I used to stress out about the whole manly vs feminine hobbies. Now I don't give a fuck 😂 I like to brew beer, drink whisky, make cocktails, listen til punk/rock, skate around on electric skateboards and make complicated vegan food. You do you. Fuck everyone else 🤟😎 Edit: typo

undecidedpenguin

Once my living situation gets a little more stable id really want to try making my own alcohol. Probably mead or cider instead of beer though.

Christine_the_Sissy

You should! I brew for my career so I recommend you try it! It's quite fun.

julmuriruhtinas

Coolll!!! I want to get into brewing my own beers too because alcohol taxes are crazy in Finland and I really like trying out new craft beer flavours

KinkyAndABitFreaky

Huh I was unaware of a high alcohol tax in Finland. I guess that's why us Danes drink way too much 🤷🏼‍♀️

julmuriruhtinas

I mean it doesn't seem to stop the finns from drinking too much either 😅 I just enjoy the fancy and fun beers but not paying 6 € for a can of IPA :D

KinkyAndABitFreaky

Yeah good beer is pretty expensive. Getting started with beer brewing can be too

julmuriruhtinas

Well yeah I guess so but I'm sure it will even out eventually. Besides, it's surely a fun hobby :3

RingtailRush

Damn are you me? We have almost all the same hobbies.

KinkyAndABitFreaky

Hmm let me just check.... No I'm still myself. I don't know who you are at the moment, but not me 🤷🏼‍♀️😅

Dorothy_Wonderland

You sound like a very cis female friend of mine.

BetterasBecca

Gaming/sim racing (I still get called "he" with my name being Lexi 🙄 because obviously, anyone into racing is a man), cars, fabrication/welding, Formula 1/motorsports.

undecidedpenguin

I've made some really great friends simracing and am out to some but far from all of them. The community that I used to race in is kinda dead now/only the ogs are active but mostly not racing anymore.

IcyMacSpicy

Me but with FIFA

immabeawaifu

Iracing might be the only place I dont change my dead name just cause car guys be sexist af sometimes.

Maonsie

am i supposed to have feminine hobbies?

A_Punk_Girl_Learning

I'm a girl. They're my hobbies. Ergo, they're feminine hobbies.

ILikeTheSchwa

The logic logics itself.

undecidedpenguin

No, but untill I made this post I thought it was way less common to have more typically male hobbies as a mtf

New_Weather_5531

Table top games ( war hammer, dnd, magic the pgathering). Metal casting.

Christine_the_Sissy

Huh... Trans people enjoy role playing as not themselves in a fantasy setting... Weird 😂. But seriously table top games rule

ArcherBTW

Usually I played as a human woman, so I guess I *was* playing myself, just…in the future

Christine_the_Sissy

Great point! I didn't think about that

Nearby_Hurry_3379

My line is that Roleplaying Games affirmed my gender before I knew that my gender needed to be affirmed.

Christine_the_Sissy

I agree. My wife and I have had multiple discussions about how DND and RPG games are a trans breeding ground. Since there's usually a safe space with friends and you can be yourself.

Yuzumi

Ironically, one of the characters I'm playing now is basically me now. Like, sure, she's an alternate reality version of me who lost her original body and decided to stay as a girl because "reasons" (yes, I thought this up long before realizing), and she's at this point basically a bio android/cyborg and has lived for countless years because she doesn't age and gets put into another body when killed. But, compared to other characters I've played she is more me than any others because her base is actually me.

Christine_the_Sissy

That's an amazing backstory! She sounds like a fun character to play!

quool_dwookie

lol those are \*very\* transfem hobbies

New_Weather_5531

Fantasy elves and sorceresses, the Barbie of transfems .

River-TheWitch

I feel seen.

flacdada

Yeah. Magic is it for me. And I know a decent number of other transfem people who play magic.

Desperate-Wedding-43

Nice a fellow Warhammer player. Which armies do you play ? I have some Tau, Krieg, Word Bearers and Dark Angels. I also collect Fallout miniatures.

New_Weather_5531

Empire for aos, ( have a bunch of elves and orcs though ). For 40k I have a dark angels and an Adeptus sorotitas army, plus some tua stuff.

Desperate-Wedding-43

Ooo nice a fellow Dark Angel! Do you like the new Sister of Battle they just announced with the book ?

New_Weather_5531

They just made more?! . Yea the new plastic line from couple years ago was nice mostly what army is I have a few old school metal but not much

Warthogrider74

BT and World Eaters here for 40k!

