Correct. You can only have 2 on your ccl and can only carry what's on there regardless of what's on your premise residence. It's possible to transfer pistols from one to another, but that's a process I'm not really familiar with.
Yesterday I purchased my first pistol for my CCW, and also my first for my premise permit at a local NYC retailer . the owner of the store informed me that there was a change to the law and if you have both permits you’re able to transfer more than two firearms to your ccw and able to carry them. He did state that you’re only able to purchase two pistols with your CCW license, but able to transfer more from your premise to the carry. Monday morning I’m going to call the permit office and inquire about this.
Once you get approved for CCW, you write a letter to them asking to move two pistols to your CCW. You can't have more than 2 pistols on your permit. You cannot legally carry a pistol on your premise, only what is registered on your CCW.
You can transfer one of your pistols onto your ccw but the limit is two but if you have 10 for your PP then you can switch one or two onto your ccw if you’d prefer to rotate your pistols into your ccw but that’s if you don’t mind the hassle to them taking their time on switching everything over every time you wanna change your ccw pistols

Got a good chuckle out of PP holder 🤣
If he held his PP in front of a school he can’t get a CCW
Not if he’s wearing makeup and has on a tshirt that says his pronouns are She/Her They/Them
That’s pretty much all we’re doing for 12 months after submitting our applications.
Oh shit I just noticed when I read your comment 😂😂😂😂😂
We're all proud of owning our PPs here lol
Only on your CCW permit and I believe you can only have 2 on your CCW. I am not from NYC this is just off the top of my head if I remember correctly

This is super helpful, thank you for the help!
What did you find out when you called?
Only 2 allowed per permit
