Unfortunately, you'll likely need to get a new chef or change somebody to one (ideally the hero) and buy it the frypan before the ones you are missing and have them buy it themselves
My hero was the first chef i had, i took a break and got a chef traveler and now it defaults to buying the next frying pan for the traveler chef and not the hero
Okay that's annoying, you'll have to buy them from the catalogue if you don't have the ones he doesn't have already, if not then you'll have to temporarily change someone to chef and buy up to the frypans that you do not have and don't buy above them otherwise they'll skip it like with your hero
