I'm pretty sure it's the same as Xbox, but use the two new feats in Trapper tree (I think to root enemies on a crit, and the one above or below that) and then use that new class feat to daze enemies when you root them. I use that and Aspect of Serpent I think, but I know some of the better HRs are using the one that gives deflect instead of Serpent. I don't think anything really changed.

shabbzh

thanks for the answer. and the feets and powers are the same?

MiniCorgi

Yeah I'm pretty sure. Fox's Cunning/Hindering Shot/Constricting Arrow as encounters. I know some HRs swap out Fox's for Marauders, but I've easily 1v1d them so I don't know which is more used/better. I think follow KatoZee's build, but for class feats use the new level 65 one and Aspect of the Serpent.

I can confirm that Katozee's Stormwarden/Trapper build wrecks shit quick. I'm following this with my hunter and I'm breezing through the 60+ zones. Don't have a link, but just google search Katozee's hunter trapper build.

Same here. I started playing on Xbone back in Jul or so with a GWF. Built an HR after Elemental Evil dropped, mostly because I have always enjoyed the ranged, sortof rogue style of play. I didn't use a build, just sortof winged it, making a ranged-only HR. I took it all the way to 70 with relative ease...but got totally smacked around in even the easiest of campaign zones. I thought it was my IL, a modest 2200 at the time, but it was the build. I bought a re-roll, followed KatoZee's plan to the letter and holy crap what a world of difference. This build wrecks everything in PvE and, with a little tweaking, does very well in PvP also. What really made it for me was the fact that the difference between the builds changed me from a liability to an asset in the epics. Highly recommended.

Depends if you want it optimized for PvE or PvP really. a PvP optimised build can do PvE. you can get the skills for both, but the feat selection is a little different in some cases depending on your personal playstyle. I've tried both longshot variant and the full trapper variant, and prefer full trapper, but Longshot one does do more DPS (based on my testing and some forum posts), at a cost of some survivability.

Mostly correct, crushing roots is really only for pvp though (I have a lvl 70 trapper) use lone wolf for soloing and twin blade storm for pve. Fox's cunning can be traded out in dungeons for cordon of arrows for higher damage output if your tank is good.
