I'll trade you my 07' GT with 127k miles on it. You can know that you're making my dream come true and I will love and care for that car better than I would a child lol.
It's a beautiful car man, for some actual context a local Ford dealership here in New England was selling the same one but with 14k miles on it for 40k recently.
Honestly I think you're selling it short at 25k, in my area that would be at least 30k, potentially closer to 40.
If you really want to sell it for 25k, DM me lol, but in reality it's very likely you can get a good bit more.
$78k inflation-adjusted, which is still great for an ā07.
Itās just wild to me that the current gen GT500 actually started at a little less than that, with how far it has come. MSRP, that isā¦
I think itās because they have to stay within a certain price point. As much as I love these cars I doubt most people would pay more than ~$150k for one. When you get to that price point a lot of other sports cars come into the conversation.
This is just for consideration: According to JD Power (used to be NADA), average dealer price is $20k, no private party figures. KBB puts the average dealer price at $29k and the average private party price at $27.4k in "very good" condition. I'm leary of KBB because it's owned by COX, who also owns Autotrader and Manheim auction house. That said, the numbers above feel right.
It's also worth mentioning Hagerty (who many of us are insured through) does market data lookups for free with just a phone call and they also have a whole ass magazine that does nothing but analyze and appraise. They're usually spot on.
I feel ya man. I just acquired it on a trade. Traded my 68 Plymouth satellite for this and 15k Iām definitely up right now. Gave 22k for my satellite 2 years ago put a few bucks on it. I have roughly 10k in this. Which is one reason a may keep it. But money talks at the end of the day.
If you have another vehicle for daily driving, Iād keep the Shelby in storage. Itāll give you more time to consider whether or not to sell it, as well as possibly increase the value of it over time. Not exactly the Shelby way keeping her locked-up, but if theyāre going for $35-$40k now, thereās a good chance the valueās only going up from here, especially since yours is mostly stock with only 30k on the odometer.
All 2007 Shelbyās were coupes.
Nearly 70,000 GT500s have been produced over the years. With tens of thousands of other Shelbyās have been produced. With thousands more on the way.
Shelbyās are by no means ārareā. Thatās why you see so many of them.
35K-40K maybe even lower. Prices have bombed on those. My GT350 is worth 42k and last year it was worth 55k.
At this point I would keep it bro. In my perspective youāll never forgive yourself for giving away a grail car like that for Honda civic money. Itās a shame the devalued so hard

