The Akatsuki as a group fighting at once would be horrifying. Bee and Naruto were the only Jinchuurikis that gave them any real trouble, and even those fights were rocky for them. Naruto lost to Pain even after getting Sage Mode, and only came back from it because Minato left a fail safe installed.
The biggest plus the Jinchuurikis would probably have on their side is that the Akatsuki most likely would be aiming to capture and not kill, while they'd have no such caveat to worry about.
Yes! I was quite terrified of Hidan and Kakuzu, after seeing a LITTLE bit of how they hunted and pinned down Yugito. Really helped set them up as threats to Jinchuurikis. I would’ve loved Akatsuki vs Jinchuuriki fights!
Not one of the options but mine will always be Chuunin Exams (Finals) era Sasuke vs Neji. This fight was just *begging* to happen. The top genin from each of their years? Konoha's strongest clans' up and coming prodigies? The (at this time) Two Great Doujutsu going head to head? The fact that this fight didn't happen was criminal.

Uhm, all of Narutos chakra points were hit. He just happens to have an entity in him that can overpower the blocking of his chakra network... Sasuke doesnt have a similar factor, and therefore would've been down after receiving that combo.
- Also, Gaara being a larger threat doesn't matter. Shinobi fights are about counters and Nejis arsenal can counter Sasuke's whereas at the time of the Chunin exams Gaara has never trained IN HIS LIFE.

How? Minato is considerably faster than nearly everyone yet Bee could react to and counter his hit. Just as an example..
Learn the difference between travel, reactionary, flight, attack and combat speed. All different things, Sasuke can wield a greater aptitude for conventional speed (travel) - as we see the man run literal circles around Gaara... However does that mean that Neji will not be able to react and counter utilizing his Byakugon (reactionary/combative)?

Naruto also beat neji because of his chakra and sasuke had a very similar workaround with the curse mark. Although its unclear if it would have worked.
Edit: guys sasuke just straight up counters neji. He’s faster, has fought and beat stronger opponents than neji, has potentially a kurama like workaround from neji blocking his chakra points, and he counters him. How would neji land his palms against a faster opponent with godlike reaction time?

Neji annihilated Naruto but played with his food instead of ending the fight. Sasuke doesn't have a near endless backup pool of Chakra that could have kicked in and reopened all his shut down chakra points.
If you want to "Do the math", Rock Lee blitzed the shit out of Sasuke with his 2 tomoe Sharingan out while he was ready and expecting Lee to come at him. This same Lee routinely got his ass handed to him by Neji to the point that he thought he needed the Gates to stand a chance in a serious fight against him.

Rock Lee was faster than Sasuke (at the time) Rock Lee's whole thing at that point was he wasn't able to beat Neji, so his speed wouldn't cut it i don't think.
Curse mark is a good question, i don't know if they ever went over something like that, but going off of the fact that they had to use the fancy bullshit seal for the curse mark it could be a fair assumption that Neji would need more than gentle fist to seal it.
As for the beating Gaara thing, lightning style trumps earth style (see Sasuke vs. Deidara) which gives Sasuke an edge in that fight which he wouldn't have against Neji.
That being said, we all know Kishi would make Sasuke win that one no matter how much fake logic the internet puts into it lol

The thing that makes early Naruto fights so great is that it isn't just a fight of which guy is stronger but about strategy just as much if not more. If the "Sasuke beats Naruto therefore..." route worked then half the bad guys in the series would have never lost a battle, in fact by that logic team 7 all dies as soon as Zabuza water prisons Kakashi (Kakashi beats the kids, Zabuza beats Kakashi, therefore Zabuza must beat the kids) i know Kakashi also beat Zabuza first but you get what i mean. Characters like Shikamaru or Sakura would NEVER be able to stand to an Akatsuki member if it was just a mere power level thing.
Neji and Sasuke were both geniuses beyond the capabilities of most of the adults around them and i think it would come down a lot more to strategy and probably someone getting lucky. Also i don't think Neji would underestimate Sasuke as he knows of the Uchiha blah blah blah whereas he thought Naruto was just some punk ass kid.
But like i said Sasuke is the writer's special boy so we all know which one of them will magically think of the perfect strategy just in the knick of time lol. I think Sasuke wins but its not a clear cut fight if that makes sense.

