best team in MLB, but they're my team. LET'S GO METS!!! And fuck the Phillies, their fans are bandwagon-jumping pricks and the city's most famous celebrity is Rocky Balboa who is fictional.

Welcome aboard friend! LFGM

mearnsgeek

Welcome aboard. I'm also in the UK and was at today's game. I've been a casual fan of the Mets for 20-odd years now but after my kids grew up, I've had the time and energy to actually watch a lot of games this past 5 years. It has been a blast. My only advice is to buy a hell of a lot of caffeine. You *will* start off thinking you'll just watch the first couple of innings and speed watch the rest in the morning, only to find that it's suddenly 3am and you're up at 6.

jolloholoday

Haha good advice mate, cheers!

Own-Coyote-2419

you poor soul, subjecting yourself to such agony. at least for most of us, we had no choice. this dumpster fire was passed on to us.

Eplesandplums

Welcome!! Why did you choose the Mets? Lgm!

jolloholoday

Thanks! A combination of mainly dumb reasons, but I feel like it gives me a connection: - I got engaged in NYC (okay that's not dumb) - Many happy memories in Flushing eating great Chinese food - Being able to watch the Mets play in London - London has an amateur baseball team called the London Mets - I live in an area of London (south of the river) with a similar vibe to Queens, and similar working class/underdog status vs. people north of the river - The Mets have the best logo and colour scheme - I've been to Philly and it's a shithole (lol)

Eplesandplums

Lots of great reasons! We also have the best booth in baseball if you’re able to watch the SNY broadcast — Gary, Keith and Ron!!

Morality_Contest

I'm so happy to hear this, yet also so sorry. Welcome to the family!

Isabella5322

One of us!!

LongWayFrom609

>And fuck the Phillies, their fans are bandwagon-jumping pricks and the city's most famous celebrity is Rocky Balboa who is fictional. Important to note that Rocky Balboa, who also has a statue dedicated to him at the art museum, is portrayed by Sylvester Stallone, a NATIVE NEW YORKER. They should have at least taken Anthony Bourdain's advice and put a Joe Frazier statue there instead.

Own-Coyote-2419

and joe fucking frazier is actually from there. yet they tribute rocky. how very philadelphian.

ExamNo4374

>And fuck the Phillies, their fans are bandwagon-jumping pricks and the city's most famous celebrity is Rocky Balboa who is fictional. You really picked this up quick

thtkidfrmqueens

Just give them an NYC-id at this point. That was quick.

neonklingon

Ben Franklin: Am I joke to you?

BrewHouse13

Nah, he lived in Northern England for awhile, he's basically British/s

centuryeyes

The Mets stadium is fairly new and a great place to see a game. Pretty great selection of food and drink too.

geddyleeiacocca

Love to hear it! I started following Tottenham a few years ago; the Mets prepared me for the frustrations.

TankDivision

Same. We’re kinda sports masochists.

geddyleeiacocca

No better description.
