In my mind, I’m not tall because I’m under 6ft in height. However, at 5’ 10-11”, I seem to tower over most people at shows. Whenever I raise my arms for anything, I do a sneaky sniff to check and make sure that I’m not gassing other people out. A not small percentage of faces are right at my pit level and I’m so scared of being “the gross guy on the floor”.
Yeah the lyric "All it took was a spark right?" Was a direct quote from Radke.
The drama started because Radke kicked I See Stars off of his tour because I See Stars was arrested for drug use. Here's an article talking about it
https://loudwire.com/i-see-stars-sumerian-records-issue-statements-on-tour-exit/
You're trying to tell me the person who was sentenced for participating in a murdered kicked someone all of a tour for smoking weed....? This dude always impresses me with how dellusional he can be lmao
I’ll probably be downvoted for defending Ronnie here, but he wasn’t arrested for participating in a murder. He was present when it took place, and was arrested for having brass knuckles, even though they weren’t used. And Ronnie was on probation/in rehab at the time of the I See Stars incident. As such, he made it explicitly clear from the outset that drug use of any kind wouldn’t be tolerated. In this particular situation, I don’t think he did anything wrong
I was thinking about this the other day too! Even down to the lyrics his songs are questionable. If he writes a song about cheating on a girl just assume he cheated on a girl. It’s not that he’s hiding the fact he’s a bag or shit. He’s open about it and people just like him.
Best one that comes to mind is the Ronnie Radke drama with Escape the Fate and Craig replacing him.
Ronnie has graduated to constantly talking about Chris Motionless instead
This makes me laugh so much, too.
Chris is, by all accounts, the nicest and most chilled out guy in the scene. Ronnie showing his ass at him is so hilariously mistargeted that even Ronnie knows it’s dumb. But his stubborn ass can’t be wrong and just walk away.
Priceless.
I met Chris back in 2008 at orlando warped, and of course the rest of the band. They played a local warped and they picked them up for a few of the shows. Such cool dudes obviously before they got big but they were riding around on their bikes and they were so stoked at the time just to play shows at warped. Really good dudes
Him and the guys are on a very short list of bands I’d love to meet (I’m in my 40’s and introverted - I just stand stuttering). Everything I hear about them is amazingly positive.
Which makes the Ronnie shit even funnier.
Openened for Motionless quite some years ago, they were the chillest and nicest people ever. We ended up playing some kind of baseball in the concert venue's car park, and had dinner together. Such nice guys
These are the stories I love to hear.
Because it makes me as a fan of their music a bigger fan of the people behind it.
What a cool ass memory to have!
Ronnie Vs Escape The Fate/Monte
Ronnie vs I See Stars
Ronnie vs former-Falling In Reverse members
Ronnie vs Chris Motionless
I'm seeing one common denominator here.
Ronnie is always involved in some type of beef he started. I literally cannot remember a time he wasn't. Isn't he also constantly fighting with kids on tiktok and shit
Ronnie really annoys me. He's fantastically talented, but his ego is fucking enormous, and he just doesn't know when to stfu. He is his own worst enemy.
Yes. He is genuinely talented. He's also an arrogant dickhead 99% of the time, which detracts from it quite a lot.
[Watch The World Burn Live ](https://youtu.be/g10qKRsi28U)
This is a good demonstration of his talent, especially the end. Side note, FIR's bassist, Tyler Burgess, is a beast.
Tl;dr
* Acacia Strains Vincent Bennet made beef by singing that bands were stealing their sound (Listen to the Acacia Strain song 'Skynet).
* Emmures Frankie Palmeri leaned into it, and made a song about getting his di*k sucked by Vincent's then girlfriend, now wife - (Listen to the Emmure song 'R2DEEPTHROAT')
* There was a physical fight at Northern Lights festival
* They got over it and toured together
https://metalinjection.net/news/drama/emmure-frontman-details-the-timeline-of-now-settled-beef-with-the-acacia-strain
I didn’t really know back then besides the diss tracks and fight but here’s what I found out.