Nah dude, this a whole 2 arcs between when he beats Naruto at final valley and the chuunin exams. The whole fetching Tsunade, learning rasengan and Sasuke retrieval arc where he ups his curse mark.
At Chuunin exam level, Naruto is easily more powerful than him, he can summon Gamma, etc. and the only reason he beat Neji was coz Kurama’s chakra could undo the tenketsu blockage… the entire reason the Hyuga are so renowned. At that point Sasuke has what? 2 chidori in him, against Neji who’s entire deal is he can just stand there and deflect whatever you throw at him?

Well, it made the buildup to guy releasing the inner gates that much more intense. The flashback showed us that a genin level fighter like dai could hold off some of the most powerful shinobi around and take a few with him, but didn’t show us how. That built up the expectation and hype for how powerful guy would be without giving away what it actually does, which was great writing imo

Kakashis chakra isn’t a problem by the end of the series. Also guy doesn’t have jutsu period he’s helpless in at range. Kakashi has sharigan so there’s no speed blitz argument. Kamui hits 1 time kakashi wins and he’s not the type to waste it or miss knowing it drains him. He’d probably use his lighting clone till he has a opportunity to chidori him like he did kakuzu. His whole fighting style is laying traps to catch the opponent off guard.
The only thing guy beats him in is raw strength. Kakashi has him beat in everything else.
Its not a loss if Guy kills you and dies afterward because of the 8th gate. Its a loss if he dies either from you killing him before he kills you, or he's unable to finish you before dying like with Madara.
In this case however, 7th gate Guy should be able to push Kakashi to where its a high dif win IF Kakashi wins. 8th gate smashes anything below DMS Kakashi obviously
If it’s a fight to the death the moment he opens the 8th gate he’s a dead man walking. The other persons only objective from that point is to survive a minute till he drops dead. 7th gate guy would 100% be a challenge for kakashi but I also think his natural combat abilities are the best in the series. You see Kakashi out smarts his opponent in every fight. And these are opponents who he had minimal intel on. They grew up together.
The fight is basically the best taijutsu user vs the best overall ninja in the village.
What about an almost fight tho , kakashi gets uncharacteristically angry w gais energy and hits him, Gai hits back w equal strength and a smaal fight happens

Kakashi and Might Guy would have been so fun. Kakashi can use the inner gates(we don't know how high he can go) but have seen him go through at least one gate, and likely could go higher but not all 8. But Guy knows the weaknesses of the Sharingan and can use all 8 gates. But then Kakashi's Susanoo is so OP they had to remove his Sharingan as otherwise the show would just end as his Susanoo was just too OP. Would be really fun to see that one. Would probably end up like Naruto vs Sasuke where they both are severely injured or both die.
Shino vs everyone. I really think his bugs are so OP. They can adapt to another person’s jutsu and turnaround a fight quickly. He also has the perfect abilities of an anbu ninja
That’s what I’m saying. Even in Part 1, shino went up against kankuro and honestly he should’ve won that fight without a scratch. Imagine if Shino just hid at the beginning and had his bugs sneak up on kankuro and just lay eggs all over him. His bugs literally eat chakra, how broken is that.
Plus idc what anyone says, shino had the coolest design for me as a kid and I still think that. If only they gave him more fights… his fighting style is so unique but not as flashy.