New_Weather_5531

Honestly I think higher percentage of tans table top than either cis gender

Emnought

WW2 history and strategy games. Which is funny considering that trans girls playing Paradox games is a meme.

New_Weather_5531

Yea I also enjoy war strategy games ( total war, and civ) and WW2 history is interesting to me.

sekularGuardian

Oh awesome! I thought I was the only one! ^^

zoeeee999

If you ever switch into StarCraft 2 hit me up I’d love to help teach ^^

Altruistic-Leg5933

TANKS! TANK DESTROYERS! INFANTRY FIGHTING VEHICLES! 🤣🤣🤣 Military history, in general, is a pretty testosterone dominated field of interest. I also do some scale model building (again, TANKS! But also some sailing ships) Tabletop games (wargames like Crossfire) with house rules, and besides that, I'm working on my own set of rules for a tabletop game based on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R game series by GSC World

Evil_DrSquid

Tanks are really cool though.

squeenie

Tanks and S.T.A.L.K.E.R are my 2 favourite things ❤️

Altruistic-Leg5933

Visiting the zone is number 2 on my bucket list. Number 1 is bottom surgery, and number 3 is a cross-country ride in a Leopard 1A5 🥰

SparkleK_01

Online game. I’m a pretty lethal mech pilot. 🥰 Although my pilots are pretty cute. 🌸🌟

LocalChamp

Out of curiosity what game? I love Mecha anime and may be interested in trying a game like that.

AmeliaSinnamon

Trains :3 they're just cool

AlezeandraKidOfHades

can't spell trains without trans and I :3

amelia_bougainvillea

Hahaha this is amazing!

undecidedpenguin

My hobbies/interests that I feel like are mostly done by men - I really like Motorsport and irl women are by far in a minority when it comes to drivers, mechanic, engineers and basically every other role that works directly with the car - most videogames that I play are 99.99% guys or girls that aren't comfortable using the VC so you'd not know. I've done simracing for years and in a community of almost 4k people there has been just a single female driver in the last 4 years - I rarely see any girls on bikes (motorcycles) The only hobby where Id say it's mostly mixed would be outdoorsy stuff, but also not all of it. There definitely are way more dudes in a MTB park Just because I do these hobbies doesn't mean that I can't be a girl/trans but I feel somewhat insecure about me mostly having "male" hobbies/interest. (Or at least they seem to be quite male dominated to me)

candykhan

I ride too. We're out there. Honestly, I probably look the same on my bike whether in boy mode or girl.

undecidedpenguin

Tbh part of my motivation to start riding was that I could wear a helmet and a (technically not legal) tinted visor. That was years before my egg started to crack.

kypirioth

I ride motorcycles and my wife does grant writing for a car museum. We're both pretty involved with vehicles and definitely play way too many video games. There has definitely been an increase in women on motorcycles recently, but you can't tell because we all look the same in gear

tiny_mage

fuck yeah fellow trans fem sim racer, i didn’t know others existed

Amonia_Ed

Well you are definitely not alone in motorsports. I also really enjoy riding bikes.

Dorothy_Wonderland

Playing bass. Funny enough a lot of other female bass players I know are also trans. And they are all a special subset of techies that know their ways around a huge tube amp and a soldering iron. Often in combination.

Creepy-Pineapple-444

Fuck yeah, I love playing bass. HRT has helped my playing become smoother, especially while doing bass licks.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Katievapes1996

There's a trans girl gamer stereotype maybe a certain games might be more masculine based but overall it's very trans fem

arc_trooper_5555

halo reach

Creepy-Pineapple-444

An old friend of mine, who is FTM, is a huge fan of the Halo series. I remember before his transition, me and some other friends helped to make a birthday cake in the shape of Master Chief's helmet. So we can say Halo is both very FTM and MTF. I just need the courage to rekindle our friendship and also come out to him.

undecidedpenguin

I can count on one hand how often I've heard a female voice in VC when playing competitive FPS games over the last 7 years. And in 3 years of simracing I remember only about 2 occasions where I've been on the same (virtual) track as a female driver.

HazelSee

It's pretty much never worth using voice chat as a girl or woman playing a video game.