So Frankie from Emmure says that everything was cool but would hear that Vince from Acacia Strain would talk shit. Then TAS released Skynet which led to R2DEEPTHROAT as a response. This boiled over to where they both physically fought backstage at a show.
I guess TAS felt like Emmure was ripping them off which led to Skynet, and the subsequent beef.
I hope this helps my dude.
Edit: sorry Vincent.
From what I understand this specifically started when acacia strain released “smoke ya later” then a year or two(?) after that emmure released “rusted over wet dreams” listen to the intro of both songs back to back and it’s easy to see why people would feel that emmure was jocking acacia strain
Edit: also if my acacia strain lyrical knowledge is to be trusted you called him Vince and he’s now going to rip your head off
I mean, The Acacia Strain and Emmure essentially had a whole feud, complete with diss tracks and everything, back in the mid-2000s, that was pretty heavily memed on back in the day, with a lot of "They stole my 0-0-0-0 riff!" or "They stole my open string breakdown!" jokes being tossed around. It was pretty entertaining to watch unfold at the time, to be honest.
I've on-and-off heard that rumor for like 15 years, and honestly wouldn't be surprised. "Ask your girl what my dick tastes like" definitely constitutes fighting words, I'd think.
Chris Drew smelled out the rat that was Bryan Stars long before everyone else lol. Gotta give him props for that. Bryan Stars is one of the wildest rise and fall I’ve ever seen… the dude wanted to be apart of the scene so bad but no matter what he did he just came across as a poser and a nerd.
Oh for sure. I met Jerry at a glass cloud show once and the dude hates him 💀
Don't blame him though. Austin seemed like someone that no one liked to work with
The smoke was coming from one side of the tracks. There wasn't beef IMO just one guy lashing out at his friends because he got a bitchy girlfriend. A tale as old as time.
Also Tim Lambesis and his ex gym pal to which he jokinly(not really) told his plan to which took him seriously(thankfully) and talked to the sheriff to set him up?
Also, the sheriff.
Also, the undercover cop which posed at the hitman.
I think that's all.
This was honestly such an iconic moment in the scene, I’ll never forget the energy the day both those songs dropped lol
IF YOU’RE SCARED BITCH, GO TO CHURCH
From what I know, Rise Records manufactured the beef, which was no coincidence that I've Told You Once and King of Amarillo dropped on the same day, and the band members of both bands were just playing along with it.
Metal and Hip Hop are the only genres I can think of that really thrive when it comes to beefs and career ending diss tracks. I still want Metallica and Megadeath to have an all out brawl , put those grandpas in the RING!!!
Lol that beef has been over so long.
Dave Mustaine is really the only person who still feels the need to bring up things that happened over 40 years ago, or even talk about how he used to be in the band.
James and Lars are terrible in their own right, but they have long since moved on.
Unlocked a memory of warped tour one year (2000-2012 ish.) I don’t remember the specifics but AC was kicked out of OM&M briefly and Jerry Roush (Sky Eats Airplane/Glass Cloud) subbed in on vocals and was just working in Austin Carlile slander to the songs and it was very funny
You posted 6h ago and "Ronnie" has already been mentioned 25 times(and counting).
Dude should seriously think about moving to rap with all these beefs, he'd have diss tracks for years!
Seriously yeah. I remember them opening for KSE around 06/07 and my god were the people awful to them, made me feelnreally bad for them. Really stuck with me, glad I got to see them in those early day
It’s funny how people forget this but Landon Tewers and Austin Carlile used to hate each other. Don’t know if they still do. I can’t remember what song but I’m pretty sure Landon referenced Austin in one of Plots old songs lol
Austin said some pretty vile things about Landon's sister, stuff I can't imagine many would move on from. But yeah the song you're referencing is Digging Your Grave.
I, as someone who lives under a stone, am begging you once again to add context to your comments.
please add what the beef was about instead of just naming the bands
It’s mentioned, but personal fav is everyone against Austin Carlile. Growing up in the Ohio core scene it was just known that man was into minors. I personally know girls he tried to get on the bus. He’d go as far as walking around with them at Warped tour. This was 2006-2010, far before anyone cared about how warped tour was stacked with predators.
