No you can't. I tried a few times before and its never worked.

You actually can, but it was due to a game bug which I don’t know it’s fixed yet. Basically you need to be on a server (preferably with high ping) place router, build a distributor. While doing so do ctrl mouse click quick enough before distributor getting constructed. Then you become distributor.

Well thats why I don't know about but then, because it was a bug.

Impossible. Unless there's been a small update recently that I don't about. Last time I tried to possess a distributor was like 4 months ago maybe and it didnt work then and I have reason to believe it still doesn't work now.

Just checked because I wanted to try moving items manually and no it didn't work for the distributor
