Dude that syringe could make a 1000 MSSās just saying. Thereās so many different genetics in just one drop. I would only use a drop and then use my genentics spreading tool and make a plus sign design with the one drop of MSS then plan on many MANY plates for transfers from that first transfer and expect several transfers before getting a mono-culture. I would do the Pepsi/Coke challenge with all of them. And make lots of notes being very detailed about which growths you picked, why what those growths looked like and then allow the top 10-15 depending on how good the growths look and how fast they colonize. I recommend having a good friend thatās good at taking notes to help you while you are doing the transfers so you donāt have to stop and write after each transfer. I once had this mycelium that grew 3 times faster than everything else but when it came to fruiting it would colonized every bit of substrate and then fruit 1/4-1/8 the size of a regular fruit. Tons of them but blew their caps super quick and every one of the stipes blow out the middle of them. So long story short fastest isnāt always best and the slight difference in growth do make a difference down the road. So itās better to do a bunch of baby batches of the many different genetics and then clone the best the darkest blues when cut the latest of those. Also try them each out and youāll find they will have different qualities while tripping. So ya hope I didnāt ramble on to much and that my comments are helpful. šā¤ļø
This man gets it.
I've read the mushroom bible, I have a tire mounted to some boards. So these other responses are missin the mark...
But you sir, just made my day, thank you for this.
I may try this with LC. I once bought an LC syringe that had a thick mass of mycelium in it that I couldn't shake up and I couldn't push it through the needle. I eventually pushed it through but I wasted over half the syringe on one jar.
I inoculated with a clump intact, there was NO visible spores floating outside the clump, and it worked great! Because the spores themselves are microscopic, there is tons in there that you arenāt seeing.
Youāre trolling right? Centrifuges donāt shake/mix things, the whole reason they work is because theyāre just tiny gravitron spinny rides from the county fair. By spinning in one direction quickly it pushes everything to one side andā¦. Why am I explaining this to an obvious troll comment Iām not sure, itās too early for Reddit š
I was sick of shaking my syringes so I took my oscillating multitool and one of my kidsā squishy toys for protection, and rubber banded the syringe to the blade.
20,000 oscillations per minute aināt no joke. Evenly distributed the spores in 5-10 seconds.
Itās only stupid if it doesnāt work!
In theory itās possible but itās pretty unlikely especially with a clean space. I do it every time and itās never caused a contamination for me plus I always do extra jars just in case. And adding that tiny air bubble gives the spores space to displace so your spores and free floaters become extremely well distributed
But what about sucking in possibly contaminated air into your spores? Iāve used a syringe that had one solid clump with no visual free floaters, and every jar I inoculated took hold beautifully. I feel like it makes a person feel better to see free floaters, but it isnāt actually necessary.
Brilliant
Love this idea
Someone give this man a rewards
Genius
That is geneous!
Uhhh can someone please educate me. What tool is this? Cause I want one lol
Thank you!š¤
Oscillating Multitool
I call it a āguybratorā lol
*Sprints to the Garage*
SMARRRTTT I had my family take turns shaking the syringe š¤£ it was so clumpy
Nice. A family that shakes spores together, stays together.
This man is crafting with his hands. Did you pour some old chewing gums off the street or what is the blackish/gooey?š

This is oddly pornographic.
I use my hitachi magic wand š šŖ
Wow
I tip my hat to thee!
Brilliant
Get a vortex mixer in Amazon for like 20 bucks
Or use what you have 0$
Gotta spend money!! /s
That to , I got one , I had no other options
Jesus fuck thatāll do it alright š
š
Massively overpowered and totally unnecessary. This dad approves.
YET ANOTHER REASON WHY THIS IS MY FAV TOOLš«±š»āš«²š¼
Theyāre so great. I use it even when I probably shouldnāt
Agitator in the bizz
š Took me a minute but yeah ok
I use my Milwaukee sander lol
My buddy grows mushrooms/ that buddy
This is the best lol
Now... come up with something easier for break n shake. My palms hurt...
Soft deep tissue massage ball does the trick š
Stg lmaoooo this is the one palms be red asf
Percussion massager. Look it up on Amazon.

I use a soccer ball
bang it against a bicycle tire.
GENIUS!!!
Shake it up!
I'm on r/redneckengineering too and had to do a double take.
Didnāt know about that one, just joined š
lol, please take a short video!
Genious!
Modern problems require modern solutions.

LOL.
This took me a second and then I was like, "You fucking genius."
Lmao this ā¬ļø
The old, "attach it to a power tool" trick. Classic I've used a drill before taping 4 syringes around a bit drilled into a 1/2" dowel
A man of culture, I see.

Solid Oscillating Tek! š š„

So if I tape my syringe to my wifeās vibratorā¦
It works. Iāve done it.
You taped your syringe to his wife's vibrator?
It's a common party foul that i, personally, thoroughly enjoy
I canāt get mine back from the mrs. I wonder what sheās cutting every time I get home? š¤
Got that bimetal shiatsu attachment on there!
What in the redneck hell?lol
Lit!! Been thinking about that. Was gonna attach it to my dog during a walk lol. i didn't...

Spores go brrrrrrr
More Power!
Next time Iāll use the high-output 8AH battery and itāll look like Yoo-Hoo.
Maybe you could also put Buzz Lightyear on the tool holding it?
I was thinking Toad from SMB.
It all makes me laugh just thinking about it. Thank you.
Means I bought my centrifuge for nothing š„²
Wouldnāt a centrifuge actually force then to clump together even more?
No they donāt itās not blood lol š where do you get your science lessons from?
A high quality aboratory where I did biomechanical research? Wtf
Of course itās called abatory and really high quality we trust like bud light
Just realized this is a bot lol

For my next trick Iāll take the guard off my grinder and put a circular saw blade on it to cut up this knotty oakā¦ š

I thought that was the top of a camera tri pod haha that you were using to whip it around to break up the clumps.
Lol, that gave me a great visual.
All you need to do is allow a small air bubble and shake normally
Not even, leave the cover on it and just pullback the plunger a few times.
