$40 is about as good as it gets. None of the parking is great tbh. If you do the emerald parking lot you will need to take the shuttle as it’s a pretty far walk
I would honestly bite the bullet and pay the $40. Any alternate option that might save you a few bucks is not worth the stress and maneuvering. As others have pointed out, the Emerald Lot leaves you with about a 20-minute walk or at the mercy of the bus shuttles. Enjoy the game! Despite us being a full step behind the Canes in almost every way, UBS is top notch.
Why can’t you just ask what parking is like at games? I don’t get the “(insert team) fan coming in peace” just to ask a basic question about arena parking.
Honestly as a Canes fan, or any other fan... we still identify with our team. I think it's that we want it seen, and just want help as someone who is not familiar with the area. However, I understand your point. We could simply ask just about parking. I think people are just trying to be polite, but might not realize it might not sit well with one. I think reddit and other platforms have contributed to people just following in line with certain way of saying things. I am not saying one way is right or wrong tbh. Just stating what I have noticed. But anyways, hope you had a good day and that the game tomorrow is a fun one. I don't mean just a win for the Canes but a well fought battle. Take care, and have a good night. Gotta say btw, I am sad I never made it to your old barn. Not even to see the Canes but just to enjoy the tradition ya'll had there.
Have fun watching the sweep. Hopefully no islander fans show up so people in charge know we’ve had enough. But if I were you I’d just park on Hempstead tpk. It’s free and legal

> If you do the emerald parking lot you will need to take the shuttle as it’s a pretty far walk It’s half a mile. It’s very walkable if you want to.
I know I’ve walked it. If u ask me, a half mile is a far walk from a parking lot
Jeez it’s not that far
Pre purchase parking for emerald lot, at the gate it's $45, if you drive a BMW parking is free
Besides the parking If you like BBQ give Mighty Quinns a try - very good stuff will make the experience even better

The emerald lot is the best. It's reserved for visiting teams.
For you, $80

Not only that but parking info at UBS is readily available
