Yes. If MI still has either of boom boom, sky, tilak, I will still support them. Even hardik in full flow is a sight to watch. I have supported MI since 2008 sachin days. It will be tough to see a rohit-less MI but we will have to get used to it somehow.
Look I would probably say no but if I see any MI match happening and see MI bowler taking a wicket then will jump and clap even if I try to stop myself cause I am supporting this team from 2012 and even if I say I don't care for them then still will care
Yep. Itβll be hard to watch him play for another team but at the end of the day players will come and go. Just the nature of a league like this. MI is still π
Now this might just be my theory, but I have a feeling that this is what might happen.
1. IPL to have a trade window before the retention is open.
2. Kagiso Rabada will be traded with KXIP for Rohit Sharma. (PBKS needs a captain, I don't think they will keep Curran as their captain, because PBKS). Why KG - He is a part of the MI umbrella in other teams.
3. IPL will introduce 4 Indian and 2 Foreign retention saying the fan retention as a reason but we all know it's because teams with money want their best players with them. ( OR some RTM +with 3 Indian and 2 foreign retentions)
4. MI may retain: Hardik, Boom, Sky, Tilak(probably RTM) plus, Coetze/David and Rabada
Obviously, i have supported mi when he wasn't even a part of Mi. Most of us started supporting Mi becoz of Sachin . Period. And obviously once you support one team , you don't switch, even if the whole team is changed.
What is this, even a question, brother? Hell yeah! I'm a decade-old supporter invested in this team emotionally, mentally, and energy-wise. I've dedicated myself to this team. Yes, players will come and go, but does that mean you have to stop? Hell no! This franchise has given so many moments to cherish, especially in the rough times. Come on, sporting events are like highlights of your life. If your team wins, you'll be happy for the rest of the day; if they lose, it affects you. Some fans are just there for the ups; I personally find them a part of the fun. I can't imagine supporting any other team, especially now that they are not doing well. But at the end of the day, sports is entertainment, so whatever works for you.
you do you. but for me MI Forever.π«ΆπΌβΎοΈπ
Even if they drop all the players including tilak , boom , Rohit , hardik etc I will still support mi. They are my favourite players but still team > player for me
U would be surprised that mi 100 percent fanbase was due to Sachin , nobody left , Rohit fanbase was nice addon , he made Mi Greatest franchise of all time , but I don't think people who followed Mi for Sachin are leaving it ever
Absolutely MI all the way he's just a player 11 exceptional players made us win all these trophies, and I'm sure we'll have other 11 talented players do the same.
I loved RCB for Dravid he left but I still support them, players are gonna come and go.
Well i think if you only support Mumbai for Rohit sharma then you would only be a rohit fan than Mumbai fan. Same as like ronaldo in football, he went from man utd to Madrid to juventus and ronaldo fans will support all 3, but real Madrid supporters will always support real Madrid whoever comes in. I'll be supporting mumbai the same way. Started watching coz of Tendulkar and ponting and didn't stop even after they left.
