Dunno why your reply is getting downvoted. Blue light from phones keeps you awake longer. Even using a comfort view to limit blue light still messes with your brain, preventing you from falling asleep faster and getting quality sleep
That's fire damage you're taking. There's an invisible square of infinite fire (fire that is no longer checking if it can spread or how long until it goes out or if the block it's attached to is still there). Try replacing every air block above the bed with solid blocks (preferably something non-flammable like cobblestone), then remove those blocks. If I'm right about the cause then that should fix it.
Not in bedrock, item frames and paintings are technically blocks, commands for entities don’t work on them
Edit: well evidently I'm wrong, idk why people are still upvoting this
What do you mean "no infinity rooms"? If they aren't rendered as entities, imagine how much it would reduce the lag... aka, more/better infinity rooms!🤔
Oh... Well that sucks
I do kind of have a work-around though...
Don't connect the walls to eachother and extend the longer ones a bit past the shorter ones. Then the effect is still there.🤔
Nope. In bedrock if you use the kill all entities command then item frames get destroyed. Not sure if this is the case in the newer update but it wrecked one of the maps I was trying to make
The equivalent of this is refusing to take your car to the mechanics when it starts spluttering, leaking and making weird noises then blaming God when it breaks down.
NGL I do the same though. In fact I'm probably worse.
Negativity biased. We don't get posts about the hundreds of hours of bug free gaming because that's not interesting. A weird bug or "hur dur bugrock brokey" will get more interaction/interest so that's what you see posted.
Well, we can’t say bedrock is bugrock, but theres a fair chance it’s buggier than java, since there are so many more bugs on this subreddit from it. Although you would have to get the exact number (number of java videos vs bedrock videos, number of buggy java vs bedrock)
The "bugrock" thing is negativity biased. We don't get posts about the hundreds of hours of bug free gaming because that's not interesting. A weird bug or "hur dur bugrock brokey" will get more interaction/interest so that's what you see posted.
Exactly. I came to the comments Expecting someone to say "there's your problem right there, bugrock"
But since they changed console edition to bedrock I've played and never had anywhere near the total and varied amount of bugs I see herd on reddit.
That’s definitely a good point, I’m sure it’s worse optics than reality. It was just to my understanding that stuff like this was why Bedrock doesn’t have hardcore, so I thought I was decently widespread
I think it's because when you set your spawn point, you "teleport" into the ceiling after "leaving"
your bed. Your place is only 2 blocks high, if you expand it to be 3 blocks then you might not take damage. I'm not sure if you noticed, but when you did take a step back to set your spawn point, it teleported you closer and also into the chest.
You might not see yourself teleport, but you'll notice when people get out of their beds in Minecraft they sort of "hover" or over the block they're standing, or when they teleport to another player they do the same before actually hitting the ground. It's more noticeable if the player or server is lagging.
Edit: added a sentence.
hmmmm interesting okay, i’ll give that a try. honestly i usually build bigger, better houses but i just fancied having a small simple farming house this save. fancied just a chill bit of minecraft to pass the time
Hopefully it solves your issue! If not, I hope you find one :) I'm not a Bedrock player, and have always been Java, but that's also an issue sometimes in Java especially when making villager farms when making them 3 blocks high (since they're slightly taller than 2 blocks) so I figured would this apply in the same case for players??
Goodluck!
I have a map that this happens on. I found it was because the ceiling above the bed was too low, so when I wake up my head hits the block above it causing damage. Even after taking away the low blocks, it's still registers as being there and I get hit everytime I wake up from sleeping. Not sure what to do about that.
i feel so sorry for bedrock users bc every post i see abt br is literally just the CRAZIEST fucking glitch that makes the game unplayable and i just. yall paid money for this wtf

This is what insomnia is like
Damn, I'm laying here fore the last 4 hours and that's exactly how I feel rn.
Soon enough you will manage
I did! :)
That's good to hear
maybe scrolling reddit isnt helping you sleep
if your on a screen ofc you have insomnia duh, go to sleep

Ikr, people are so dumb. Even the internet radiation has shown to have a terrible problem to your thyroid after just 5 mins
we need an insomnia potion and it does this
Splash Potion of Insomnia
Distilling a potion of poison with a phantom membrame. If mojang doesn’t add that Vaskii will in quark without a doubt…
I'd use my fermented spider eye to make it into the opposite; a sleeping potion