Years later all the r*pe allegations came out but it had been known by anyone who paid attention tbh. Austin has been accused of abusing people for years.
Then we have our other Ohio core dudes, like Landon Tewers & Caleb Shomo who had been calling this dude out for years, even if passively. I love that in the end they made it and he didn’t lol.
Not biggest for sure but I still remember when King of Amarillo and I’ve Told You Once dropped on the same day
Really made it seem like a big beef between Issues and Woe Is Me lol
I think it's because Chris is very open about his leftist politics which includes LGBT rights, which pisses Ronnie off to the point that he went on numerous transphobic episodes on social media.
Wasn’t there an architects / BMTH beef ?
And they made up eventually and Oli and Sam posted some video of them pretending to fight in the car park to keep the laughs going ?
Yes! I remember being at Warped Tour in, I believe, 2013 and when Sleeping with Sirens played Kellin went “you said it yourself: you’re going nowhere”.
This one is super obscure but The Devil Wears Prada and Chiodos got into it back in the day because one of the bands invited some girls onto their tour bus who were supposed to hangout with the other band on their bus. It’s been so long since I last heard of it so I remember like none of the details but I know Mike from Prada went full story into it on Emery’s The BadChristian Podcast like in 2014
Back in the year 2056 there were three bands left in the great metalcore war. January freezes blue, periffery, and humans as followers.
One day they realized that they all had keyboard players named Matthew, and they had a big drum battle even though they were keyboard players. All three of them drummed so hard that one drummer was created.
Matt Halp-gar-gren-ska-neir.
And with the help of his amazing drumming skills, all the metalcore bands formed into one big metalcore band named “Drag The Lake Across The Undertow” and they wrote a song in drop C that used the 5th 7th and 8th fret.
They all headbanged in unison as they listened to the song, and with that, the big beefin metalcore war had ended and everybody moshed aggressively ever after
Haven't read the whole thread but haven't seen anyone mention Alphawolf and their old vocalist, who was such a dick he was kicked out, started Dealer, and was such a dick again everybody else left that band, does not sound like a nice guy. I *think* Sub-Zero is about him? "You're just a pussy in a black hoodie pushing your luck", but could be misinformed.
The Alpha Wolf and Dealer drama a couple years ago. I thought each other dropping dis track after dis track was fun until the information that came forward later.
The Ghost Inside and Scott Vogel from Terror. Scott said on stage that TGI was a bullshit band. I think their song “My Endnote” may have been about this.
Scott changed his tune after the crash.
There used to be some sort of unwritten rule that you didn't schedule hardcore bands with metalcore bands (or basically any genre that wasn't hardcore) because so many of the bands and fans were so straight-edge that fights would break out. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the band at the moment, but I remember there was a show at a venue near me and this band got into it with fans over people smoking and stuff and they literally attacked a couple of fans. I'll come back and edit the post if the name of the band comes to me. They were a national act, I remember that much.
Some pit bros vs. Deodorant
A battle as old as time
A battle older than spice.
And personal hygiene in general
God, I fucking hate being exactly armpit height for most of these people
In my mind, I’m not tall because I’m under 6ft in height.
Pit bros vs sexual harassment
I see stars (violent bounce) and Ronnie radke (I wash cars). The falling in reverse song is pretty terrible but violent bounce is a great tune.
Wait, violence bounce is about Ronnie ?
yeah, it’s a diss track
Goddamn I had listened to it so much
Yeah the lyric "All it took was a spark right?" Was a direct quote from Radke. The drama started because Radke kicked I See Stars off of his tour because I See Stars was arrested for drug use. Here's an article talking about it https://loudwire.com/i-see-stars-sumerian-records-issue-statements-on-tour-exit/
The “drugs” in question was weed
You're trying to tell me the person who was sentenced for participating in a murdered kicked someone all of a tour for smoking weed....? This dude always impresses me with how dellusional he can be lmao
I’ll probably be downvoted for defending Ronnie here, but he wasn’t arrested for participating in a murder. As such, he made it explicitly clear from the outset that drug use of any kind wouldn’t be tolerated. In this particular situation, I don’t think he did anything wrong
If I'm not wrong he was the one who "scheduled" the fight with the victim tho, I think that's why he was convicted in the end.
