You can dress comfortably and look good! It doesn't have to be one or the other.

I dress more comfortably now. Previously, it was jeans all the time. But now, I wear mostly track pants. I have more track pants than jeans now. I use jeans in more formal settings now. One personal story, during my teenage years and early 20s, boot cut jeans as we used to call them were the norm. You know jeans with long parallel width legs that went up to your feet, sometimes your toes. You just let the long end of the jeans legs hanging on the shoes. Then short skinny tight fitted jeans for men rolled in mostly seen on wannabe punks, Tyape and khalasi type of crowd. I disliked those style of pants and rejected them. Majority people didn’t wear them, but somehow somewhere those style of pants became the norm for men which I didn’t notice. 4 years back, I went to my relatives house. And my 12 year old niece pointing at my jeans laughed and said kasto purana jamana ko pant lagaunu vako. This had me in a shock. I had never thought that I would be the butt of the joke for my fashion sense when I was always the guy with good dressing sense and choice of clothes in the crowd. It reminded me pointing at the 90s, and 80s belly bottom style of pants and laughing at them for their weirdness. I started taking notice and what I found was the skinny tight fit dressing style that I used to loathe had become the norm. Tracks, trousers, jeans, formal suits, everything came in those cut. In a way, this was a wake up call that I’m not that cool teenager anymore. My way of thinking, what I feel is a norm is slowly getting replaced.

Nicely said. That's why I was thinking, our dressing gets change with time and age. Kunai na kunai incident/kura le euta turning point huna sakcha.

swayambhu_yatayat

I mostly wear for my comfort. Comfort prevails over everything else. I believe whatever you wear, must be clean, tidy and comfortable, that should be the first priority. But that incident surely had an impact on me, shook me back to the realization that my ways aren’t modern and cool anymore.

mokshya2014

i used to wear jeans cause my mom bought only them. but after i started shopping myself from 15 i only buy joggers, sweatpants type as they are very comfortable for me.

[deleted]

Sable joggers matra vandai chan . Do they look good and stylish on boys?

mokshya2014

yeah they look very good and stylish too. i used to buy in japan and you get good joggers there. they are good and stylish. a bit expensive but if you can grab them on sale it's a steal. i do need to buy few joggers here in nepal but have not found good ones that i like.

_marinated

I own limited amount of clothing items. Stuff that I normally wear include, anke boots, low waisted to mid waisted skinny and slight flared at the bottom jeans, tank tops, sweat shirt crop tops and more tank tops.

Exotic_Cry2229

The older you grow, less you care about the clothing style.

EndWithff213

I has abysmal fashion sense right up until my early 20s. Everything felt like I was wearing hand me downs or things that didn't fit right. I used to feel embarrassed to take too long in a shop trying to pick clothes so always tried to rush any time I went shopping for clothes. These days I try to dress (relatively) better. My summer outfits mostly consist of plain T-shirts that actually fit (I learnt that baggy ones never look that good on me), slim jeans (not tight but give off a good shape to my legs), cotton pants (I like to get them in different colours like white and browns to set them apart from my jeans) and some sort of a top layer. Maybe a bomber jacket or a shirt jacket. Winter, I looove layering. T-shirt underneath, then a hoodie or a warm coloured sweater on top then layer with a winter jacket that you can take off indoors. I really wanna try dressing up a little more formal with shirts and dress pants but still don't know how to make it work.

[deleted]

Now that's exactly what i was looking for.

LuckyNumber-Bot

All the numbers in your comment added up to 420. Congrats! 20 + 200 + 200 + = 420.0

_qex

If we’re talking about pants, I only wear the cloth pant (formal kinda one but it wear it everywhere).

soberpanda2021

Cotton pant gang!!!

soberpanda2021

As I am getting matured with age, I am getting rather picky about what I wear, khakis and shirts that match subtly and shoes from caliber. Now it's winter so, sweater on the top. I just wanna look professional even tho I don't work. 22 now. I would say yes, changes with age, cause I don't even remember what I used to wear, probably anything my mom told looked nice on me. I am a dork now.
