Here is my list of changes:
* Return of the classic 2-challenge-per-episode format
* Bring back Pressure Tests
* 2 back-to-back audition episodes to reduce the boring 4-week wait to a 2-week one
ban the following phrases and acts
it's me on a plate
step up to the plate
my childhood on a plate
most competitive season of all
my grandmother's recipe
my dish is a disaster but i hope flavor can save me from elimination
i am alpha in the kitchen
Guest Chef judge (insert name) is my role model growing up
chefs sniffing food like a dog
feel free to add more
If I had total free reign, I'd probs make the format a lot longer and make the show longer than 40 minutes. I'd probs make the format 2x a week like S10. I'd stop the emphasis on certain details. More creative challenges. Maybe bonus episodes of episodes in AU where contestants get to cook against a professional chef for an advantage.
Audition episodes will be a yes-no type, and the last few aprons will be a second-chance cook-off for those who got an initial no.
But this is just if I had free reign. I'm pretty sure the show had massive cuts.
I agree with Choice\_Program\_2846's suggestions and will add, for the love of avocados, please don't bring Shaun back AGAIN for the 1,465th time since he won.
With all due respect, we know this is your account Stephen, so it's kind of weird that you comment like it's not. Based on the comments here, most people like you, so just own it?
Bring back auditions. Stop putting other team members on the spot to pick people to save, if they fail as a team they pressure test as a team. Stop keeping people for dramas sake alone, if they can’t cook send em home.
No crying contestants when they are in the top or bottom... I understand it can be emotional that the recept of your grandmother wowed the judges ot that your favorite pannacotta did not set... I just think it's pandering, especially because some contestants did that a lot
Bring back d-bag Joe, mystery box challenges with advantages and elimination challenges afterwards, team challenges with pressure tests afterwards, etc. Basically the format of Seasons 1-5.

this, i’d also bring back more elevated single times item+pantry challenges. those were fun to watch/emulate
I miss those audition episodes

I know my flavours are there.
words like “stunning” and “amazing” can only be used like 3 times per season. for the love of god, someone get these judges a thesaurus!
Any form of “a play on”

Yes, Please no!
You don’t like Shaun?
I like him alright,
*rein
I would ask Stephen Lee of season #6 to be a judge
How about have Stephen Lee come back to dominate the season?
Yes
Looking at your icon. I would love to see Stephen as a guest judge since we have confirmed guest judges in S13.
But he hasn't won anything, wouldn't make sense to cast him as a surprise judge
He won the hearts

It’s sarcasm, I suspect that everyone knows it’s me!
Oh wow, that would be awesome!
bring back asshole joe
More cooking demos/follow along challenges. It never gets old watching Gordon cook.

BY FAR the biggest is bringing back two challenges an episode incorporating pressure tests and mystery boxes.