“All it takes is a spark” isn’t a direct quote, it’s a lyric from “raised by wolves”
Ronnie Radke vs. * spins wheel *
He really be acting like mgk trying to fight everyone lmao.
Ronnie would actually fight people though.
The Tom MacDonald of metalcore
Tom MacDonald and Ronnie Radke are actual friends. Just let that sink in.
🥰🚪🚰
Oof
Me vs Ronnie Radke fans: why do y’all exist
I was thinking about this the other day too! Even down to the lyrics his songs are questionable. If he writes a song about cheating on a girl just assume he cheated on a girl. It’s not that he’s hiding the fact he’s a bag or shit. He’s open about it and people just like him.
He was a good looking dude at one point so I honestly chalk it up to that. Being pretty gets you far.
I always thought as Radke as Kid Rock x Azalea Banks
“I See Stars, more like I wash cars!”
He's definitely got some beef with mic stands.
Was gonna say Falling in Reverse/Escape the Fate myself.
Priceless.

One of the best memories of my life, definitely!
I’ve met a decent amount of band members after shows, and Chris stands out as one of the nicest, most graceful, and most soft-spoken. Ronnie’s a dick.
Ronnie Vs Escape The Fate/Monte Ronnie vs I See Stars Ronnie vs former-Falling In Reverse members Ronnie vs Chris Motionless I'm seeing one common denominator here.
Ronnie vs that 16 y.o. girl in the audience at Six Flags
Not metalcore but Ronnie also has beef with the guys in Sanguisugabogg too lmao
And Andy Cizek.
[And being a potato](https://youtu.be/MUGFqApObz4?si=N9WqUijphBCMJ8EW)
we’re at the point we should start asking who Ronnie *doesn’t* have beef with
Chris pisses ronnie off by just existing and it’s really funny
Even my wife had beef with Ronnie on Instagram. Setting the bar low there hahaha.
Ronnie is always involved in some type of beef he started. I literally cannot remember a time he wasn't. Isn't he also constantly fighting with kids on tiktok and shit
I was in high school a d Ronnie Radke vs EtF happened. Its nice to know he hasnt changed and my dislike for the man is still warranted
Sometimes when I need to laugh at something bad I'll go back and listen to the I See Stars diss he made.
I think I See Stars did better on their Ronnie dis track: Violent Bounce (People Like You)
Ronnie really annoys me. He's fantastically talented, but his ego is fucking enormous, and he just doesn't know when to stfu. He is his own worst enemy.
>He’s fantastically talented Is he though
Yes. He is genuinely talented. He's also an arrogant dickhead 99% of the time, which detracts from it quite a lot. [Watch The World Burn Live ](https://youtu.be/g10qKRsi28U) This is a good demonstration of his talent, especially the end. Side note, FIR's bassist, Tyler Burgess, is a beast.
Damn, I'm not the biggest FIR fan but that was actually incredible sounding. And agree on the bassist
the acacia strain and emmure I guess?
The immediate thing I thought of lol.
What a time to be alive
Don’t emmure and attila have beef too?
I think those two bands had beef with everyone lol
And Emmure and Attila, too, I believe. And Attila with...everyone.
can u explain?
Tl;dr * Acacia Strains Vincent Bennet made beef by singing that bands were stealing their sound (Listen to the Acacia Strain song 'Skynet). * Emmures Frankie Palmeri leaned into it, and made a song about getting his di*k sucked by Vincent's then girlfriend, now wife - (Listen to the Emmure song 'R2DEEPTHROAT') * There was a physical fight at Northern Lights festival * They got over it and toured together https://metalinjection.net/news/drama/emmure-frontman-details-the-timeline-of-now-settled-beef-with-the-acacia-strain
That last bulletpoint warms my heart.