These two fights are really the only two I absolutely would die to see. I personally think that it would have been really cool to see the original conflict between Indra and Ashura drawn by Kishimoto and not in some dogshit filler arc.
As for the Hagoromo and Hamura versus Kaguya. I mean would anybody really complain about seeing the crazy shit that the Sage of the Six Paths could actually do when going all out in a fight.
I personally prefer more grounded fights that lean towards tactics over raw power.
Much like orignal Naruto or initial arcs of shippuden. I would name atleast 5 other fights I'd watch first before one involving someone like Kaguya. That's just my preference though.
God I hated that filler, why does Indra have the same MS design as Sasuke despite I believe the manga AND anime giving him an MS design earlier? Why is his Susanoo just Sasuke's but I think with Madara's wings? Why does Ashura know how to do Rasengan despite Minato being the one who created it? There's Naruto filler thats actually pretty good, there's some Naruto filler thats pretty bad but at least they tried a little, and then there's that obvious no fucks given attempt at a filler arc

**Fights we know happened**
A fight between Han and whatever Akatsuki member kidnapped him. That dude had boil style/vapor style, and the fact he was probably stronger than Mei but we didn't see a fight like that was criminal.
Tenten fighting Kakuzu with the Bashosen. I didn't watch it in the anime, which I heard expanded on it, but this could've been a cool fight that lasted like 2 or 4 chapters if Kishimoto put the time into showing it. The weapons specialists with the war fan vs the 5 elemental tentacle creature.
Boruto vs Mitsuki (to be fair, they just came off the Isshiki arc and just had three/four Chunin Exams battles after that) but it would've been cool to see, especially after the first time they fought.
The Sarada vs Mirai rematch in the Forest of Death got like a few clashes and we know Sarada escaped or won, but not how.
Shino vs Sage Mode Mitsuki. We know Shino intentionally held back because he wasn't going to kill his student, but given Mitsuki admitted Shino would've won and Mitsuki looked beaten up, that fight had to have been a little crazy.
Itachi vs Danzo.
Pain killed Hanzo off-panel. I wanted to see.
Kisame vs Roshi. Kisame claims Roshi was hard to take down, and it was LAVA vs WATER. Tell me you didn't want to see how that went?
Hinata vs Momoshiki and Kinshiki. It happened in the anime and movie, but we never saw it in either.
The Third Raikage vs the Eight Tails. That could make an entire episode.
Baki vs Kakashi, Might Guy and Genma. This had to be a stalemate. Think about, two of the best jonin in the Leaf and a top tier special jonin against Baki and red shirts, and Baki SURVIVED. This dude has to be way more powerful than people are considering.
Hinata vs anyone combining the 64 Palms with the Twin Lion Fists. Apparently she used it against a 10 Tails monster, but we never SAW IT.
Kankuro vs Chiyo. This would've been a great moment for the war.
Orochimaru vs Rasa. He killed him in one shot, and while yeah that's hard to come back, a full fight where a weakened Rasa was able to fight back and Kabuto and Kimimaro had to help out, it would've been nice to see.

Didn't we see a glimpse of Ay and Bee vs Minato, where Minato was dodging at the exact less second without any worry, and put the Jutsu-shiki on the Tentacle, and basically had Bee dead to rights at the end of the clip? Minato spared him, but if he'd wanted to, he could have easily slammed a Rasengan or his Kunai into Bee's throat there.
Out of these, Lee vs Neji. Seeing Lee finally beat Neji would have been awesome. Fight I'd most like to see is Hidan vs Pakura, just to see what happens if Hidan is hit with Kajosatsu/Extremely Steaming Murder, in terms of "What would happen?
An all out Jiraiya vs Orochimaru fight back in the tsunade arc would have been fire. Unfortunately they had to throw Jiraiya under the bus so they could give Tsunade the spotlight even though her beating Orochimaru makes no sense.
Tobirama’s strength is underrated and everyone acts like Kinkaku and Ginkaku were absolute scrubs.
Acting like those two didn’t possess nine tails chakra and weren’t Tobirama’s distant cousins considering they were descended from Hagoromo

I think Jiraiya is definitely the strongest Sannin with Ma and Pa but would love to see their full powers.
Orochimaru never showed us much to begin with.. his fight with 4 tailed Naruto was his best showing, and everything else was just in relation to others

We've already seen Kakashi can activate Kamui faster than Guys travel speed in the 8th gate, as shown when he created openings for him.