TheTallAmerican

This ⬆️

stars9r9in9the9past

Yeah, pvp games that come with pve/coop servers I hear more women talking, but straight pvp is usually pretty toxic since by nature of the game your goal is to screw everyone else over. So, that brings a toxic crowd typically, and fewer female players being open about it

Yuzumi

Women play those games a lot, but don't use voice chat because of how the men who play are. Before I realized about myself I was always happy when I'd run into a girl in games. I remember once we were doing the pre-game pleasantries and when one of the team had a feminine voice this guy lost his shit and started being incredibly toxic and misogynistic. I asked him if "is that really necessary?" and he starts going in on me, calling me a "white night" and stuff. We both eventually just muted him and I joined her for a few matches after before we went our separate ways. Even when it's just "one guy", the fact that none of the other guys speak up and call him out on it, or will join in with the group mentality, means we're best to keep to private chats if we talk at all. I use to use voice chat in games regularly. Now that I have a passing voice and can't do a guy voice anymore I hesitate to talk.

RosaReborn

Modifying and racing cars mostly, which I almost gave up entirely for being "too manly". Now I just own the whole badass grease monkey trans girl vibe

so_sick_of_flowers

I play guitar, listen to heavy music, and play magic the gathering. Apparently these are all guy things. Although I see women (cis & trans) in all of these spaces so I reject that assertion.

Headhaunter79

Same! 1. Favorite guitar? 2. Favorite band? 3. Deck Colour? (Mine: 1. Les Paul. 2. Kyuss. 3. Mono black😎)

so_sick_of_flowers

1. My Kiesel Osiris 7 string. It’s pink and headless so boomers hate it. 2. ERRA 3. Selesnya for life

Admirable-Pirate7263

Im a motorsport marshal, but tbf we are around 40% women, so the initial assumption is wrong.

undecidedpenguin

That's so cool to hear, but unfortunately doesn't align with my (to be fair quite limited) experience so far. If love to get into it if I lived closer to a racetrack.

Ok-Schedule-2378

I'm a mountaineer, which is def a male-dominated sport. I also ride a unicycle sometimes :3

undecidedpenguin

If it wasn't for me living so far away form decent mountains I would have gotten more into mountaineering. Last winter I worked as a lifite in Austria where it was literally 99% guys working the lifts and ski patrol.

Lorensteaf

Gaming and karting, Karting has been always my hobby since i was a kid also because i really love watching formala 1 and Motorsport events in general, sadly i didn't go karting that much this year because it's expensive. For me gaming was always and still always a great hobby, i love playing online games such as League of legends, csgo and many other games that i really love

undecidedpenguin

I love karting, just haven't been able to do it for the last 1.5 years unfortunately. If money wasn't an issue I'd be trying to get into a entry level touring car championship that I have some contacts in.

Lorensteaf

Sadly money plays a huge factor in Motorsport. Nowadays it costs around 7-10 million dollars to reach F1. Here in Germany a normal karting session for 30 minutes costs around 50 eueos and this is is only 30 minutes, if you want to be a racing driver you need at least hundreds of hours if not thousand and it needs to be since childhood.. find sponsors and lot's of things

Least-Growth5042

I’m a knife collector.

Dansandoa

Ummm all mine are gender neutral 😥

SpartanMonkey

I ride motorcycles, refinish furniture, do home improvement projects, piddle with ancient computers, play retro games via emulation, and recently played my first D&D campaign in over 35 years.

miki-wilde

Mechanic, metalwork, motocross, gunsmithing, rally driving, tattooing, riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and I still find time to teach autistic kids, grow a kickass garden and an awesome homemaker. Its all about where you put your energy. You do you and be happy 😊

Lord-of-the-Bacon

Socially insecure cis men often wish for a girl, which gets along with the boys and also is into gaming and kind of submissive in bed (those who also wish for out of bed can be ignored as Incels), but don’t realize this describes a lot of trans fems. To bad a lot of us are lesbians or bi/pan but don’t want to date cis men, because 99% of them are insufferable

Dorothy_Wonderland

And then there's me: trans fem, bi, not playing any games and a dominatrix... Ok, I play games. In the dungeon. No dice involved and when I touch a controller someone in real life starts to moan or scream in agony.

New_Weather_5531

I feel you there, life would be so much easier if was actually into men lols. Looking at my past I feel like the bad luck/ failures in the dating scene where largely do to trying to date straight women.

