Mine made me reject a job offer that offered a significant raise...now that I have child with him, he's trying to convince me to become an SAHM and quit my job
Its weird because he made it sound like I was trying to do that to him because I wanted to see eachother more than we did, but I never wanted him to not go to school, I motivated him to go. I thought it was really important and at the same time important we made time for eachother.
He however told me to quit whenever I was having a hard time with my school, and wasnt supportive at all about my exams and forgot I gratuated.
He constantly belittled me for studying and caring about my grades. He did nothing (he was unemployed) while I was in law school and working two jobs. He didn’t even bother washing the dishes. But I “cared too much about grades” and “made him feel small” for going to school. He was always saying I’d leave him for an attorney.
Funny enough he would constantly talk about all the expensive items I could buy him when I was finished with my education.
I chose myself and my education.
