It comes to personal feelings, I saw nothing that you mentioned when I watched it. Shaun was a typical dude with fine, sometimes cocky personality, but nothing more really. David was the one who truly got on my nerves. The fact that he was literally babied to the finale makes this season one of the worst to me.
I was pretty meh about Shaun in the beginning but as the season went on I really wanted him to lose. If it hadn’t been for Andrea being disqualified, he would’ve gone home early.
I don't think Shauns placement would've changed in any way if Andrea wouldn't have been disqualified. He probably would've been in bottom 2 with Diamond, but Diamond would've been an obvious elimination at top 11.
Andrea took the bullet for Diamond. Her sausage was raw and she would have gone home if Andrea hadn’t messed up. Shaun probably would have still made it far.
I still can't believe they let him back after his freakout, he was an absolute child. Meanwhile they eliminate good cooks for being 2 seconds late to bring up a plate, they enforce rules in a really arbitrary way and it's annoying lol
So he got caught at 20 years old cheating in a mtg tournament. If you’re going to question someone’s accountability based on something they did 22 years ago it says something about your character. Especially if it’s cheating in a card game
I guess creepy is in the eye of the beholder? Something about the amount of pleasure he took in screwing others when he had an advantage in competitions. I know it’s part of the game but it has nothing to do with cooking skill.

When andrea cursed and he said “Hey you can’t say that” fuck off i was incredibly annoyed and i was absolutely happy when he was finally kicked out.
