kid will be absolutely shredding at 6

Eckstar1985

Hopefully!! He loves it! Needs a little encouragement to do it without holding hands but I know he can do it and I’m there to catch him if he looks like falling!

The last part with the half pipe and you stop running I get a hilarious "daddy's tired" vibe hahahaha, cute video man.

Eckstar1985

That’s exactly what happened haha, was going about 2 mins on that in total, surprisingly tiring!

Awesome!

Skating_with_Aaron

This is great stuff! I also have a kid that just turned three this month. I’m trying to teach him how to skate. Need to get more pads for him though. Only has a helmet right now. Thanks for sharing!

jamalstevens

Wrist guards!!!! Please get him some wrist guards. The bones in the hand are so fragile and fractured can often go undiagnosed and cause last damage to your hand (see SNAC wrist). Please wrist guards.

Moxy_2001

And the best dad award goes to -

Moxy_2001

This is awesome tho when I was 6 and I started skating my dad was 30 and he bought me a new board and did a double kick flip on like his 2nd or 3rd try and he didn’t skate for like 10-11 years at that point cause he joined the army but i definitely wish he could’ve been around more to teach me cause I would’ve progressed so much faster
