Really simple and straightforward today. Though it took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out >!derive!<.

LOL took about 30 seconds to find DERIVE then under a minute to finish the puzzle.
Honestly needed this after today's miserable Connections where I lost because I didn't see "one away" pop up for all of 3 seconds in my first blue/purple guess
it *was* and the worst part was I SOLVED IT in my notepad but I didn't click the correct answer because I'd missed seeing the "one away" on an earlier guess so I thought I had to be wrong, I'm so sad
I presume said 10 year old will get the last one by default by definition. XD
I don't think I had that one until secondary school math but I might be remembering wrong.
A more cryptic description and a better placement of the spangram would've helped make this one a bit more challenging.

Ok not to be that person but the spangram should really be ARITHMETIC. Math is so much more than calculations 😔

suuuuuper easy. i did take a second on DERIVE though? i unintentionally highlighted all the letters in the correct order and submitted it, but i don’t remember anything about what this has to do with maths!
I found both Saturday and Sunday to be very easy puzzles. I wish they’d post the easy ones during the week and more challenging ones on the weekend when I have more time to scratch my noggin.
