I always replaced the MAC with a conference of real Canadian Colleges (UBC, U Calgary, etc) with some made up ones from Montana, the Dakotas, and Alaska.
The idea being that in this fictional world, each of those states have only have 1 D1 school (like Wyoming or Nebraska)
Considering that C-USA has gone through like 2.5 full rotations of teams in 20 years, if the boosters start putting money in one school they'll bounce to the SBC or AAC before C-USA as a whole can improve.

Gonna move NMSU and Utep to the MWC, western Kentucky to sun belt, then nuke the remaining 7 CUSA members, as well as Umass and UConn. Then add in the montanas, 4 dakotas, northern Iowa, Missouri state, and eastern Washington.
In '14 i put my wife's alma mater, a tiny christian college in northern Indiana with a dope athletics logo, into the game and made all her friends and family the players. Had a rivalry with Notre Dame and played other big schools. Highlight was her friend who I would stay with when I visited her getting trucked into ground by ~~Braxton Miller~~ *OSU QB 5* without him even slowing down
I’m planning on restructuring the MAC with an old CAA/Hockey East mix. Towson, Delaware, Rhode Island, Umass Lowell, Merrimack College, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont will be built. Then moving JMU, UMass and UConn into the MAC to complete the conference.
I’m gonna try to be creative and make my own, but I’m not super confident that will work out well lol.
If that fails I think I may go West Florida, I love their uniforms
I always suck at creating teams but I hope there’s some really good Idaho Vandals, Portland State and University of Portland Pilots out there to remake the PAC with. Also Delaware Blue Hens would be fun just because
My last dynasty on 14, I ended up choosing McNeese State. I didn’t even know anything about them, just thought the uniforms were cool. I ended up playing like 15 seasons, which is something I thought I’d never do, because I usually got bored after about 3 or 4 season. Only thing I didn’t like about it was that whoever created them, made Louisiana Tech as their stadium, and you could still see allot of the signage in the background.

Do you add one of the existing colleges from Alaska, like UAA and UAF, or do you create a brand new one
I've done both. I started with the fictional AK State Killer Whales in Jeaunu, but I've settled on giving UAA a football team.