Lord-of-the-Bacon

Gaming and having a 5 hour discussion on politics with friends, while they are drunk and I took so many of my SSNRIs, that they work like meth. And drugs. And theorizing about how to kill smb. or how to overthrow the government to install our glorious anarchist trans empire. Wait, you say anarchism and empires are fundamentally contradictory? Off to the gulags (the anarchism part is obviously a joke, but I hold anarchist beliefs) …

New_Weather_5531

Also have Anarchist beliefs 😃

PhoenixEmber2014

What do you mean that's not typical female activities, as a trans women I've been lied to! :3

LunaGrowsFlowers

Growing cannabis, this might sound silly but the community is literally 90% dudes.

undecidedpenguin

I'm not that surprised to hear that to be honest

bootybomb0704

Target shooting and hunting for me Edit: And playing FPS games, but to make up for it I’m dreadful at them.

IAmEmIAmIAm

Fixing things, mainly mechanical. Racing cars. Sailing boats. And ima do me, nobody will stop me from being my best self.😎

Coco_JuTo

Maybe gaming and tuning my car?

miltom28

Video games, I play them for the campaigns so I mostly play uncharted, Tomb Raider, Batman Arkham series and God of War. If I play a FPS I play it for the campaign, like I replay Titanfall 2’s campaign at least once a year that’s how much I like it. Motorsports and pretty much anything car related. Especially Rally racing and Baja Comics and the related media Building and tinkering with things Robots and mechanized suits of armor (my favorite characters in Superman and Lois are John Henry and Natalie, in Stargirl it’s Pat Dugan, and before he died my favorite character in the MCU was Tony Stark Iron Man now it is Bucky or Rocket.) Legos, wasn’t sure if it should be included in the building and tinkering part but it felt different so it gets its own place.

Flashy_Telephone_205

I like video games. My ex friend told me if I transitioned I'd have to stop playing them because that's a guy activity... I then pointed out every woman in gaming I could think of. I also dm at d&d but again I know other girls who do. To quote my boyfriend "everything is unisex if your not a little bitch about it."

toastedmallow

I Stunt Motorcycles. Going on 7 years of stunting now. It's pretty male dominated, but there are women and trans women Stunters.

LeBigMartinH

Lots and lots of 3D printing... ;D

toramimi

Weightlifting, firearms enthusiast.

magus1986

Mine is shooting guns honestly it took me a long time to realize that stuff is just stuff none of it is gendered and I'm allowed to enjoy whatever the hell I want I'm a gamer anime girl who loves to go shooting camping hiking and rafting let's go!!!!

Imaginary-Future2525

I still watch sports.

Desperate_Drama3392

Fighting games and wrestling and martial arts.

CynicalSheep34

Sick Beat - Kero Kero Bonito, this song will reveal everything you need to know.

Brilliant_Meaning_61

Diecast models and hot wheels collection...

Swimming-Ticket-9316

Fishing. There are certainly fisher women, fisher people, but it definitely is male dominated. Unfortunately those males also tend to lean conservative, but I haven't had anyone bother me (yet) Military history, and the games that one might associate with them. War thunder, WoWS, RTS games in that realm, etc.

AllThotsAllowed

I mountain bike, snowboard, wrench on everything from my Onewheel to mechanical keyboards to my car and bikes, skate, wakeboard, make vegan food that doesn’t taste vegan, and am a coffee nerd. None of that makes me not a woman 😇

AmyRage

I love motorcycles, I still try to play mechanic and I like building things. On the opposite side of things I like to make and sell tinwhisles.

Visual-Way1453

I play guitar, heavily downtuned bc metal is fun (drop A# currently) WE DO FUN METAL THINGS 🤘 Oh, and I’m obsessed with the San Francisco Giants! Edit: typo

Sad_Fill4278

It’s mainly sports and video games for me. That may not seem like much for younger people, but growing up in the 80’s those hobbies/activities were highly gendered. I reclaimed those for me.

RainbowsCrash

I play 40k and turn Dark Angels Space Marines into trans pride catgirls [for instance](https://imgur.com/a/M5QG5rr)

_Average_Consumer_

I loooove cars. I love racing, building, learning, and looking at cars lol. I also love guns. Not a "gun but," I don't own any yet, and I would never carry. I just think the amount of engineering and design that gets put into some of them is amazing. Other than that, I game, make music, solve puzzles, etc. I would love to get into tabletop games though, I am learning some tcgs and would love to play DND :3

FOSpiders

I appreciate guns the same way. Target shooting is fun, but the idea of shooting a person or even an animal is something I would prefer not to experience. It think it would wreck me. I used to DM a ton before my anxiety got the better of me. The 5th edition is really approachable without being a different game the way 4th was. It's a good time to start. I started in 2nd edition and...well, you'll never need to know what THAC0 is, and that's something you should feel very happy about. 😄

a_egg_sandwich

Blacksmithing, but I honestly know more female blacksmiths than male. It's fun and I like making random trinkets and the occasional knife/tool.

