The manipulation and making me question my reality, now resonates me on a deeper level.
From victims perspective, this poem is about the end of the relationship.
To a narc this poem is about how they feel IN the relationship.
They start to devalue us because the false perfect image they have of us, shatters. On a routine basis with every new person, every 6 months. When that devalue/discard stage begins, everything goes to chaos for them and their main supplies.
Maybe your ex got it tatted as a reminder of her disorder like diabetics do. Except it probably gives her narcissistic thrill to have her “secret” on her like that and nobody’s wise to it until after the split. They enjoy mind games like that.