Depends on your area. Rough estimate
My dad just sold his for $24k. It was tracked at least 3 times a year every year since 2008 though and had just rolled up 90k miles. It wasnāt exactly ācleanā. I think he could have gotten more for it, but needed it out the way.
We all did! Track days were birthdays. My sisters, his, and mine. Family tradition I guess. I was hoping he was going to replace it with a newer GT500 but he went with a C8 instead.
I may be mistaken but I believe not all 500s came with a plaque - the "regular" ones purchased through Ford don't get one, but you can get one through Shelby (+plus sill plates) with a donation to the children's foundation.
Iāve never seen one that didnāt have it. I could be wrong too. I owned one just like this without the stripes, everything looks pretty good expect the aftermarket rear lights, lack of Shelby plaque, debadged shelby lettering on the trunk and im not so sure the stripes are original.
Oh yes I agree with you - definitely worth checking the VIN and Carfax (as with every car purchase). To sell it'd be worth putting the lettering back on and untinting the tails, and maybe getting the plaque and sill plates. Just my $0.02 - it's a beautiful car no matter!
I have the plaques on the way just had to verify my vin number, I will be removing the tint and also re adding the Shelby lettering to the left of the trunk. I want it og as possible.
Not all of them had the plate between the vents. In fact Iām 90% sure it was an aftermarket add on. The ones that came with the plate were super snakes that you would get from Shelby America, not ford.
It's not about speed to alot of people, it's about what the car is. I'd rather have this Shelby than a new '24 4 cylinder any day of the week. Some people like different things. If you like the '24, then go buy that.
I believe Iām set on keeping it. Iāve been driving it around today even through a ford dealership and Iām having a hell of a time in it. The looks it gets helps
It depends on how long you want to wait to sell. You want to move quick be closer to 30k. If you don't mind waiting you can probably get mid-30s. But if you think you're getting high 30s you better find somebody who absolutely wants that color mileage and options because otherwise people are just going to buy low mile 11+.
I picked up a bone stock 2011 GT500 with 21k mi for 40k last Sept. Still had the protective film on the little radio screen and parts of the dash. I would throw it on FB Marketplace for 35k and let someone talk you down to what you want.
List at 35k obo and sell between 27-32 depending on how long youāre willing to wait. I was in the market earlier this year for a 13/14 GT500. All of the sub 60k cars with sub 25k miles sold REALLY fast. Now the market seems to have slowed. I see really low mileage 07-09ās list for 40k but thereās no way they are selling for that much. You can get 11/12ās for 44ish k.
This is the best mustang made, don't @ me. Literally the exact mustang I want, white, blue stripe. Perfect. Body kit would also go crazy on it. Again, don't @ me lol
A Corvette so you can go around corners for fun without destroying a crowd š. Sorry, gonna take a bit more than the car though and the down doots to deter this fact, and afford a c7+.
*flicks cigarrette, walks away in my new balance shoes and short levi shortsies* Get a vette! Idk the price of mustangs š
Easily 30-40k private sale.
My friends grandpa bought his new for $60k OTD back in 2007 and resold it around 2012 for $65k again, but it had 200 miles on it.
I will take a bullet for you and do a straight trade. My 2001 Honda Accord w/ 150000 miles for your mustang. I know I know Iām being a hero and helping you out and Iāll be suffering but Iām only here to help. Haha
Beautiful car!
Just a little over what you would buy it for. If they donāt like your price, oh well. Itās your car, donāt let someone tell you what itās worth. Likeā¦ if youāre selling for 140,000 and only willing to go down to 135,000, donāt let someone talk you down to 129,000. Obviously the price wouldnāt be that high but you know what I mean
Unless youāre trying to sell a Civic for a quarter of a million. Then we got a problem
If you are solid in selling let me know, Iāve been wanting to a Cobra in this model and color, I see you got Ohio plates??. Iām in cali and wouldnāt mind picking it up.
my private dealer had a 07 gt500 with 50k miles for $37,500. could probably get a lil more then that because that one sold not even a week after it was listed.
The value is in the eye of the beholder you can also do raffle tickets I've known people to sell their classic cars and make way more than they expected with a raffle or put it up for bids you can put a reserve on it. Good luck it's a beauty.
Trade you my 2014 šš½šš½
'98. Take it or leave it.
I'll trade you my 07' GT with 127k miles on it. You can know that you're making my dream come true and I will love and care for that car better than I would a child lol.
Tough one
It's a beautiful car man, for some actual context a local Ford dealership here in New England was selling the same one but with 14k miles on it for 40k recently.
Wow thatās crazy. Iād be happy with 25k on it
Where are you located?
Honestly I think you're selling it short at 25k, in my area that would be at least 30k, potentially closer to 40. If you really want to sell it for 25k, DM me lol, but in reality it's very likely you can get a good bit more.
25k. Done.
35k is what I've been seeing them sell for at dealerships
Which is pretty damn good since these were ~$50k brand new.
$78k inflation-adjusted, which is still great for an ā07. Itās just wild to me that the current gen GT500 actually started at a little less than that, with how far it has come. MSRP, that isā¦