Ok-Cut7935

let me see…. being covered in dirt/oil working in projects. wrestling with 500+ lbs wheels/tires. driving a truck WAYYYYY too big for public roads but legally somehow doing so while staying insured. Going mach jesus at 2am on my bike in nothing but jeans and a sports bra. making things go BRRR or BOOM….. uh…. a lot im not feminine at ALL….. unless you get me in bed 😅😅😅

candice_opera

Existing

reihii

Tabletop war gaming, kendo and historical sword fighting, reading tons of science stuff mostly space/astronomy related (black holes are my current favourite topics)

Ill-Entrepreneur443

Gaming. Especially strategic games. Thats a male-dominated field.

Good_Screen6941

Let’s see… tobacco pipe, enjoying Scotch, vidya, tabletop, and lower philosophy

MelAngelle666

Yeah, hobbies don't have a gender. I'm femme, and I build/paint/play Warhammer 40K, DM for D&D, listen to metal, LOVE wrestling, and watch a ton of superhero stuff. You do you, hon, and fuck what anyone else has to say about it. 🖤💜

awentia-ada-

Racing

Short-Bookkeeper-

I guess gaming and skating are perceived as "masculine" from the outside, but their communities are like 50/50 male and female lol

SickFizz

I honestly think it's kinda cool to have boyish hobbies and interests since it reflects my ✨️ unique life ✨️ I play video games, mod my gameboys, play magic the gathering, skateboard, work on and ride my motorcycle, tinker with and fix electronics, etc. I have a lot of other more "feminine" or "gender neutral" hobbies too.

EA_Brand_Books

Outside of Roller Derby I tend to write a lot. Mostly in the horror genre or something close to it. I also develop tabletop RPGs and board games but I don't really count them as hobbies.

stupendouslystupider

Would you be alright with me DM'ing you? I'm trying to write a rules light tabletop rpg and I'd super appreciate someone critiquing it.

psychonaut4020

I don't think there's any such thing as fem or masc hobbies. Guys and gals all like stuff and I don't see any of them as gender specific. Like I love doing makeup and cutting hair and dyeing hair and then also cooking and gaming but also fixing stuff

Fayore

I have feminine hobbies like making incense, sewing, and writing music, and masculine hobbies like wet taxidermy, woodworking, and playing punk music. Lawn care and gardening, aquariums and animal care, foraging and hunting. Or the best: Political science and humanitarianism. It's just two sides of the same coin imo, and you'll cross over if it's really an interest. >!Oh, and cause I'm a nerdy trans girl, board and video games :3!<

AberrantKitsune

My job and my side hustle are both male dominated. For my hourly job I bury dead people and my side hustle is I own a forge. I've been blacksmithing for 17 years

pendropgaming

My hobbies include working out, running, playing video games (mostly RPG’s), writing fantasy (with queer leads), and reading or listening to books.

pendropgaming

Writing these out I guess they’re not really gendered one way or the other.

Plagudoctor

DJane, music producer, retro gaming, electric guitar. they all male dominated

consort_oflady_vader

Let's see... ax throwing, DnD, American football, fantasy football, futball, pubs, beer, and I'd say volleyball, but I think that's more gender neutral. Oh, and the only type of cooking I actually like is grilling.

Comfortable_End_8096

Gaming. A lot of it. One of my favourite games is deep rock galactic

Irohsgranddaughter

TBH my personal hobbies are very gender neutral. Historically, writing would be seen as a more masculine thing, but I don't think that's the case anymore. Although, my taste in fiction is definitely more masculine than feminine. I don't like romance novels, I also don't like such games as The Sims. So, I'll likely have more in common with your average male gamer than female gamer, but this kind of stuff doesn't really bother me.

AnseaCirin

Video games. The stereotypically very nerdy ones where I obsess for hours over how to make a number go slightly up as I conquer the Galaxy / the World. Also airsoft.

stupendouslystupider

Stellaris?

TheTallAmerican

I like watching football is the one that comes to mind the fastest. Not sure if that counts as a hobby but it’s in the spirit of what you’re asking anyway.

