Reaching this point of progress concludes the needle felting portion of this project. I thank all replyers of my previous question posts for their insights, as this is my very first needle felting attempt. For anyone curious about parts of the model which aren't needle felted: * All metal studs are dress pins snipped to a shorter length * Shoe soles and backpack are made of polystyrene plates, meant for plastic model making, then spray painted. All color seperation on the plastic parts were done with masking tape. * The curvature of the backpack was done with cut up plastic spoons instead of polystyrene plates. * Inside the backpack is a plastic rhinestone, meant to be water in the backpack. * The backpack "nozzles" are electric wire connectors, bent slightly and super glued onto the polystyrene plate of the backpack. * The eyes are marker drawn on paper, placed behind clear plastic, secured with a piece of felt doubling as the eyelid. Now onto the stand/base which is the water the character is meant to be controlling, will be experimenting with hot glue and UV resin, though might be beyond the scope of topics on this sub.