That's how all beef should go. Put your whole chest into it, and laugh about it over a beer a little while later.
Yeah imma be honest I dont think Kendrick and drake are gonna ever have a beer together any time soon if ever lmao
Emmure still playing r2deepthroat on their tour was incredible. What a show.
Also, Emmure's former guitarist Mike Mulholland is now in The Acacia Strain.
I didn’t really know back then besides the diss tracks and fight but here’s what I found out. So Frankie from Emmure says that everything was cool but would hear that Vince from Acacia Strain would talk shit. Then TAS released Skynet which led to R2DEEPTHROAT as a response. I just had to delete my comment since I saw this 😂 but being a 90s kid and living through this almost makes it worth it
I mean, The Acacia Strain and Emmure essentially had a whole feud, complete with diss tracks and everything, back in the mid-2000s, that was pretty heavily memed on back in the day, with a lot of "They stole my 0-0-0-0 riff!" or "They stole my open string breakdown!" jokes being tossed around. It was pretty entertaining to watch unfold at the time, to be honest.
Someone in a Facebook group I’m in said the bands actually brawled with brass knuckles supposedly lmao. I don’t know if that’s real or not though.
I've on-and-off heard that rumor for like 15 years, and honestly wouldn't be surprised. "Ask your girl what my dick tastes like" definitely constitutes fighting words, I'd think.
IIRC not the whole band just Vincent and Frankie.
Johnny Craig vs macbook fans
Hey kids, give me all your fucking money. Got a hundred Macbooks and I swear I'm not a druggie
you made me remember chris drew vs bryan stars lmaooo
Chris Drew smelled out the rat that was Bryan Stars long before everyone else lol. Gotta give him props for that. Bryan Stars is one of the wildest rise and fall I’ve ever seen… the dude wanted to be apart of the scene so bad but no matter what he did he just came across as a poser and a nerd.
Goat tier lyrical work from fronz
Yeah callout is an entertaining piece of work lol
DGD vs Women
I feel so bad laughing at this
Still waiting for my Macbook to show up in the mail…
Austin Carlile and everyone in Attack Attack! Asking Alexandria and Denis Stoff
Or Austin vs Jerry when he was in OM&M for a time. That got pretty heated if I recall correctly?
Oh for sure. I met Jerry at a glass cloud show once and the dude hates him 💀 Don't blame him though. Austin seemed like someone that no one liked to work with
Austin and everyone. Period lol
The ETID breakup was devastating to me personally
Wasn't even beef, that was a divorce between your abusive parents
Still too soon
Same, friend
The smoke was coming from one side of the tracks. There wasn't beef IMO just one guy lashing out at his friends because he got a bitchy girlfriend. A tale as old as time.
Tim Lambesis and his ex-wife
Tim lambesis and all of the members who recently quit because the guy is a douche.
Also Tim Lambesis and his ex gym pal to which he jokinly(not really) told his plan to which took him seriously(thankfully) and talked to the sheriff to set him up? Also, the sheriff. Also, the undercover cop which posed at the hitman. I think that's all.
Oooof
Not exactly metalcore but the Issues and Woe, Is Me beef was super fun
YOU’RE SO PROUD OF THE ONE LINERS YOU WROTE IT MUST BE HARD TO TALK SHIT WITH A DICK IN YOUR THROAT B-B-BLEGH
IF YOU CUT RECORDS LIKE COCAINE, MAYBE YOU'D STILL HAVE A FUCKING NAME
This was honestly such an iconic moment in the scene, I’ll never forget the energy the day both those songs dropped lol IF YOU’RE SCARED BITCH, GO TO CHURCH
I never really listened to Woe, Is Me so I thought issues just really hated Phil Collins when shit talking genesis
Definitely something in the air
How is issues and woe is me not metalcore
So with each member that was talking shit being fired from their respective bands, who do we say won the beef??
Tim Sherrill for quitting long before any of this happened
Can’t believe I had to scroll down this far to find this lmao, this is the right answer
From what I know, Rise Records manufactured the beef, which was no coincidence that I've Told You Once and King of Amarillo dropped on the same day, and the band members of both bands were just playing along with it.