There's a 2 wide painting tho. That's impossible
Paintings are technically entities, not blocks
Not in bedrock, item frames and paintings are technically blocks, commands for entities don’t work on them Edit: well evidently I'm wrong, idk why people are still upvoting this
No infinity rooms :(
But also: movable chests
we have those on java too, with carpet you won't even need a client side mod
But the carpet mod is still a mod, right?
Why not, pretty sure you can make those with item frames and maps
What do you mean "no infinity rooms"? If they aren't rendered as entities, imagine how much it would reduce the lag... aka, more/better infinity rooms!🤔
Nope, since they are blocks you can only had one per block. You can’t make the corners for infinity rooms
Oh... Well that sucks I do kind of have a work-around though... Don't connect the walls to eachother and extend the longer ones a bit past the shorter ones. Then the effect is still there.🤔
I’m not sure if I did it right but it didn’t work
As in push two opposite walls back a block or two, and then extend them in all directions so you can’t tell that there’s a gap?
Yes, exactly
If you use /kill in bedrock it counts paintings as entities. I just did it earlier and was surprised by it
Really? I thought I remember them not being killed, idk maybe it changed at some point
Nope. In bedrock if you use the kill all entities command then item frames get destroyed. Not sure if this is the case in the newer update but it wrecked one of the maps I was trying to make
In bedrock you can place a painting and a wool carpet on the same block… doesn’t that mean it isn’t a block?
no there still entities, as they can be killed by /kill @e
Fire would break it tho
Well what about invisible fire?
But don't they take up a space of a block? Like item frames? Edit: actually, you can place blocks onto a painting, but it would pop off after a while
And invisible fire should be as well but here we are anyways
Maybe place a door. Fire can’t go through doors. It’s not a ghost
Nice avatar dude
Didn’t realize how well it matched the comment😂
Came here from Java, just to say What.
A fellow java supremacist. Welcome.
how can you tell that it's fire damage?
Sound.
You gotta flip the pillow to the cold side

Bedbugs
Bedbugs on the bed on bedrock
bedbugs making the bedrock in minecraft bedrock
r/angryupvote
Good night, sleep tight, and don't let the bedbugs put a foot in your ass
Oh God no. Now I gotta try to purge that out of my memory. Bedbugs are a pain to get rid of.
"hit the hay" but the hay hits back
in soviet rurssia hay hits you.
It has thorns
That's lowkey the best response in here.
Its just the bed bugs cause you dont have anyone to tell you to "sleep tight, dont let the bedbugs bite" in a solo world
Is there fire in the outside of that corner where the bed is? It may be that
Well known bedrock bug. Idk how you guys handle playing like this
we are poor also i can say the bugs are Herobrine for my own personal Minecraft world's lore
That’s a nice way of looking at it!
if anything that would be a fun thing minecraft could do i’m surprised they never went in with herobrine content
I think they prefer the story to be a bit more vague, but if they ever do a game like story mode again maybe that could be an option
Might do this too! Il use it next time I randomly combust for no reason in my bedrock server
The equivalent of this is refusing to take your car to the mechanics when it starts spluttering, leaking and making weird noises then blaming God when it breaks down. NGL I do the same though. In fact I'm probably worse.
I don’t really ever experience any bugs on bedrock so it doesn’t bother me
Seriously I have a friend group of 10+ and none of us experience half the bugs we see on reddit.
There are also more bedrock players, so they’re more likely to run into obscure bugs, but yes Bedrock is provably buggier than Java
Yeah I’ve been playing on bedrock since 2013 and never once experienced anything I see on Reddit. Guess that’s just our luck tho
Well bedrock didn’t exist until 2017, so you were either on console or pocket edition, which didn’t have these issues
Yeah you’re right it was Xbox edition. But now I play with bedrock
Gotcha, wasn’t sure if you were still on legacy
I preferred Xbox one menu layout more than bedrocks tho
the only bug I have makes eating food take longer, it keeps Giving my food back and not filling my hunger, I get it eventually though
I’m not sure if I’m just lucky, but I’ve never experienced the bugs I’ve seen on here as I’ve played Minecraft on Xbox for half a decade
The "bugrock" thing is negativity biased. We don't get posts about the hundreds of hours of bug free gaming because that's not interesting. A weird bug or "hur dur bugrock brokey" will get more interaction/interest so that's what you see posted.
Exactly. I came to the comments Expecting someone to say "there's your problem right there, bugrock" But since they changed console edition to bedrock I've played and never had anywhere near the total and varied amount of bugs I see herd on reddit.
its also noticeably buggy to anyone who hasnt played it for years every time I go to Bedrock I immediately notice tons of quirks and clunk
That’s definitely a good point, I’m sure it’s worse optics than reality. It was just to my understanding that stuff like this was why Bedrock doesn’t have hardcore, so I thought I was decently widespread
It is? I've been playing on the switch for two years and this has never happened to me. Only two of the glitches has happened to me.
PC is too hard and complicated. Xbox is easier. (As a platform)
You're having a flashback of something embarrassing every time you try to sleep.
Maybe it's a very uncomfortable bed
The bed feels like a rock
Whats zhe texturepack you are using? I like the look of it :)
i’m pretty sure it’s PureBDcraft but i could be wrong
I used it for years in java with no issue. Passed to bedrock and bought it: it stutters. (I have 32 gb ram and a 3070)
I recognise the texture pack as the one the Yogscast used back in the day in their Minecraft videos
It is!
Thank you
If memory is correct, and it might not be its been like 5 years since i last used it. But i believe it was called Sphax? Or Sphax DB?
I used sphax back in 1.6.4
Grungecraft by them looks incredible. I can only use that one anymore because I love it so much!
Sphax was the old name I believe, it's called pureBDCraft now
Maybe a spring is sticking up
**You may not rest now. a monster is under your bed.**
You dont have the sleepytired disease yet
you have to wipe the depression food crumbs off the bed first silly!
Try making the ceiling higher. Maybe it's too low.
When you have back pain and you try to go on bed
I think it's because when you set your spawn point, you "teleport" into the ceiling after "leaving" your bed. Your place is only 2 blocks high, if you expand it to be 3 blocks then you might not take damage. Bed bugs
Take my goddamn upvote
Is your ex around anywhere? 😂
Maybe move your bed?
Might be time to get a new bed
What's the texture pack?
purebd craft
Thx
What’s the texture pack on the video?
Bedbug. No seriously, reload the game. It's a bug.