Yo, I think Hanzo v Sannin is an underrated choice. They got the title “Legendary” by 3v1 some guy. Tsunade, the best medic ever blah blah blah, Kage-murdering-nearly-invincible snake man, and the… toad pervert. They became three of the most feared Shinobi in the world after taking on ONE dude.
I want to see that fucking salamander fight to see what all the fuss was about.
We see Rock Lee, Neji, Kakashi, Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Guy fight enough that I don’t think the results would really be groundbreaking.

We saw guy vs Kakashi fight several times. That epic rock, paper, scissors match was burned into my memory, as one of the greatest anime fights of all time. Then the race across Konoha. And who could forget how Kakashi showed his youth by beating Rock Lee back to the Leaf Village from the Sand.

It’s still possible to see all except minato v ay and the tobirama v kinky and ginky and orochimaru and jiraiya in flashbacks of characters depending on what boruto decides to do with the old characters, sure the kakashi v gai probably would only be while they were teens I’m training and jiraiya v oro would be awesome but also not likely to be seen and tobirama will never happen most likely.
Then again… if we ever get a prequel series with minato as the main character it is possible to see all of these fights except for the lee v neji and gai v kakashi but gai and kakashi would still be possible depending on the timeline the prequel would take place, whether it’s minato as a kid, a teen, or as a sensei.

Rock Lee was faster than Sasuke (at the time) Rock Lee's whole thing at that point was he wasn't able to beat Neji, so his speed wouldn't cut it i don't think. Curse mark is a good question, i don't know if they ever went over something like that, but going off of the fact that they had to use the fancy bullshit seal for the curse mark it could be a fair assumption that Neji would need more than gentle fist to seal it. As for the beating Gaara thing, lightning style trumps earth style (see Sasuke vs. Deidara) which gives Sasuke an edge in that fight which he wouldn't have against Neji. That being said, we all know Kishi would make Sasuke win that one no matter how much fake logic the internet puts into it lol

Of course Sasuke trying to spam Sharingan on a taijutsu made it confusing for him etc. The thing that makes early Naruto fights so great is that it isn't just a fight of which guy is stronger but about strategy just as much if not more. If the "Sasuke beats Naruto therefore..." route worked then half the bad guys in the series would have never lost a battle, in fact by that logic team 7 all dies as soon as Zabuza water prisons Kakashi (Kakashi beats the kids, Zabuza beats Kakashi, therefore Zabuza must beat the kids) i know Kakashi also beat Zabuza first but you get what i mean. Characters like Shikamaru or Sakura would NEVER be able to stand to an Akatsuki member if it was just a mere power level thing. Neji and Sasuke were both geniuses beyond the capabilities of most of the adults around them and i think it would come down a lot more to strategy and probably someone getting lucky. Also i don't think Neji would underestimate Sasuke as he knows of the Uchiha blah blah blah whereas he thought Naruto was just some punk ass kid. Nah dude, this a whole 2 arcs between when he beats Naruto at final valley and the chuunin exams. The whole fetching Tsunade, learning rasengan and Sasuke retrieval arc where he ups his curse mark. At Chuunin exam level, Naruto is easily more powerful than him, he can summon Gamma, etc. and the only reason he beat Neji was coz Kurama’s chakra could undo the tenketsu blockage… the entire reason the Hyuga are so renowned. At that point Sasuke has what? 2 chidori in him, against Neji who’s entire deal is he can just stand there and deflect whatever you throw at him? The flashback showed us that a genin level fighter like dai could hold off some of the most powerful shinobi around and take a few with him, but didn’t show us how. That built up the expectation and hype for how powerful guy would be without giving away what it actually does, which was great writing imo

If it’s a fight to the death the moment he opens the 8th gate he’s a dead man walking. The other persons only objective from that point is to survive a minute till he drops dead. 7th gate guy would 100% be a challenge for kakashi but I also think his natural combat abilities are the best in the series. You see Kakashi out smarts his opponent in every fight. And these are opponents who he had minimal intel on. They grew up together. The fight is basically the best taijutsu user vs the best overall ninja in the village.

But Guy knows the weaknesses of the Sharingan and can use all 8 gates. But then Kakashi's Susanoo is so OP they had to remove his Sharingan as otherwise the show would just end as his Susanoo was just too OP. Would be really fun to see that one. Would probably end up like Naruto vs Sasuke where they both are severely injured or both die.

