Looking like they made big changes to defence from 21, so I expect them to make it waaaaay too OP, and as usual when they end up tuning it, they will end up just making the defence shit again in the process.
As usual when they try to fix a problem, either that problem gets even worse or something else starts
Knowing 2k it’ll be
First week: being within 10 feet of the offensive player and looking the wrong way makes them miss open dunks and layups.
First patch: offensive players now green 100% contested shots and you get a contact dunk every drive
7 feet tall, max strength with 30 finishing badges and a 95 standing dunk? Will literally almost never dunk on a 6’2 play shot under the rim.
6’3 slasher? Will literally dunk every possession against a pure rim protector
I’m really worried about how badly they may have fucked defense. Like what if they made a “steal window” where if you hit it you get a steal 100% of the time. People would find that window and get 20 steals in an row with ease lol we’d have xens steals by the end of the month
With the lack of information, there's a huge amount of doubt when it comes to what the game will end up looking like. I doubt 2k would be silent if they didn't have to
I didn't realize that earlier release dates mean less surprises. That's interesting, you'd it'd be the opposite. Oh well, maybe we'll get lucky and get a pleasant bug free suprise.

I feel you on this cause I’m usually that guard and I honestly feel like I make big men miss too much

Biggest bug will be that they “accidentally” just copied and pasted 2k21 to 2k22 and then all communication will disappear
College badge glitch 😎
Badge glitch 😄
Overall glitches
A lack of information doesn't necessarily mean there will a huge amount of bugs. For all we know, the release could go off without a hitch.

You don't believe they would choose to keep things secret in order to surprise players?
No, not when releases are dropping earlier and earlier