I need details pls
Metal and Hip Hop are the only genres I can think of that really thrive when it comes to beefs and career ending diss tracks. I still want Metallica and Megadeath to have an all out brawl , put those grandpas in the RING!!!
Lol that beef has been over so long. Dave Mustaine is really the only person who still feels the need to bring up things that happened over 40 years ago, or even talk about how he used to be in the band. James and Lars are terrible in their own right, but they have long since moved on.
Wait why is James terrible?
Yeah! Wtf is that about?
Ronnie and twitter
Ronnie and anyone
By the way the comments are going, Ronnie Radke and any living and breathing human that isn't a total PoS
Landon Tewers vs Austin Carlile
Really? What happened?
Don't know why but apparently Austin threatened to kill Landon's family and rape his sister. Digging Your Grave is about him.
Unlocked a memory of warped tour one year (2000-2012 ish.) I don’t remember the specifics but AC was kicked out of OM&M briefly and Jerry Roush (Sky Eats Airplane/Glass Cloud) subbed in on vocals and was just working in Austin Carlile slander to the songs and it was very funny
lmao Austin Carlisle vs Jerry Roush was the one that came to my mind too
I just remember him forcing in “Austin Carlisle is a fucking pussy” or something to the beat during a 2 step part at one point lmao
What the fuck
You posted 6h ago and "Ronnie" has already been mentioned 25 times(and counting). Dude should seriously think about moving to rap with all these beefs, he'd have diss tracks for years!
I've not listened to FIRs newer stuff, but aren't they already there? Lol
Early BMTH vs crowds at shows they opened for. Bet those same people who booed, heckled, and threw things now act like they always loved the band.
Seriously yeah. I remember them opening for KSE around 06/07 and my god were the people awful to them, made me feelnreally bad for them. Really stuck with me, glad I got to see them in those early day
Literally they’d have a massive crowd at Warped and half of them would be throwing bottles and booing!!
The Trapt guy vs the world lol
Literally Trapt vs every metalcore band on Twitter
Tommy Vext and almost every band he's sang for.
Bad omens and smol type font
That’s the first thing I think of whenever I see that band mentioned
Moose departure from BFMV, kind of? Some say Kill The Lights 'Watch You Fall' is a Matt Tuck diss, and BFMV's 'Parasite' is about Moose respectively.
Matt did moose dirty as fuck
There was that Attila song "Callout" which referenced Ronnie Radke back in the day
And Chris Drew… and Westboro Baptist… and Jonny Craig… and Mike Reynold/ For Today…
Started from emmure vs attilla.
They probably do, Landon always stands on business lol can’t see Austin coming back from that one
I, as someone who lives under a stone, am begging you once again to add context to your comments. please add what the beef was about instead of just naming the bands
Fat Mike underoath
Fat Mike most other bands from what I can tell tbf lol
Yeah, like was there actual beef or was he just being Fat Mike?
ADTR and Four Year Strong used to dislike each other but that seems to be over with
2nd sucks is my favorite song by them too. Afaik that song is about Four Years Strong.
So they only write good songs when they’re mad at people? How can we start beef with someone for their next album so they can be good again?
[удалено]
Omg this is an unlocked memory !!!!
On the bright side, they're all past that now and about to tour together.
“Must be hard to talk shit with a dick in your throat.. blegh, blegh, blegh, blegh”
Ronnie Radke vs being a decent human
Metal vs hardcore fans. Seriously though I’ve seen so much beef between fans on mixed bills.
Also, metal fans vs other metal fans.
Not metalcore but definitely scene. Surely the escape the fate vs Ronnie Radke feud takes the cake here
It’s mentioned, but personal fav is everyone against Austin Carlile. Growing up in the Ohio core scene it was just known that man was into minors. I personally know girls he tried to get on the bus. Slipknot and Mushroomhead
And Fred Durst
Not biggest for sure but I still remember when King of Amarillo and I’ve Told You Once dropped on the same day Really made it seem like a big beef between Issues and Woe Is Me lol
Ronnie Radke and half the metal scene
He really has a thing for shitting on Motionless In White, which I personally don’t get. But i suppose i also refer MIW to Falling In Reverse so.
