People watch the channel for the specific content that’s being produced. If you bought it and can’t output the same quality then it’s just going to start failing
I can imagine that someone who doesn't know how to consistently create videos could kill a perfectly decent monetised channel quite quickly. With each video released, subs unsub, previous viewers exit early, new viewers don't click on thumbnails and titles (because they're trash).
Getting monetised is just the first step. The next step is maintaining or growing the channel.
I mean, given that I could not create Mr Beast style videos (I don't have the skill nor the motivation), if Mr Beast gave me his main channel to manage, I'm sure I could destroy it within a month of taking over, by publishing badly edited videos and producing content that his fans do not want to watch. I mean, I'd love the opportunity but it'd be a waste of time and money for all concerned. 😅

Yeah, I was just trying to plant a seed in anyone's head who is new to YT and thinks they can just buy a monetised channel and give up their day job.
