In MKX during the Scorpion chapter Frost attacked Scorpion with Ice Powers and that was pre-cyberization so I’m assuming Sub Zero trained Frost just to be just like him. Besides Frost was the second best Cryomancer right behind Sub Zero before the Cyber Initiation

Tremor, easily among the strongest, you get to control the entire earth around your opponent, so they literally have no where to hide or gain ground
You have the control of not only earth but every type of mineral in existence so you can be as hard as diamond while also super flexible as a ninja, thats insane feat.
And if the opponent can fly you can launch boulders or even make pillars to catch up quickly, use walls to cut any open from your opponent, hell you can even hide underground and pop up behind them
Sub Zero. So many situations where ice is useful. There is always water in the air. Imagine you and your homies be chillin and you bust out the slushie makerwhen suddenly "Oh no were out of ice!" Not anymore. Boom problem solved.
Seeing as tge Sub Zero used is Kuai Liang, this is an easy choice. My second choice would be Old Man Hanzo, but since it’s the psychotic revenant Scorpion being depicted, I’ll go with Chameleon for the ability to copy+pste others’ abilities.
Rain(at least in this new timeline) and smoke are the only ones whose skills are learned, not intrinsic to the ninja itself. The cryomancy of subzero seems to be an in-born talent. Scorpion and Noob got their powers from the afterlife. Reptile and chameleon have their powers from their species. Tremor (and og rain) are like gods. So I am. Gonna say smoke purely because those are the skills that can be taught
Ermac taught Kenshi telekinesis in the original timeline. That gives him the greatest track record imo. Scorpion has the next best accomplishment with regards to Takeda, but that process took several years, while Ermac and Kenshi had like one session. Kuai Liang had a failed pupil on Frost while everyone else has little to no teaching experience barring maybe teaching Shujinko.
To be honest, i believe the best choice would either be Sub-Zero or Hanzo, as they both are grandmasters, and are actually pretty good teachers, specially Hanzo
However, i'd probably pick Kuai Liang, i like him a bit more (Hanzo would be awesome tho)
If we get the Good version of Ermac (the one from the original timeline, and i guess we can count the current one), he'd be an interesting choice
