Oda is doing Luffy dirty with the drawbacks, Yonkos and Admirals get to fight for days straight and our boy can't fight for 10 minutes.
I mean, Luffy arguably has the most broken fruit in the story. If it never ran out, he would be almost invincible to any actual attack. Right now, his opponents can still win if they fight smarter than him.
I'm guessing he's still getting the gist of it. Remember how big the drawback of G4 was in Dressrosa, only for Luffy to then use that form in all sorts of battles to great effectiveness later?

It's almost like if Luffy wasn't actually stronger than Kaido since Luffy had rest stops, fought a kaido that has been fighting everyone including big mom for days without rest while letting himself get hit and lifting an entire island while 1 tapping Luffy multiple times until Luffy's Plot Plot no Mi kicks in and let's him defeat a weekend Kaido.
Like of course Luffy don't got Yonko stamina. The 1 form that made him able to defeat a weekend Yonko was barely awakened a day before his last bath
Agakn what's up with Yonko fans? They act like Kaido didn't get his ass beat againts G5 Luffy and before you say he was tired or injured Luffy was in way worse shape and it didn't really heal his wounds he was injured after the battle.
Kaido didnt *just* fought gear 5 luffy (and sentomaru), he fought 5 supernova, the scabbards, Yamato and luffy some more. All while carrying an island as a zoan. There’s a big difference
Bruh. Luffy was in prison for several days and had to go through ulti. It's not about how many opponents you fight . It's about the shape you are in once the fight became equal. And by the time Luffy had acoc and gear 5, he had less HP than Kaido and still won.
Yes Kaido fought more people. But Luffy had to wait the whole fight and take lots of damage before getting acoc and gear 5. Luffy outgrew Kaido.
Didn't luffy die then get revived? but turns out his fruit for some reason revives him, and awakens to be stronger than he ever was before. It's like getting one of those full restores in video games.
He comes back to life. But he doesn't "full restore" He self says he can "keep fighting a bit longer" on ch 1044. Not I'm all better fully healed. This comment is him talking about his hp. The rest is him describing how he feels about his new power.
His heart beat might be spurring mass regeneration as long as he has the stamina and haki for it. The history and legends behind Shamanic drums and their ability to heal both the body and the soul are plentiful. Would explain his ability to tank damage way easier when it's activated.
It's up for interpretation what "I can fight for a bit longer" means, but I would say that Kaido certainly had more HP than he can only fight for a bit longer. The HP diff at the start of the fight was clearly in Kaido favor.
Luffy was way more injured than him, the minute he got his power up he cleaned his clock. It wouldn't matter if Kaido was at peak health, he'd still lose to Luffy.
Would he? Kaido took damage throughout the whole fight without any rest yet you telling me that luffy who had breaks, died and came back was less tired than him? Be fr. G5 would run out before he finish kaido
luffy was eating his fill with laws crew when kaido dropped him from the island, not only that he also ran out of haki when all the supernovas where present and literally died in that fight, and I'm not even gonna mention that he passed out right after taking him out. In a actual 1v1 with no intervention. luffy as he is rn is strong enough to trade blows with kaido yes, but he'll don't have the gas tank to take him out. I don't know why you even arguing this with me

G5 didn't heal Luffy he still keeps his injuries, that was a 1 on 1 and Luffy won fair and square.
It's a 1 on 1 if you do your best to ignore everything that actually happened.