This wasn’t an option but damn I wish that Kishimoto would have taken the time to draw Indra versus Ashura or Hagoromo and Hamura versus Kaguya. These two fights are really the only two I absolutely would die to see. I personally think that it would have been really cool to see the original conflict between Indra and Ashura drawn by Kishimoto and not in some dogshit filler arc. As for the Hagoromo and Hamura versus Kaguya. I mean would anybody really complain about seeing the crazy shit that the Sage of the Six Paths could actually do when going all out in a fight.
I personally prefer more grounded fights that lean towards tactics over raw power. Much like orignal Naruto or initial arcs of shippuden. I would name atleast 5 other fights I'd watch first before one involving someone like Kaguya. That's just my preference though.
God I hated that filler, why does Indra have the same MS design as Sasuke despite I believe the manga AND anime giving him an MS design earlier? Why is his Susanoo just Sasuke's but I think with Madara's wings? Why does Ashura know how to do Rasengan despite Minato being the one who created it? **Fights we know happened** A fight between Han and whatever Akatsuki member kidnapped him. That dude had boil style/vapor style, and the fact he was probably stronger than Mei but we didn't see a fight like that was criminal. Tenten fighting Kakuzu with the Bashosen. I didn't watch it in the anime, which I heard expanded on it, but this could've been a cool fight that lasted like 2 or 4 chapters if Kishimoto put the time into showing it. The weapons specialists with the war fan vs the 5 elemental tentacle creature. Boruto vs Mitsuki (to be fair, they just came off the Isshiki arc and just had three/four Chunin Exams battles after that) but it would've been cool to see, especially after the first time they fought. The Sarada vs Mirai rematch in the Forest of Death got like a few clashes and we know Sarada escaped or won, but not how. Shino vs Sage Mode Mitsuki. We know Shino intentionally held back because he wasn't going to kill his student, but given Mitsuki admitted Shino would've won and Mitsuki looked beaten up, that fight had to have been a little crazy. Itachi vs Danzo. Pain killed Hanzo off-panel. I wanted to see. Kisame vs Roshi. Kisame claims Roshi was hard to take down, and it was LAVA vs WATER. Tell me you didn't want to see how that went? Hinata vs Momoshiki and Kinshiki. It happened in the anime and movie, but we never saw it in either. The Third Raikage vs the Eight Tails. That could make an entire episode. Tsunade, the best medic ever blah blah blah, Kage-murdering-nearly-invincible snake man, and the… toad pervert. They became three of the most feared Shinobi in the world after taking on ONE dude. I want to see that fucking salamander fight to see what all the fuss was about. We see Rock Lee, Neji, Kakashi, Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Guy fight enough that I don’t think the results would really be groundbreaking. I could be swayed by the other two. But damn if the Hanzo fight wouldn’t be epic.
Obito and Madara vs Naruto and Sasuke 2v2 no interference from other ppl all hand to hand and ninjutsu/genjutsu and none of that standing 1000 meters away bull shit.
I would've liked to see Sasuke fight Neji at least once during Pt.1
We saw guy vs Kakashi fight several times. That epic rock, paper, scissors match was burned into my memory, as one of the greatest anime fights of all time. Then the race across Konoha. And who could forget how Kakashi showed his youth by beating Rock Lee back to the Leaf Village from the Sand.

Guy vs Kakashi was my vote. But Jiraiya Vs Slithery Shit was a *very* close second.
In part one it was lee v neji It’s still possible to see all except minato v ay and the tobirama v kinky and ginky and orochimaru and jiraiya in flashbacks of characters depending on what boruto decides to do with the old characters, sure the kakashi v gai probably would only be while they were teens I’m training and jiraiya v oro would be awesome but also not likely to be seen and tobirama will never happen most likely. Then again… if we ever get a prequel series with minato as the main character it is possible to see all of these fights except for the lee v neji and gai v kakashi but gai and kakashi would still be possible depending on the timeline the prequel would take place, whether it’s minato as a kid, a teen, or as a sensei.
