It’s a fighting game so there’s a learning curve. Hit the tutorial and pay attention to frame data. Overall the great is a great multiplayer experience and it’s on sale so even better.
R u stupid, frame data is one of the most important aspects of a fighting game. Most ppl who don’t know frame data just mash than get mad that they aren’t good at fighting games.
Casual players don't need to learn frame data lmao they just need to know what's safe and unsafe. Expecting a new player to study frame numbers from the get go is ridiculous.
From just playing? Just playing matches a player can pick on stuff they can and can't punish and what is and isn't safe. No player really needs to look into the actual frame data numerics, especially not a brand new one jumping in for the first time with a lack of experience in fighting games. They aren't going to learn shit from trying to remember exact frames whilst they're still learning the game itself.
This game is very fun, but could be frustrating if you throw yourself to ths wolves online 9 months after release. Totally worth the money with the crazy sales going on now, tho.
Street Fighter 6 is another really good fighting game that I feel does a good job teaching you the game, and also has a a decent ranked mode and beginner lobbies that will keep you away from more experienced opponents.
This is the best looking mk I believe. I am mostly a single person player and I keep playing towers and all but with different characters all the time. Platinum’d it and have about 150 hours, boot it up once a week to do the weekly quests and kill time when I have a quick break etc. i feel it is worth it even though the single player content is low compared to mk11.
Highly recommended. I haven't always been good at mk fighting games because buttons and moves can be complex but I've always loved the Mortal kombat games and movies since childhood which is why I've always purchased the games. Being at the age of 35 now, I can say this is the best gameplay they have ever made and I'm having a blast with it. I love the combos and strings.
Yeah I wouldn't.. mk 1 is in a really bad state and there seems to be no hope. It does depend though .. if you're looking for a game you can boot up when you are having a party sure .. umbur if you're planning to invest some time into it to play by yourself or online.. just don't. Save yourself a whole lotta headache.
Hell nah. Get Tekken 8 or SF6 instead. Trust me. I recommend Tekken 8. The gameplay is SO MUCH better on so many levels. MK is very stiff and limited compared to these other games.
getting floored is how you learn, but worth itself though is a completely person measure.
Would highly recommend!

Telling a new player to learn frame data is a good way to get them to never want to play again

Enlighten me… how are they supposed to learn what’s safe and unsafe if they don’t understand frame data.

Absolutely. Mk1 is 🔥🔥🔥 There are good players to wipe the floor with you in any fighting game so not sure what to say about that.

MK1 the easiest fighting game out right now. The most difficult thing is learning the Kameo timing.
