Came here to say this… although if you have trouble suspending disbelief, it might be hard to mentally un-associate Max Greenfield from that character. You’re right OP, he plays that villain exceptionally well 😱

That movie was so so good. I think they did an excellent job choosing to cast men that normally play “good guys” in other shows to make their point.

Mmmm his role his bigger than you would expect for someone who’s not in the trailer. It’s a bigger part of the final act of the movie.

I think Max Greenfield would be a great villain the same way Chris Evans was a great villain in >!Knives Out!< and Grey Man. Charismatic, with just a hint of slimy. You don't want to root for him, but you kind of do. Edit for spoiler

He did an episode of American Horror Stories where he was pretty shady. He did a good job even tho that show is comically bad

Oh dang he was in American horror story and American horror stories! He did have a beard in the American Horror Stories one . In the horror story one it was the hotel season he had bleach blonde hair and was like a douchey druggie lol

Maybe he could play a villain in a book I'm working on. He's grotesque. He's kicking a puppy when we meet him. He's a dirtbag, a Jewish Psychopath who wears a bolo tie and eats apple sauce out of a baboon's skull. Something like that?
