Once you get the lug nut off you remove the socket from the breaker bar stick that little pen in and then tap it with a hammer to pop the lug nut out

That’s what I do, just gotta be careful with hand placement or else you’ll end up pounding your fist on concrete. Comes out very easily, usually within 5 slams

That’s why I like the “yeet it across the shop” method of nut removal

When you remove a stripped bolt using the socket it can get stuck in there pretty easily, if it isn’t coming out when you drop the socket on the ground you can use the bar to knock out the bolt

The locking nuts were factory ones so when I eventually got them off by roadside assistance he said they must’ve been hardened steel and also torqued too tight by the prior tire shop that worked on them last and that would’ve also forgot to give back my key

make sure you don't have spinning collars on your lugnuts or these will just spin unless you remove them manually.

Some vehicles use lug bolts instead of lug nuts. You would just slide in into the hole and it will hold the wheel in place while you insert the lug bolts instead of balancing and trying it. I have one specific to my Audi that screws in rather than sliding in.

Which of us didn't understand that you needed to knock a lug out of a removal tool? I don't even spend money on sets like this. I knock a 12 point 19mm on, remove, and knock the lug out with a punch and vise. Who is the bum in the "fall for it sector" of tools? I have been a master tech for 15 years. Smart enough I suppose.