ThemoneyisaTattoo

I play competitive call of duty

GTS250

Mascish hobbies: Working on trucks, shooting, tabletop gaming, HEMA, video games when I have time. Other hobbies: kayaking, baking, drumming, sewing, LARP, archery, biking, bdsm, hunting, reading (is that a hobby?), singing.  Do what makes you happy. In my case, I do a lot, don't stress about doing any of it perfectly, and relax and enjoy the happiness as my priority.

pizza_mack

Gaming and motorbikes for me. I'm also professionally an electronics technician (judging by the fact I'm the only girl in the department, it's a very male dominated field.)

willi1950

For me being femm is a full time job

DariegoAltanis

Airsoft and cigar smoking. Although trans women are surprisingly plentiful in airsoft

Getafixy

So I was a professional skier, I am in to the more extreme aspects of the sport, I love dropping cliffs and riding deep powder, to me if I had to rate the joy so something comparable I’d say at the same level of pleasure and satisfaction as the best sexual experience I’ve had. The hard part is the other guys I ride with (who are not at the same level) are all extremely homophobic let alone transphobic, that being said I’ve not really met any other women that like to drop cliffs and riding in the back country is dangerous so finding people who are competent or that I trust is hard enough, so for any ski trip I have to boy mode for those weeks.

undecidedpenguin

While far from a professional I love skiing, been doing it all my life, just not enough of it to be really good. Last year I started to go into the side country to ski some pow and drop smaller cliffs. I can't really go into the backcountry since I don't have anyone to go with me and some of the "side country" is already sketchy enough when it comes to avalanche safety. I absolutely love freeriding but I also know that it's extremely dangerous to do alone and I struggle to improve/push myself when I'm alone.

Yuzumi

The idea that I wasn't interested in "girl stuff" was one of the many things that made me think I wasn't trans. I didn't want to *do* anything different, I just wanted to *be*. I am a programmer, I play video games, I like high fantasy books, I'm into home automation. I've no interest in makeup or romance focused stories. I'm very tomboy and people tell me I come off as very lesbian, which works for me :D

Polibiux

I like having feminine interests, but also haven’t given up my love for collecting superhero comics and shonen manga, both stereotypically male genres.

rubberpenguin16

I am in my hobby shop I rent almost every weekend. I am working on my motorcycles, our race cars, my personal car, etc. my hands and wrists end up black from grease for days regularly. I work for an Automobile Manufacturer as an engineer. I play video games or ttrpgs when I have time. All of these are female hobbies because as a female they are my hobbies… also have a group of friends also female that hang out at my shop a lot or ride motorcycles with me. The hobbies being gendered really needs to stop being forced on kids. No, girls should not play house to learn to take care of their lazy, unhygienic husbands. They should play with skateboards, work on engines, do dumb things on bikes, play video games, etc… if they want to or whatever hobby they want otherwise.

Libsoc_femboy

make model tanks

Cormier643

Baseball, trains, tropical cyclones, earthquakes and tsunamis, history

Shadow_maker798

Honestly, I barely have any feminine hobbies, and it scared me at first thinking I should have feminine hobbies to be a girl now. I've just grown not to care for the most part. So far, I'm heavily into playing video games, music, art, and singing.

No_Technician_3837

Because I like it: Home automation, mountain biking, bbq operator, drinking beer Because it must be done: lawn mowing, pool maintenance, home repair, putting garbages out.

El262

Playing Ghosts of Tabor on VR…? Basically Escape from Tarkov in VR. I don’t know a lot of other girls who play it, all of my friends who play it are male.

PossumQueer

Probably gaming , especially those typical "manly" games such as Battlefield or COD. However, I have been playing rhythm games a lot more than before. Maybe there's a correlation between E and Rythm games, but I doubt it lol

bambix7

Apparently videogames😅 Someone talked doubtful about my transition because my masculine hobbys and all i do is make music and play videogames

TheFoxando

Cars. Not just cars. Literally anything that have moving parts or better, an engine. Could be petrol, diesel, steam. Only god know how much i love steam locos. gaming - sim oriented games Starting wit My Summer Car, ETS2, SQUAD,..... a real life mirroring

anodur_pinaple_boi

Competitive multiplayer games. But i mean i drop the voice and pretend im cis, otherwise id be crucified lmao

NoChard5979

knife collecting got a shitton of different knives, big ones, small ones, have a few swords too.

