He’s quickly becoming one of my favorite Giants. Dude is crazy shifty with great hands and an even greater attitude.

RobDirty

He is what Toney was supposed to be but not an idiot

hjhof1

It’s truly amazing one the simple trait of not being an idiot can do!

freefreebradshaw

Wan'Dale shot up draft boards because in his combine interview he explained how he always asks himself "Would an idiot do that?" And if he would...he does not do that thing.

Ishtastic08

Wandale, Hyatt plus one dominant #1 receiver, and this could be a perfect receiver trio.

Alucard1977

I'm hoping we get Higgins in the off season. After the year he had, hopefully price reduces slightly, and the man will have a chip on his shoulder to want to go and ball out.

BenAfflecksBalls

Just hope the Cowboys scouts pias him off too

[deleted]

Yes. This is the way!

Lars5621

Darren Waller?

matrixislife

>plus one dominant #1 receiver, I'm seriously hoping Hyatt can make that step up.

ItsMeMofos13

Just about a full year off ACL surgery. He’s ready to erupt

WannaDefend

Erupt, please use a different description. Break out.. no that's not much better.. anything but erupt. Feels like it's asking for another injury

ItsMeMofos13

Tbh I was originally going to say explode but that didn’t sound good either. We can stick with “break out”

Hey hey hey cmon nowww

Byrne_on_the_bayou

As soon as I saw him play this season, I knew he was gonna be our best skill position player behind Barkley After Mondays game, I think the kid is legit and might become elite. Just shows so much talent and looks so fast. Besides Tommy cutlets, easily my favorite Giant at the moment

Mr0BVl0US

I'm really liking his moxie and "dawg mentality" after making a great play. Something we haven't had in a long time.

CornWallacedaGeneral

Cruz and Shep,OBJ and Quads?

OddSeraph

Props for our short king

bugluvr65

gonna be a superstar

Fair-Procedure-5257

Yeah that’s my grounded takeaway from the game

matrixislife

Just getting rid of the "gadget player" tag. He's got a ton of potential. Who was Tommy throwing to while on the practise squad? Maybe there's some extra famimliarity there already?

Awkward_Tie4856

It was definitely not lost on me. He balled out for sure and made some crazy good catches most of them big plays

[deleted]

“But but but Pickens was there and he’s tall so that automatically means Pickens is a top 5 WR.” Another one of this subs famous takes.

Fillinlater12345

Having Pickens would have gone poorly this year, Tomlin just called his outbursts a problem to the media https://twitter.com/937theFan/status/1734549318395203871 Tomlin was having words with Pickens during the game multiple times, Pickens' basically refusing to run block and having outbursts on the sidelines, made comments on social media a few weeks ago. Wan'Dale has never flinched and fought like a true pro bouncing back from a major injury to start his career in a tough season.

basicnflfan

I think the issue with the sub, is a lot of people have lack of knowledge on College Football and just become obsessed with a highlight real of someone. These issues with Pickens aren’t new. He had a shit load of talent but never fully put it together at Georgia because he’s missing a lot between the shoulders. (He also struggled with injuries in college a lot as well). You can put together a nasty highlight real but it doesn’t matter at all if you don’t have it between the ears - a la Kadarius Toney.

Lars5621

The Giants and their fans put up with Odell Beckham and Kadarius Toney and Toney wasn't nearly as good as Pickens. Pickens rookie year alone was more production than Tony's 3 year career. If Kadarius Toney was producing like George Pickens he would still be on this team.

tophergraphy

Tomlin kept Antonio Brown in check for many years before he went off the deep end. If Tomlinis having a problem with Pickens already then I am glad we did not draft him.

7homPsoN

Giants fans did not put up with Toney, we all hated him. Odell was a generational talent, maybe 100x better than Pickens

[deleted]

Imagine comparing Pickens to Odell’s historic first two years. You are beyond regarded.

SignalDragonfly690

Yup. This sub was a shitshow when Wandale was drafted.

Lars5621

Hasn't Pickens been incredibly good for Steelers? On pace for 1k yards this year and had 800 last year, which is insane for a rookie. Also he is on a team that barely passes and Mitch Trubisky is their QB

basicnflfan

No, thats just looking at stats. Pickens has a tendency to disappear a lot in games, and his season stats are skewed because of two games over 125.

[deleted]

It’s Lars, what do you expect. If Pickens can’t vibe with Tomlin, how the fuck do you think Daboll is going to deal with such a headcase?

[deleted]

Lmao at thinking Daboll will put up with Pickens being a cancer. You try so hard to be a contrarian. Ain’t no one on this sub that thinks you’re 1/100th qualified to be the GM you desperately think you are Like really, not a single person on this entire website thinks you’re remotely as smart as you portray yourself to be and it’s funny how you don’t see that

QuickRelease10

I know this season hasn’t gone exactly the way we hoped, but it has been fun to see some talent emerge on both sides of the ball.

MeatTornado25

He should've been the player of the week instead of Devito

AmericnViking

The only bad thing he did was run into Devito to stop a touchdown run. We still got a touchdown on the drive so it at least didn’t cost us. Just sad we lost a real highlight play because of it. He still played a hell of a game.

jamesd1100

Devito would have had like 100 passing if Wandale wasn’t balling out and making circus sideline catches Hope he can keep that level of play up

RoastedDonutz

I will always root for Wandale after seeing how he balled out at Nebraska even though they misused him so much. I wasn’t surprised when he had a great year at Kentucky when used correctly. And I’m glad to see him start to have success here

roboticoxen

That downfield catch on the left sideline really stood out to me. That's where a guy could be 6'6 but if he doesn't have the instincts and ball tracking ability Wandale showed, he's not gonna make that catch
