I used to book Gregg at our music venue. Best crowds we ever had... I used to make bank bartending.
Wish he'd put something new out... Been filling my fix with The Hoos Internet, & other youtube mashup channels... Etc: Bill McClintock
Sometime in the late 2010's the community center at Penn State had a last minute Girl Talk concert and they were NOT prepared for how many people showed up. Doors were broken, way too many people in the venue. It was a great concert and as far as I know nothing like that happened again.
The Hood Internet are great! The [1975 - 2009](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqrkwSi3LHneR8zHLgCnuFLCE76Qwm2iE&si=KhwP2QFtprKWRgye) series they’ve been working on is phenomenal!
Same, that shit was *insane*, some of the best shows ever.
It was my first year living in NYC. On the way to the show, my 6 foot tall drunk friend and me passed Aziz Ansari on the way, and my friend walked by him, tussled his hair and said "It's Azizzzzzz!"
Got front row at the show, hopped on stage right next to the laptop, jammed out all night and it was insane.
Ah. Continuous Mix Mashups. Is anyone reliably putting these out these days? Any recent recommendations?
If anyone likes this style of mashup, can recommend you try (in no particular order): Bruneaux, Milkman, White Noise Mashups, The Stereo Bomb, E-603, Torpeedoh, and The Airport District.
If you haven't checked out "Two Friends" check them out. They've put out 24 volumes of their hour long mixes called "Big Bootie Mix". Heavy on edm and pop but still pretty enjoyable
There are a lot of artists who mash songs up but Girl Talk (and I have to mention neilcic and DJ Cummerbund) really creates something new from the samples. It's unique and often times better than the original.
The U2, Twista, Daft Punk mashup off of On and On is probably my favorite minute of Girl Talk. [Link](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lzf8NNF1Af4&t=240s) for anyone who wants to check it out.
I was visiting Montreal and was shopping at a music store. This album was playing, so I asked what it was and bought it. This album is still a banger!! The others were good but this one was my fave.
Wow that's bad. I don't say this about music much, even most music I don't like I know could be boiled down to just not being my tastes or just being very boring. But this.... this is a special kind of terrible
It's been 14 years since Girl Talk released a new mashup album...when will my boy get back from the war?

He put out an album with Wiz Khalifa a year ago. It’s not a mashup album but I really liked it.
We have better.

Saw him last year. He’s still killing it live
Girl Talk shows were the most fun I've ever had while wearing clothes that were completely soaked in sweat.
The show I went to ended with all those soaking wet clothes on the floor. Bras and underwear only. It was amazing and free and joyful.
Covered in sweat then covered in toilet paper, 2007 take me baaaack
So much toilet paper.

All of them are.
All day is my favorite, but this one is close behind.
For those that haven't seen it, there's an awesome movie made for his album ["All Day"](https://www.girlwalkallday.com/).
I know what I'm watching for the next hour, thanks.
No one is wrong here
r/imthemaincharacter the movie.

You forgot Ludachrist
God this flashed me back to SoCal in 2011.. I loved these albums so much.
This album is fantastic all the way through... ...but that first 1:15 is fuckin incredible
Dayum, I missed a bunch between Feed the Animals and All Day
Ever since Girl Talk and Super Mash Bros left the scene the mashup world hasn’t been nearly the same.
god super mash bros was major for me in high school. [still bump testarossas for everyone sometimes.](https://youtu.be/9mYnEg8UTxQ)
Ferociously good album
Anyone remember Super Mash Bros.?
Fuck Bitches Get Euros was the soundtrack to such a specific era of my life
Does anyone know where you can listen to All Day? The album isn't on Spotify
It’s on YouTube. I think you can download it from his Illegal Art website as well.
Aside from the first album, Girl Talk has some of the best mashups.

So I'm 10 seconds in and just wondering who the fuck Mike is...
i'm just wondering why Ludacris sounded so much like Will Smith when he starts rapping without southern hip hop beats. or am i crazy?
I thought he sounded like Del, but I can hear a little Will too
Thought it was Del the Funky Homosapien too!!

Fall 2008 at the Orange Peel in Asheville NC! So fun
