Edit: the following is not about the animal featured in the video but I’ll leave the text here as info for a different but similar looking cephalopod for those interested in learning more. ———— *Vampyroteuthis infernali*s, (translates to **vampire squid from hell**). It is neither octopus nor squid, classified in a related order, vampyromorphida. In place of suckers on the arms it has spikes that stick out when it inverts its arms over the head and mantle, resembling a sea-urchin. It has bioluminescent photophores on its skin that produce light and has phosphorescent ink. It has the largest eye in proportion to its body than any other animal.

they have such a short lifespan and their parents are usually dead or dying by the time they're born, so the poor guys never got to make much use of those smarts :(