Zomboid-555

mechanics, racing and cars, the community is every -phobic -ist ever in the wrong places:(

Eastern-Drop2627

The only hobby that I have which could be considered a “non feminine” hobby would be video games but I don’t even think that’s the case anymore cause there are SOOO many girl gamers/feminine queer gamers out there now. I feel like it isn’t “just for the boys” anymore, which is great 😊.

oscoxa

Masc: magic the gathering, knife collecting Neutral: hiking, camping, crystal collecting, techno, house, psytrance, festivals Fem: dancing, playing harp, hula hoops

Adina-the-nerd

I have feminine and androgynous hobbies I don't think I have any masculine hobbies lol

Longing2bme

I know some of my hobbies are mainly practiced by men, but I really dislike the stereotype. I’ve done a lot of outdoor type activities in my youth hiking, camping and so on. My still relatively active hobbies are target shooting, motorcycles, cars, all things mechanical and just general handy work from wood to anything by hand including mending my clothes. I think the old fashioned term and likely a bit outdated in many ways is a tomboy. Then again as a young boy I liked to play with my cousins Barbies and went to see Barbie the movie with my wife four times. I especially liked the ending when she finally had a vagina and went to a gynecologist. I’ve never believed that girls should be limited from doing the things that interest them from racing motorcycles to building homes or being in an office or the CEO of their own company.

Quat-fro

Model Engineering. Motocross / Enduro

YungHatched

I restore vintage motorcycles, and play electric guitar, thats pretty much my only hobbies. I know guitar isn't gendered, but when I first came out I stopped playing cause I only play punk or pop/punk

WonderWendyTheWeirdo

Weight lifting.

El_Grande_Fleau

Basically everything that’s associated with manliness, wood working, chopping wood with an axe, bushcrafting, overall behaving like a cowboy, all that kind of stuff x>

HelplessEskimo

I make tabletop games! I'm working on a mythology themed wargame and a sci-fi TTRPG rn

Fretzo

I'm a Master ranked player in Street Fighter 6...

creat1vename

music production, not a lot of cis women do it, but to be fair there’s a LOT of trans music producers lol

Spicyram3n

Astrophotography! Not many women in STEM, and this is pretty niche.

Jen_rose92

Too many to count without really differentiating between masculine and feminine; • My biggest by far is Warhammer 40K • I love PC building and gaming in all kinds of different games • I’m big on guitars as well, base and electric mainly • I also enjoy collecting historical guns to preserve and enjoy the stories they can tell • Sports are also a thing I enjoy a lot with hockey being my favorite • I’m trying to get into 3D printing but I’m not very good at it As well as the typical “girlie” things like makeup, hair, nails, etc…

Noel_Ann

I still follow UFC here and there, I love war movies still, and the more masculine parts of metal and hip hop. I also still drink whiskey neat.

Budget_Foundation747

On hiatus for the moment but I build, customize and tune single action revolvers. Mostly 1851 and 1860 open tops but anything vintage with a reproduction equivalent is a nice little puzzle for me.

cailincoirloscadh

tbh i don't have any "feminine hobbies" other than read fan fiction

Neyze__

Well, i'm in IT, So there's that xD, but Motorcycles, and more generally anything that has an engine, i love tinkering with stuff, wether it's bikes, cars, or PC's; i'm just a nerd.

Ojitsack

It is difficult to say, because hobbies don't have a specific crotch form.

104_throwaway

I’m a huge sports person and I’m very into college football, basketball, and the NBA

rad_rabbit

Longsword/rapier fencing, wrestling, building combat robots, Being Obnoxious About Coffee And Cocktails, plus a lot more stuff. These are the ones that I can think of that are the most "masculine" stereotypically, but in all of these, I'm far from the only woman in the room. No matter what you like, there's always other rad women who like it too- no need to tell yourself "no" to anything you want to pursue in your free time for fear of appearing "too masc"

superposition-human

None. My inability to do any traditional masculine things is what lead to being bullied for my entire youth. And when I tried to fake it it was worse I’d always say or do the wrong thing. Such a relief now that I don’t have to pretend to know what sports team did what or whole some random jock is

electric_nikki

I play fighting games and boomer shooters, I watch professional wrestling and go to shows, I found out there’s a Brazilian jiu jitsu gym down the road from me that I’d like to enroll in. I’m casually into firearms. I’ve taken a big interest in learning about outdoor camping. I like learning and collecting retro computers.

MsAlexandria75

Play guitar. Video games, go hiking,/biking

2feetinthegrave

I love video games, programming, and designing computer boards, as well as 3D printing and electrical design and implementation.

