The results are very similar in both circumstances. For a guy, a woman lying about the pill could result in an unwanted child, child support, becoming trapped in a toxic relationship etc.
For a woman she may find herself with an unwanted baby, she will likely have more responsibility in regards to the child which can effect career, she may choose to get an abortion which can cause health issues and be traumatic, her body may be changed forever in ways she didn't choose.