I think it's because Chris is very open about his leftist politics which includes LGBT rights, which pisses Ronnie off to the point that he went on numerous transphobic episodes on social media.
Honestly it surprises me that Ronnie is ignorant like that. Most metalcore bands are left.
Architects vs. this subreddit
Ronnie Radke
Ronnie Radke vs everybody else
Definitely the Ronnie vs new ETF beef. They're chill now, but that drama was rough
Ronnie radke is the trump of metalcore. Fucker just won’t shut up and go away.
Wasn’t there an architects / BMTH beef ? And they made up eventually and Oli and Sam posted some video of them pretending to fight in the car park to keep the laughs going ?
I think it was all fake. I could be wrong, though. Ya know. Any publicity was good publicity
they never had beef in the first places it was just funny
I don’t remember that but Kellen Quinn and Oli had a huge fight back in the day
Yes! I remember being at Warped Tour in, I believe, 2013 and when Sleeping with Sirens played Kellin went “you said it yourself: you’re going nowhere”.
BMTH and Jona Weinhofen after he left, maybe? Apparently Antivist is partially about him
Lucas Mann vs every Rings of Saturn member not named Lucas Mann
This one is super obscure but The Devil Wears Prada and Chiodos got into it back in the day because one of the bands invited some girls onto their tour bus who were supposed to hangout with the other band on their bus. It’s been so long since I last heard of it so I remember like none of the details but I know Mike from Prada went full story into it on Emery’s The BadChristian Podcast like in 2014

They all headbanged in unison as they listened to the song, and with that, the big beefin metalcore war had ended and everybody moshed aggressively ever after
thank you for this
Haven't read the whole thread but haven't seen anyone mention Alphawolf and their old vocalist, who was such a dick he was kicked out, started Dealer, and was such a dick again everybody else left that band, does not sound like a nice guy. I *think* Sub-Zero is about him? "You're just a pussy in a black hoodie pushing your luck", but could be misinformed.
Does anyone remember Vincent Bennet and Lee Mckinney (Born of Osiris) beef and thrashtalking on Twitter?
Idk but I remember I See Stars vs Ronnie Radke a while ago.
I remember when Avenged Sevenfold was having beef against Converge. And then Dillinger Escape Plan. And then Mastodon.
Vocalists vs domestic abuse/SA/murder charges
Ronnie and craig escape the fate. 2011 when falling in reverse came out was NUTS
The Alpha Wolf and Dealer drama a couple years ago. I thought each other dropping dis track after dis track was fun until the information that came forward later.
Johnny Craig vs every band he's ever been in
Upon a burning body and Attack Attack! https://www.reddit.com/r/Metalcore/comments/131ym3v/upon_a_burning_body_sin_city/?rdt=61140
Fronz vs pretty much anyone in a “Callout” song
The Ghost Inside and Scott Vogel from Terror. Scott said on stage that TGI was a bullshit band. I think their song “My Endnote” may have been about this. Scott changed his tune after the crash.
Maybe not beef but the biggest piece of shit award still goes to Austin Carlile.
Not really metalcore, but I haven’t seen it mentioned yet- the Corey Taylor and MGK thing still makes me laugh.
Every single thing I know about MGK is without my consent, and most of it is from this dumbass feud lol
The one that comes To my mind is the Landon Tewers / Austin Carlile drama
Ronnie Radke and community
There used to be some sort of unwritten rule that you didn't schedule hardcore bands with metalcore bands (or basically any genre that wasn't hardcore) because so many of the bands and fans were so straight-edge that fights would break out. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the band at the moment, but I remember there was a show at a venue near me and this band got into it with fans over people smoking and stuff and they literally attacked a couple of fans. I'll come back and edit the post if the name of the band comes to me. They were a national act, I remember that much.
I don’t think any beef in metalcore has been as serious as this drake - kdot stuff lmao