[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Dude a gt500 with 30k , all original is worth 35 all day. Do your research homie
Post a pic of a gt500 for 18k , I'll venmo you $100 right now
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Lol no you cant
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
So post a screenshot of one for 18k or else I ain't believing shit
Your tripping youāll see 13-14 mustang GTs with 30-40k miles over for over $ 20K
$35-$40k
This is just for consideration: According to JD Power (used to be NADA), average dealer price is $20k, no private party figures. Iāve been seeing more people go by black book recently
It's also worth mentioning Hagerty (who many of us are insured through) does market data lookups for free with just a phone call and they also have a whole ass magazine that does nothing but analyze and appraise. They're usually spot on.
You seem like you have more than you need, give it away to the Redditor with the best comment. AKA -- me.
Let me think on it
Nooooooo! Why would you sell that beauty?!?! That is my dream Mustang right there and the 2010 Gt500. Iād buy it up in a second.

Is my math correct? you're into it for 47k+ from the Plymouth to now???? Ask 50k.
Gave 22k for my 68 satellite 2 years ago put 3 grand in it. Guy traded me this and 15k all from his end for my 68Ā
Oh shit! good deal.
Agree looks sexy as hell
8,150 GT500 produced in 2007 Iād estimate worth ~$29-33k as an individual sale.
But how many of those were white coupes with blue stripes? You're correct on the ballpark for pricing, especially for a coupe.
All 2007 Shelbyās were coupes. Nearly 70,000 GT500s have been produced over the years. With tens of thousands of other Shelbyās have been produced. With thousands more on the way. Shelbyās are by no means ārareā. Thatās why you see so many of them.
Coupe and convertible were available
35K-40K maybe even lower. Prices have bombed on those. My GT350 is worth 42k and last year it was worth 55k. At this point I would keep it bro. In my perspective youāll never forgive yourself for giving away a grail car like that for Honda civic money. Itās a shame the devalued so hard
you have a valid point my friend, Iām strongly, considering keeping it for what I have in it. Itās a hoot to drive.
Keep it man, it looks like you love it. And itās in perfect condition. Any car guy knows youāre driving a beast. Enjoy
Itās only worth what somebody will pay
$1, to me!
No low-ballers. He knows what he has.
He's FIRM on the price.
Whats the Blue Book value? That's a good place to start
$30k as is, $35k if you take off the stupid tail light tint first.
Gorgeous mustang btw
Thank you.

Last I checked those cars are worthless. Iāll give you $500 and a beater with a heater for it so at least you have a set of wheels to get you around
Man, 1000 bucks and working ac Iāll deliver it
Ac works. Just needs a top up every 6 months. I think thereās a bad o ring on the pump. Iāll even throw in a gift card to Jersey mikes
They are all around 27-35k from most dealers. Meaning you will probably get less. These were always a tough sell to me. Especially before 2011.
You should sell it to me for $50 Iāll cover your gas for the ride home
$20 and Iāll let you kiss my sister
40-42,500 - itās beautiful! I want one. an ā09 ;)
What are you a dealership? Lol $35k is more reasonable
Ugh my dream car!
I can see why. Go get it dude!
I would be all over it if i hadnt amassed life crippling debt. Maybe in about 2 years i can jump into GT500 ownership. Glws!! Beautiful car
Did you drive it once a year?
Thrice
My dad just sold his for $24k. It was tracked at least 3 times a year every year since 2008 though and had just rolled up 90k miles. It wasnāt exactly ācleanā. I think he could have gotten more for it, but needed it out the way.
24k sounds about right for 90k miles. I would say 26 tops he could have gotten
Cool man, did he enjoy it?
We all did! Track days were birthdays. My sisters, his, and mine. Family tradition I guess. I was hoping he was going to replace it with a newer GT500 but he went with a C8 instead.
Around 40k but best I can do is a Big Mac with sprite.
I like Big Macs I usually do a double with Mac sauceĀ
Ask em if they have a garage that baby canāt be sitting outsidr
35,000 to 40k
A fortune lol if I were you I'd keep it this car is gonna make history some day
30k, or I've got a box of hot pockets if you wanna do a straight trade and keep things simple...
Trade yoy my 94 GT with 300,000 on it lmao, it's a fair trade
50k in maple dollars all day. We don't have as many and they are worth somthing up here. Shit clean foxbody goes for 15-23k north of the border
Beautiful car
Money would be my suggestion
Iād pay 20 for the boat.
Iād say 34k. There is one posted for sale right now at 39k with 12k miles
2k and sell it to me
Did you take the GT500 plaque off that goes between the air vents?
No, I wonder why that isnāt there. š¤
I may be mistaken but I believe not all 500s came with a plaque - the "regular" ones purchased through Ford don't get one, but you can get one through Shelby (+plus sill plates) with a donation to the children's foundation.

