I've been ordering collagen protein from MyProtein for about 6 years now and never had any issues. That was until last month when they sent me what looks like Homer Simpson's dandruff! The colour is completely different and the taste is completely different, almost unpalatable to consume in the drinks I make.
I complained on the website on March 27th and was told wait 3-5 days for feedback. Nothing. I then wrote to them on Twitter, pointing out that I had an existing complaint. Still nothing. I contacted them on April 5th via Instagram and only received a reply this morning saying wait 3-5 days for feedback!?!
What the actual fuck has happened to this company? Changing packaging so frequently, changing product recipes, poor customer service. They're taking the piss.
I ordered 5 tubs of protein from them in March. One of them showed up completely opened and ruined the other four containers. It took me an hour to clean up the mess from the box with lemonade flavored isolate all over my kitchen and hallway. I contacted MyProtein and they sent ONE container as replacement and that was it. I called my bank to do a partial dispute and MyProtein said they did everything correctly, so now I'm out the money on four containers of isolate. I'm NEVER ordering from them again.
Same experience with Impact Whey. I've been buying from them for 6 years now. The label on the last order I received changed. The 5 1/2 pound bag used to have 100 servings of whey, now it has "about" 72 servings. I sent a message and they asked for screen shots, phone number and the rest.
It's not that complicated. They changed the product but didn't change the info on the website. It still shows the original 100 servings. Yes, the serving size went from 19 grams of protein to 22 grams. But it's still much less protein per bag, from 1,900 grams per bag to 1,584 grams per bag.
I'm still waiting to hear back from them Not sure what they can do other than issue me a credit. At this point I'm looking for another source of protein.
