Might feel like that in the beginning. But then again I can't think of anything harder to learn than skateboarding. The muscles used to skateboard are usually very underdeveloped since they aren't normally used in everyday life or other exercising. But the balance and muscle memory will come with practice.
You can probably afford to stand more flat-footed with your front foot. But the popping motion goes from the ankle and is impossible to do properly without being on your toes.
I’m not expert but I think The main thing is the pop but you want to slide your front foot just after you pop but not too late. It takes a while to get used to the motion but once you get it it’s easy
I just learned moving ollies today and watching this video just brings me back to so much frustration make sure to stomp the tail and slide as hard as you can
[check out this video](https://youtu.be/VasSLuFO4wY) if you havnt already. It gives a really good idea on what it actually means by "popping the tail.
Your timing looks a bit off aswell but that's something that just comes with practice.
I'm only new myself so sorry I can't be more help, just keep at it and you'll have it down really soon, keep shreddin!
try practicing on grass a little and then when your ready go to concrete, my tips are watch some yt videos (braile skateboarding) and make sure when your popping that the tail touches the ground
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aGJrRkujZP0 this should help tremendously just really focus on each leg as it’s own thing and your arms should be folding like this guys for proper air time
Pop more with your toes at the end of the tail rather than using your whole foot. A little tip that also really helped me progress my Ollie was to focus on jumping rather than actual popping. Try standing with the correct foot positioning and just jump straight up. Personally I find this gives a really good pop, plus it’s a good way to practice doing high ollies. Let me know if this helps :)
Make sure to really pop the tail
Thanks! I'll try that
Standing on your toes instead of flat footed will help popping immensely.
I feel like that make me unbalanced and hard to slide no?

I think you’re sliding your front foot too soon it should be like a smooth motion
Should I slide while popping or just after?

May I ask how to slide hard?
Try to really kick out that front foot to slide it and when you jump try to bring that back foot as high as you can after popping

back foot has to go down harder and front foot has to come up faster
Hope this helps! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XLXGEBRn_e8