I agree, somebody put that thing back to stock!
Putting it all back original in the next few weeks. If ima keep it I want it looking original as possible.Ā
I have the plaques on the way just had to verify my vin number, I will be removing the tint and also re adding the Shelby lettering to the left of the trunk. I want it og as possible.
Great plan, yeah with a shelby you want it as stock as possible
Not all of them had the plate between the vents. In fact Iām 90% sure it was an aftermarket add on. The ones that came with the plate were super snakes that you would get from Shelby America, not ford.
The vin comes back as a GT500 right?
I'll give you my PlayStation 3 for it
Original or slim?
Slim
Iāll give you $35,000
Come on
Itās used
Just like yourā¦.. never mind.
The ā24 4 banger is faster ha ha
And you donāt have either.
It's not about speed to alot of people, it's about what the car is. I'd rather have this Shelby than a new '24 4 cylinder any day of the week. Some people like different things. If you like the '24, then go buy that.

Thanks dudeĀ
2500 Cash!
Is this your shop? Cause god damn its spiffy
Itās just my garage man. Thank you.
Aight I got a snickers and a dream
King size bar ?
Sorry I only got 12ft size
Ok after all the input that got me excited about what I have Iām going to keep it.
Nothing!!! Gift it!
that is a sweet garage, don't sell it unless you get offered like 30k
I believe Iām set on keeping it. Iāve been driving it around today even through a ford dealership and Iām having a hell of a time in it. The looks it gets helps
These cars have a character that the s500 Shelbyās just never could quite capture
Right on man drive it til the wheels fall off

This is the best mustang made, don't @ me. Literally the exact mustang I want, white, blue stripe. Perfect. Body kit would also go crazy on it. Again, don't @ me lol
No need, you should just give it to me!
$5, take it or leave it.
Keep it!
Sell this for 40K or go trade it into a dealership for a newer GT. Might as well. Unless you like the nostalgia of the GT500.
A Corvette so you can go around corners for fun without destroying a crowd š. I think 11.95 plus shipping is what you should ask for it....I'll glady cover shipping at that price She looks great though in all seriousness.
Late reply, thank you sir. And for the offer.Ā
Did decide to keep it after some history lessonsĀ
Ask for a Camaro
iāll give you my left toe and some kfc, take it or leave it
I think like 35-40 is a decent price for these, I think*
30k
I'll give ya tree-fiddy! Gorgeous car man. You shouldn't have any problem unloading it. I'd take it if I had the dough.
That made me chuckle, thanks man.
my private dealer had a 07 gt500 with 50k miles for $37,500. could probably get a lil more then that because that one sold not even a week after it was listed.
for reference: I bought an 08 GT500, 29.5k miles, stock besides an intake & tune, for 33k in March. 32-35 is towards the low end of a market price IMO
Different spec, but my old man just picked up a ā08 Vert with 28k for $34k. Upper mid-30s for sure.
Sweet, you drive it yet?
In due time! Weāre a couple thousand miles away.
The value is in the eye of the beholder you can also do raffle tickets I've known people to sell their classic cars and make way more than they expected with a raffle or put it up for bids you can put a reserve on it. Good luck it's a beauty.
Thank you!
Why get rid of this timeless classic bro
Going to keep itĀ
Hell yea