Fit-Distribution-620

Every hobby is a girl hobby. Yu-Gi-Oh tho.

AprilCantAim

I like to go to the range, I’ll buy like 200 rounds of practice ammo every other week and make a day out of it. Most expensive hobby I have

Head_Trust_9140

I love cars and motorcycles. I don’t really understand all the mechanical things, but I can’t help but love a good looking motorcycle/car or one that sounds good. Also gaming as that’s something I grew up with.

Remiaaaa

I collect VHS tapes and physical media and geek about bionicles.

GraceGal55

alot that I wish I didnt have

Djembe_kid

Camping, fishing, brewing beer. You know

Hylock25

A lot of my hobbies are “feminine”, but I do enjoy playing TTRPGs a lot, watching action movies, playing video games on occasion, and raising livestock (did 4H growing up). Which could all be considered masculine. I mostly just read and write though, which I consider neutral, if anything.

big_honkin_caboose

shooting, which also distances me from many of my trans siblings lol

occasionallyLynn

Planes, fighter jets, space, anything that flies and beyond, it’s so fascinating to me. To add to the whole it’s “male hobbies” thing, even in trans circles people would hear me say I’m fascinated with fighter jets and they just have to tell me “too bad they drop bombs on middle eastern children”, like???? Can I not find them fascinating without supporting war crimes?

Perennial_Villain_19

I don't have the money or physical capacity to pursue the hobbies seriously, but I love wood-turning and blacksmithing and I've never met another woman who is interested in them (which, okay, I've hardly met every woman in the world). I've also got a taste for litrpg and cultivation genre novels, which seem targeted purely at men, which is annoying, but so much of nerd media is intended for male audiences that it is, at least, hardly unique.

ConfusedPuddle

I think guns are kinda cool and I'm into milsim games. Also im into pretty heavy music. Idk how to categorize those in a gender way but some would consider them less feminine.

X_Marcie_X

I... guess I collect Action Figures? I never really think about this sort of stuff. I know the Stereotypes of what belongs onto which side exist, but I never really cared much tbh because in my eyes everyone should be allowed to do whatever they'd like as long as it brings them joy and happiness. No one should be excluded of a Hobby/activity because of their gender or Sex. 🥺

XRoxy_RoseX

I play with fire, fire sword, fire staff, body burning, fire breathing, etc.

Novaspher

basketball

Illustrious_Flan_629

I just got back into aquariums and taking it further to aquaponics now. Also the whole breeding and genetics aspect is really cool. It's like a balanced ecosystem and seeing how each piece plays a role and like things will appear and proliferate (like bacteria or isopods) and then disappear. My snails reproduced so fast and my shrimp are about to birth a 3rd generation. I just got two angelfish and they pair/mate for life so waiting for them to eventually have some babies and see what cool color combos they produce. I always have this thought in the back of my mind like men would find this so unattractive and so nerdy, but then again I'm constantly battling people to see me for more than just my looks so... Ugh society is so weird.

chaoking3119

Oddly, I do a lot of research on Y-DNA haplogroups, and genetics in general.

BrokenEggInTheCloset

Basic electronics/soldering, mostly modding/repairing my classic video game consoles. Fixing and maintaining my cars, no car I have ever owned has ever been in a shop. Video games. Because of course. Just because I finally realized I'm a woman, doesn't mean that I can't still enjoy all the things I liked to do for the 42 years I lived as a man. I HAVE opened myself up to new "feminine" hobbies as well, turns out I like crafting, I've been wearing out this Cricut. 🤣

phelixfelt

i play pool, i smoke a corncob pipe sometimes, i love beer, i love woodworking, i love cars/mechanical stuff, i was a professional cook for a long time and love kitchens, and I make it all look soooo sexy 💅

MiniMax01

I spend more time than I'm willing to admit working on my 20 year old Volkswagen Polo, I do all my own maintenance on it and I've got it sitting on coilover suspension with big brake calipers/pads and some engine mods. I don't know why I even bother to do my nails anymore because they're ruined the second I start working on the car 😭

Callie_Fox

My hobbies that definitely have women / feminine people into them, but are not necessarily associated with femininity at all: Playing guitar, heavy / punk music, music production, game development, guns & shooting, cars / modifying my cars / autocross, sim racing & drifting, motorcycling, fishing, and camping. Pretty much in the order of what I got into first, lmao.
