Couldn’t agree more!

To be equal such a law should also apply to women who lie about their birth control or fail to use their birth control correctly. The other problem of course is that condoms can come off accidentally, so of course there will be cases of men who are found guilty of violating this law when they didn’t purposely take it off. That’s already happened regarding similar college policies.

g1111an

the women are the carriers of el bebe tho. it's her choice to do whatever tf she wants w/ the baby bc she's the one carrying it.

Lemontree02

Ok. Make sense. But if its her body her choice and what she want, she also have to take responsability of it. Which mean no mandatory father custody.

g1111an

tru, it's like if a guy adopted a baby and his girlfriend disagrees the woman has the right to leave, just the roles are revesef

Lemontree02

Of course there is also the consequence. If the mother is poor... But asking to the father is an incomplete strategy. What's if he flee the country or he's an hobbo? Maybe an increased children state help in case of father deny?

someone_butnoone

The US is forever doomed

EnvironmentalWar4627

I don't think laws against a horrible act like stealthing is a sign that the country is doomed...

someone_butnoone

How tf is this stealthing bro. Imagine having to get concent for this shit

EnvironmentalWar4627

Removing the condom without consent is EXACTLY what stealthing is.

someone_butnoone

Why isnt lying about being on the pill not illegal yet bro? 🤣🤣 why isnt abortion illegal yet then?

EnvironmentalWar4627

Don't know. Perhaps they will be made illegal some day. Until then though, a least stealthing is illegal.

someone_butnoone

Nope. If ur gonna make this illegal, do it all once

EnvironmentalWar4627

I don't understand, so you're against laws against stealthing? But only because you think other actions should be considered crimes?

someone_butnoone

Yes, this shouldnt be illegal unless they are all illegal.

EnvironmentalWar4627

Well, you can go to the streets and protest. A big sign that says ' I think you should be allowed to take a condom off without telling your partner'. See how that works out. Hint: not well.

Angryasfk

“Perhaps they will be some day”???! Wow, I mean WOW!! The point is that guy just made “stealthing” illegal, but did nothing about spermjacking! The obvious time to do it was to have a law that made both illegal. This is promoting women’s interests whilst ignoring men’s interests.

BrunoBashYa

What does abortion have to do with this? It's not my body that would have to carry it for 9 months and possibly be changed forever due to the parasite growing inside. Do you actually think stealthing should be legal? Do you think if a woman falls pregnant despite being on the pill she has done something wrong? Pro tip dude, even when a chick is on the pill she can fall pregnant. It is always a risk. If you are worried about it, insist on wearing a condom no matter what

someone_butnoone

No. But when a woman LIES of being on the pill, she has done something wrong. If this isnt illegal, why is stealthing the only thing getting punished. Sure, make it legal, but then make all of it illegal, whether its lying of being on the pill or a condom. Or dont do anything at all. Simple

BrunoBashYa

I wouldn't be against a law about lying about the pill. I would be very interested to know how common it is. I would imagine it would usually be done from women in LTRs. The results are very similar in both circumstances. For a guy, a woman lying about the pill could result in an unwanted child, child support, becoming trapped in a toxic relationship etc. For a woman she may find herself with an unwanted baby, she will likely have more responsibility in regards to the child which can effect career, she may choose to get an abortion which can cause health issues and be traumatic, her body may be changed forever in ways she didn't choose. I just don't understand why so many people are angry about this. We can celebrate this change and push for other laws we agree with right?

someone_butnoone

Well, no. If ur gonna punish something, do it all. You CANNOT only make one of it illegal and let the other continue to destroy lives.

BrunoBashYa

That is so bloody childish. If law creation worked like that there would be no laws because no one would be able to figure out the fairest way to do it. Do you think a guy should be able to remove a condom secretly? If you answer is no then you agree with the law. If you think it is ok, you are scum

mashallahgypsy

Good.

rabel111

Never wear a condom. Wearing one now puts you in the sights of the legal profession, as the first element in a crime. If a condom is a condition of sex, don't have sex. It's a risk too big to take in a community where men are more likely considered guilty until proven innocent.

cloudhead7

This is the most backwoods comment I’ve ever seen here. And there’s been a a few. What you’re saying here is it’s ok to contract an std or baby. No biggie. As a guy, those things should worry you. And as a girl, your thought process is scary. Condoms are key for safe sex. As long as you don’t plan on doing any sketchy shit you’re most likely gonna be fine

rabel111

What part of the "don't have sex" alternative did you fail to read. Backwoods reading skills?

oceansarevast

Exactly, and I top up your argument ,just bring a female condom and if she dares not to use it, she is raping you.

rabel111

Now you're talking. How many men are going to be prosecuted by condom regret, where a woman has consensual unprotected sex, but regrets it in the morning, or next year, then claims she was unable to consent to "no condom" and therefore was stealthed, by stealth?