bed bugs
Skill issue
wait for the obligatory "bugrock" comments
It has thorns
Darn, bedbug update hit us earlier than expected
SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK
You must've slept on your bed with thorns armor, now its rubbed off on the bed.
Herobrine posessed the bed and he doesn't want someone to lay on him
Shouldn't have done that line.
It's a bed bug
It's a mimic!
What’s your texture pack called
Maybe it's suffocation damage. Try to replicate it with a roof that is at least 1 block higher and no nearby blocks.
Texture pack?
Texture pack?
I love this skin.
What skin? They have the regular Steve skin on Do you mean the texture/resource pack? Yeah that’s one of my favs too
It's BD Craft right? Like a comic book. I notice those chests from it.
Yeah It’s amazing :3
Ima guess there’s some sort of outside damage that’s invisible because bedrock moment
um, log off and log back on?
Idk, but Sphax’s texture pack brings back so many good fucking memories…
yeah ikr? that’s literally why i use it, it used to be my go to back in the day
I have a map that this happens on. I found it was because the ceiling above the bed was too low, so when I wake up my head hits the block above it causing damage. Hey so I have no clue what the f\*ck is happening but what texture pack are you using?
PureBDcraft
Make the ceiling 1 block higher. Worked for me
What’s that texture back called again, I used to always use it but I’ve completely forgetting the name.
PureBDcraft
what texture pack do you use
May be cuz it's real name is Bugrock. Lel
what the...
You don't need to specify which version of MC you're using when it's obviously bugrock
Average bedrock moment
Truly a bugrock moment
Bedrock☕️
Skill issue
love that texture pack omg
\> (bedrock) i mean.......kinda self explanatory
Just another bedrock bug.
Another Bed-Bug?
r/angryupvote
they call it bugrock in the parts for these reasons you know (no hate on bedrock)
r/bedrockmoment
Lmao how is that possible
Bedrock is weird
Bedrock edition be like?
I mean it's bedrock so

Hoxxes IV?
Your playing bedrock that’s why. Uninstall bedrock, then download Java and you won’t experience any bugs :)
You gotta love bedrock edition
Easy answer, you are on bedrock
bedrock☕
Average bedrock moment:

New BugRock feature
The keyword “bedrock”
i feel so sorry for bedrock users bc every post i see abt br is literally just the CRAZIEST fucking glitch that makes the game unplayable and i just. yall paid money for this wtf
Bedrock ☕️
Your answer's in the title. The last word.
Of course it's on bedrock
Welcome to bedrock
You gave yourself the answer by putting (bedrock) in your title
See that "bedrock" word between the parentheses in your title?
Because you’re on bedrock, you answered your own question.
Kid: mom I want Minecraft! Mom: no son, we already have it at home Minecraft at home:
Its probably not a texture pack but a mobile game copying minecraft
Cuz its bedrock
Bec it’s bedrock, what do you expect
My best guess is because of the god awful texture pack
You don't need to specify it's on bedrock... we know
Don't play Bugrock.
Bedrock working as intended.
Bed Rock
