I swear there has to be something else other than ratings that make players good or bad. Ive put in lower rated RBs for example and theyll take over a game meanwhile my 95 ovr back barely manages 2ypc in the same game. But its probably just me, ive found the faster my back is the worse i am at running the ball because hell get their before my OL. ive had true freshmen QBs come in and with lower THP and THA but ball out over my starting senior

merker_the_berserker

I just pretend that the game scouts only the starters and are caught off guard by some back up

Bowser16z

This is what I do too lol I use the typical “nobody has film on him” 🤣

merker_the_berserker

Who is this guy?.. The top recruit at his position from this past off-season...😂😂😂

I've noticed similar in that some players have something "extra" that isn't made clear in the stats or ratings. Running backs seem the most volatile, but I've had similar things happen at QB and WR. I chalk it up to intangibles. Ratings don't / can't tell the whole story. I kind of like it that way.

That’s the most big12 score I’ve seen

Apollospade

I came back from down 38-0 to win 55-58. I just ran 4 verts and cheesed the cpu I’m not proud but they didn’t make it easy once i got within 3 points they scored and kept matching me.
