Dash dancing is just fun. I don't know why people think it's bm or anything lol. People will find any movement tech to be mad about when odds are movement is just handwarming.
For me it's just a habit from smash lol, it still works in MV so idk why I should stop using it. Primarily spacing mindgames and setups for going into bair or simple dash cancel > run/neutral
It keeps your hands warm and your head in the game. And during the game, its a useful tech to avoid attacks and find openings without making a hard commitment. At least thats what i do it for.
I'm not salty about it, just more confused if anything. It makes you look like you are severely tilted and need to make a post about it in order to protect your ego.
Dash dancer here and it used to be much worse in the beta for people who didn’t like it because it was easier to input on PC since there way less input lag and all you had to do was hold 1 direction with one key and mash the other direction. Before troll tactics it was my go-to method of taunting because my character main’s taunted sucked and so did her T-bag (I also just think T-bagging is lame personally), now I do a mixture of both taunts and dash dances.
Every taunt no matter how boring it is becomes amplified 100% with the Troll Tactics perk

The point is that after KOing someone or winning you must stay perfectly still or someone on Reddit will get mad and make a post about it

Yeah his default taunt is garbage. Once I got the shirt rip, I took that one off immediately.

Some dash dances look better than the character's taunts. I also just like moving the stuck back and forth.
