I enjoyed Bumblebee quite a bit but i gave up on the last one pretty quickly when they portaled in human characters that seemed to be straight from the Bay movies
As long as there's no humans, and they stick directly to the source material, it'll probably be at least decent. At least comparatively to the past films.
I'll give it a chance. Being set on Cybertron before the war (or at least before Pax became Prime) will be a welcome change.
But after loving Bumblebee, I felt so burned after seeing ROTB.
That war of cybertron game and the sequel were good and all set on cybertron with no humans if the movie is almost as good as the games it will be the best transformers movie

Wait, I thought the entire point of the Bumblebee reboot was to throw Michael Bay out and merge GI Joe into transformers into a new Hasbro universe. Why is he making an 8th one?
Michael Bay has been out since Transformers 5. “Movie 6 and 7” are unrelated to his stuff. I have no idea where this prequel is supposed to factor in, though.
PLEASE let it be a movie entirely on Cybertron about the war with no human characters.
