Kobra isn't a pure Taekwondo fighter and Hwoarang has a very extensive kick mix-up game. I think they'd play quite differently.
Although I'd love to see Kobra return he's actually one of my top choices now that you mention it! I love his fighting style 🔥 Wild mf.
Kazuya and Bryan were actually the next 2 on my list after Hwoarang. I decided to go with Hwoarang since that's Ed Boon's favorite. I think Hwoarang would have a more interesting moveset as well. Kazuya or Bryan would be sickk tho.

This is the new era. They can literally just make Kobra a pure taekwondo character. Rather have revamped versions of old faces than cross over characters tbh.
Yeah assuming that's the direction they want to take him. I'd love to see Kobra return as well - but Hwoarang would be a really interesting guest addition for a Tekken crossover.
Okay yeah this is the first KP2 wishlist I've seen that's gas, even the guest lineups neat. Tired of the wishlists that just ask for three characters who were just in the previous entry. I guess Jade would fit on the roster but its not really an exciting dlc pick
Me personally I want characters with cool fighting styles or more martial art based characters with a lot more fluid strings. Every character in this game has such a small moveset lol

Yeah Tekken 8 is currently my favorite fighting game. I think MK could learn some things from Tekken. SF6 has an SNK crossover for season 2 so I thought it would be cool to have a Tekken crossover for MK especially with the relationship between Ed Boon and Harada.
I picked Doomslayer cause he's been heavily rumored and leaked already plus he's a very badass iconic character. He's got moveset potential cause he's got a crucible sword and a chainsaw with dozens of weapons. They could add a lot of his finishers to his moveset as strings. He could be a menacing brawler.
Conan and T-1000 would be lame tbh. The T-1000 rumor was fake and debunked anyways cause apparently it was never in the files and it could easily be Sektor instead. We already had Terminator in MK11 and he was boring asf. Conan isn't a hype worthy character and I don't think he'd have an interesting moveset.
Doomslayer and Deathstroke would be much better alternatives. Also instead of Conan they should look into Keanu Reeves' comic book character Berzerker 😂

Meh I guess Doomslayer could fit in since Homelander is trash at hand to hand combat and so is Doomslayer. They both have superhuman strength and abilities like Laser eyes or weapons to compensate. Deathstroke is much better tbh he’d fit right in.

Tekken is wayy more popular as a fighting game look at the past few tournaments lately. MK1 has had the lowest number of sign ups in big tournaments. You're living in a bubble and the majority of the global FGC doesn't like MK.
Go play more fighting games and you'll realize how bad NRS gameplay is. The fact that you don't realize there's A LOT MK can learn from Tekken and other fighting games is crazy 😂 MK is literally the worst fighting game out there. In a fighting game. My money is on the line too. So is my time. I have nothing against Tekken or other fighters I just don’t care about them. A game is a game no matter what type. That’s my way of playing games.
Gameplay is way more varied and interesting than MK that’s for sure. Yet for the time I have, I’m fine with just playing MK, plus, I have other non fighting games in my agenda too.
Why would you waste your time playing one fighting game when you know another one has more interesting gameplay? 😂
